George and Cindy Anthony Tattoo’s and Earrings

The Globe received images from a passenger on a recent cruise ship with George and Cindy Anthony.  Here they are sporting their new tattoos.  Cindy’s displays the name “Caylee Marie” entwined with a butterfly and is located on her tummy.  George’s is on his chest and has the inscription, “My Sunshine”.  It has a girl with sunbeams streaming down on her.

Cindy and George Anthony still having a hard time controlling themselves

It’s been like this since day one.  To say that George and Cindy Anthony behave oddly is in understatement.  From waiving Hammers, Bats and Hoses in the front yard……

hellanthonys

….to changing their stories, going on suicide runs, and now to  stealing Caylee memorials and chasing down by car those that erect said memorials (allegedly!).

As least that’s the latest report out on the evolution, or  possibly the dissolution of the Anthony family.

Lois Peter and Denise Hill said they have filed a criminal complaint against George and Cindy Anthony after the Anthonys and another couple allegedly chased them out of the neighborhood where the remains of Caylee Anthony were found.

Lois and Denise claimed to have put up two signs since last Friday that have disappeared.  So on Monday it was on like donkey kong.  They got all ninja-like and hid in the woods after putting up a cross for Caylee on the site where she was found.

cross

They waited around til about 10:30 p.m., when they said they saw George and Cindy Anthony removing the signs.   George sped away behind the wheel of his car, but not before one of the ladies  got this picture of him. (allegedly!!)

george getaway

After they took the picture, the women said they were pursued out of the neighborhood by the Anthonys and their friends from the group Kidfinders, Dennis and Sherry Milstead.

Hill said the two couples finally cornered them at the entrance of a nearby gated community.

“The Milsteads and the Anthonys blocked us in, got out of the car and came over to our car. We called 911,” she said.

That’s all just too creepy.  What are George and Cindy thinking with their antics?   Their attorney, who last week said they had nothing to do with things being removed from the site, said he is not aware of any incident involving the Anthonys.

“not aware of ANY incident involving the Anthony’s”??????

What planet has he been living on?

Casey Anthony court hearing in Civil Suit

This morning Casey Anthony’s civil attorneys were in court to address a motion filed by Zenaida Gonzalez attorneys to ammend the suit and add punitive damages.  Anthony’s attorneys are still trying to have this case thrown out or at least postponed until after the criminal case goes to trial.

Casey Anthony was not in the court room, but Cindy and George were both present with their attorney Brad Conway.

It was a short and sweet hearing (at least for ZG)

Judge allowed the ammendment to add punitive damages to the suit.

Conway To Ask For Full Immunity For The Anthonys

photo_servlet6The new lawyer for George and Cindy Anthony spoke to the public Monday. He said he didn’t know about plans to prosecute them on charges related to the case, but he did tell Eyewitness News that he is seeking immunity for Caylee’s grandparents.

Attorney Brad Conway says he just wants to make sure his clients are protected. He wants to make sure charges aren’t filed later.

George and Cindy Anthony were not ready to address the media, but issued a statement  through their attorney Monday. The Anthonys do not plan on making a public statement until the remains found near their home are identified.

Conway said the family is realistic, but hopeful it’s not Caylee.

”The last six months have been the hardest six months of our lives and we understand that the ongoing investigation and prosecution of our daughter, Casey, will consume our lives with conflict,” Conway read from the statement. “Based on recent developments we are realistic but continue to hope and pray that these remains are not those of our precious granddaughter Caylee Marie.”

Once the medical examiner and the defense examine the remains, the remains, if Caylee’s, will be released to the Anthonys.

“If it is Caylee Marie, they will make proper burial,” Conway told Eyewitness News.

Eyewitness News reported last week that sources close to the investigation said they are possibly building a case against Caylee’s grandparents for obstruction of justice. Sources told Eyewitness News, if charges were pursued, it would be after the remains were identified and it would come from the forensic evidence that was recently taken from the Anthony home.

”They have cooperated. They have done nothing,” Conway said.

Conway said he plans to meet with the lead prosecutor and detectives later this week to ask for full immunity for the Anthonys.

“We will not speculate. If the attorney officially decides to ask our office, well will address it then,” said Danielle Taverneri, spokesperson for the State Attorney’s Office.

Conway admits the Anthonys have made conflicting statements in the past. They will be re-interviewed by investigators. He said, for the next interview they give to authorities, there will not be any conflicting statements.

Attorney Brad Conway also said he is representing the Anthonys for free.

Another member of the Anthony Camp packs her things

michellebart

This in a long list of bridges burned along the way.  While Ms. Barts reasons for leaving are vague at best, you don’t have to look too far to see debris scattered in the wake of the Anthony’s.

We’ve all watched them come and go, in an effort to help the Anthony’s in their God only knows situation.  From hotshot attorneys, spokespersons, private investigators, victims advocates, and even bounty hunters, I’m taken back everytime someone raises there hand to help this family out.  They always jump in front of the camera’s so eager and willing, then it always ends the same.  A whimper, as they pick up the pieces of their reputation and head for the door.  Only to hear Cindy rolling them under the bus a few days later on national tv.  One for the road, I guess.

Reminds me of one of my all time favorite fables.  Ironically, I first heard it on natural born killers.

Once upon a time, a woman was picking up firewood. She came upon a poisonous snake frozen in the snow. She took the snake home and nursed it back to health.

One day the snake bit her on the cheek. As she lay dying, she asked the snake, “Why have you done this to me?”

And the snake answered,

“Look, bitch, you knew I was a snake.”

Here’s the story from MyFox Orlando

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35, Orlando) — The spokesperson for George and Cindy Anthony, the grandparents of missing Orlando toddler Caylee Marie, is stepping down.

Michelle Bart is the second spokesperson to represent the Anthony Family in as many months.   She has become a familiar face as the mouthpiece for George and Cindy when they are unavailable.

“I am stepping aside, but I am not going away.  I will continue to be here until the end,” said Bart in a news conference late Sunday evening.

Bart said she was stepping aside for health reasons. She is preparing to undergo surgery at the end of the month in Washington State.

Bart was preceded by Larry Garrison, who resigned as the Anthony’s spokesperson on November 12, for what he called erratic behavior by the Anthony family .

“It is my opinion that others have manipulated them into situations, that would not dignify the family. I can no longer be part of that behavior. I wish them all the peace and resolution they so deserve. The truth always comes out in the end, and in this case “The truth is better than the spin,”  wrote Garrison in a statement released to the media.

Mark NeJame, then attorney representing George and Cindy, said Garrison demanded money for interviews with the Anthonys, before pocketing the cash for himself.

An invoice released by NBC News shows a $6,500 fee which Garrison charged that news organization, saying it was for the use of family photographs.(source)

FBI Processes Evidence In Caylee Anthony Case

1-agrgatty1Cindy and George Anthony are at home on Hopespring Drive this afternoon after attending Sunday services at Eastside Baptist Church.

FOX 35 was the only crew at the Conway Gardens Road Church this morning, where the Anthonys’ pastor prayed for hope.

This afternoon the family’s attorney Brad Conway and Casey’s lawyer Jose Baez are inside the Anthony home, which investigators declared a crime scene earlier this week after a child’s skeleton was found Thursday less than a half mile away.

The scene where the bones were found on Suburban Drive remains active today, with FBI investigators combing the woods for a fourth day.

Official sources confirm some evidence has already been sent to the FBI lab in Quantico. While investigators won’t say exactly what evidence the FBI is processing, they say the majority of evidence will be sent after they conclude their search of the woods.

Although law enforcement previously expected to be finished searching the area today, officials now say there is no timetable set.

Detectives are they’re tight-lipped on whether any more evidence has been found.

On Thursday, a utility worker found a child’s skull around the corner from the  home of Caylee Anthony, who was two when she went missing in June.

Her mother, Casey Anthony, waited a month to report her daughter missing and has been charged with murder.

Orange County Sheriff’s deputies and the FBI are still combing the area where the skull was found. Orange Sheriff’s spokesman Carlos Padilla wouldn’t say what else has been recovered.

On Saturday, Anthony’s lawyer and his forensic investigators conducted their own investigation at the Anthony family home.

CASEY’S PARENTS MAY EVENTUALLY FACE CHARGES

1-556551Sources close to the case told Eyewitness News that Casey’s parents, George and Cindy, may someday face criminal charges. Sources tipped Eyewitness News off that George and Cindy Anthony checked into the luxury Ritz-Carlton Hotel on Thursday night.

Meanwhile, Eyewitness News has learned the sheriff’s office is looking into charging the Anthonys with obstruction of justice.

Rooms go for about $300 a night at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel and sources say they Anthonys had dinner at Normans on Thursday night, where dinner could cost $100 a person. The Anthonys recently hired attorney Brad Conway to replace Mark NeJame.

Conway could not tell Eyewitness News who is paying for the room, but said the Anthonys needed peace and quiet.

”They want to be left alone. They want to grieve and go through the process without the publicity that’s been focused on them so long,” Conway said.

The Anthonys have spent months insisting Caylee is alive, but with the news of the remains Conway said they are prepared to accept Caylee may be dead.

”They are realistic about the possibilities and about the fact that this is likely Caylee, but continue to pray that likely it’s not,” Conway said.

In the meantime, sources told Eyewitness News investigators are building a case against the Anthonys. They may face obstructions of justice charges.

Conway said he’s talked to the State Attorney’s Office and is not aware of any pending charges and maintains the Anthonys have done nothing wrong.

“Anytime the sheriff’s office cordons your house and serves a search warrant, there are a potential for charges. I don’t know what the sheriff’s office has in mind, but the Anthonys have cooperated fully and will continue to cooperate,” Conway said.

Officials Seek Search Warrant For Home Of Caylee’s Grandparents

photo_servlet1Authorities said on Thursday that they are seeking a search warrant for the Orlando home of a missing 3-year-old girl after a child’s remains were found nearby

Orange County sheriff’s spokesman Carlos Padilla said that investigators cordoned off the home belonging to the grandparents of Caylee Anthony, who lived at the home with her mother, Casey Anthony, although the two often stayed elsewhere

An Orange County water meter reader found the skeletal remains of a child around 9:30 a.m. Thursday in a wooded area near South Chickasaw Trail and Suburban Drive, less than half a mile from the Hopespring Drive home of George and Cindy Anthony, Orange County sheriff’s deputies said.

Orange County Sheriff Kevin Beary confirmed that the skull of a child had been recovered. Deputies said it’s too early to tell if the remains, which were later taken away in a medical examiner’s van, are that of Caylee.

Local 6 News reporter Jessica D’Onofrio confirmed that the remains are likely that of a girl. D’Onofrio said the worker saw the garbage bag, opened it, saw the remains of a child and called 911. The skull was found nearby, and there was duct tape in and around the garbage bag, D’Onofrio reported.

”Deputies did respond to that area, and once we were on the scene, we determined that we do have the remains of a young child. Obviously, our concern is that it’s in close proximity to some recent activity in that part of the county, and it’s incumbent upon us to determine what we have,” said Orange County sheriff’s spokesman Jim Solomons, referring to the Casey Anthony case.

The age and gender of the remains are not known.

The area of the discovery has been blocked off, and FBI agents, along with sheriff’s detectives, continue to investigate the wooded area.

Tim Miller, the leader of EquuSearch, a Texas-based group that has performed numerous searches for Caylee’s body, said he talked with FBI agents, who told him that they believe the remains belong to Caylee.

”It would be inappropriate to speculate,” Orange County sheriff’s Capt. Angelo Nieves said. “Our investigators are on scene, evaluating and processing the situation. It’s very early.”

Nieves said that George and Cindy Anthony have been notified about the discovery.

Leonard Padilla, a bounty hunter who initially bailed Casey Anthony out of jail and searched for Caylee, said, “It’s a bittersweet day.”

”We drove by (the wooded area where the remains were found) dozens of times. We heard that there were searches going on in that area,” Padilla said.

An elementary school is located nearby, forcing officials to devise a plan for getting students home without interfering with the crime scene.

Local 6 News showed buses transporting students from Hidden Oaks Elementary at about 3 p.m. Thursday through the area, which is lined with crime tape.
