silly deranged people

I get really tired of these.  Mostly I get compliments but every so often I get some moron telling me how unprofessional I am.  Let’s all be clear here.  I have never claimed to be “professional”, as a matter of a fact I take great pride in not being professional.

This is from Karen Curtis at State Farm.   Feel free to email her (<karen.curtis.a2a6@statefarm.com) if you want to take a moment and explain to her that it’s not my job to babysit.

From Karen Curtis at State Farm

I have been accessing and reading the site regarding Caylee Anthony since soon after this became public knowledge.  I have to say that Justice4All (aka Nancy) is a VERY rude, condescening individual who is probably driving more commenters away from your site than you are aware of.  I find it absolutely disgusting that you would allow this person to be argumentative and act so superior to all other commenters.  I just wanted to voice my opinion.  I will not be accessing your site again.  There are too many other avenues to get information than this one where one is not attacked verbally for having their own thoughts and opinions.

My Reply

good riddance.  I find it absolutely disgusting that you feel it’s my duty not only to provide all this information for everyone absolutely free, but also to be your personal feelings protector.

Karen Curtis with State Farm just had to spew a little more venom before she left…

Nice response and even more so, what a professional way to run a site???  I take issue with your “running the site for free” as if that is the case, it was your decision to do so.  I don’t think anyone ASKED you to do this.  I will take GREAT pleasure in passing this information along to all of my companions, work associates and anyone in my contacts.  I don’t believe that I ever asked you in my comments to be my “personal feelings protector”.  You are obviously as delusional as some of the other posters mentioned below.  GOOD RIDDANCE TO YOU, this proves to me that you are undoubtably NANCY or one of her cohorts.  Does CRAZY CASEY come to mind?  Maybe you are really Cindy in disguise.  What a disgusting and unprofessional response.  I am now reporting this site to the IWF, Abuse.net, the USDOJ and any other regulatory facility that I can.

I told her I would post here email for all to read.  She said “GO AHEAD”, and that her company would have me like “white on rice”.

There ya go Ms. Curtis, as you wish.  Feel free to have your “company” (state farm) email me.  Apparently, you have my email address.

UPDATE: from Ms. Curtis

Your threat has now been printed and copied for the purposes of evidence.  I will also spend all night long registering complaints with any regulatory agency that I can find.  I cannot believe you threatened me with this. This is totally unconscionable.  You don’t know me, but I will give you a preview.  I will fight to the death for my integrity and I already have someone monitoring the website for any comments that are derogatory towards me.  BE PREPARED.

CASEY’S PARENTS MAY EVENTUALLY FACE CHARGES

1-556551Sources close to the case told Eyewitness News that Casey’s parents, George and Cindy, may someday face criminal charges. Sources tipped Eyewitness News off that George and Cindy Anthony checked into the luxury Ritz-Carlton Hotel on Thursday night.

Meanwhile, Eyewitness News has learned the sheriff’s office is looking into charging the Anthonys with obstruction of justice.

Rooms go for about $300 a night at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel and sources say they Anthonys had dinner at Normans on Thursday night, where dinner could cost $100 a person. The Anthonys recently hired attorney Brad Conway to replace Mark NeJame.

Conway could not tell Eyewitness News who is paying for the room, but said the Anthonys needed peace and quiet.

”They want to be left alone. They want to grieve and go through the process without the publicity that’s been focused on them so long,” Conway said.

The Anthonys have spent months insisting Caylee is alive, but with the news of the remains Conway said they are prepared to accept Caylee may be dead.

”They are realistic about the possibilities and about the fact that this is likely Caylee, but continue to pray that likely it’s not,” Conway said.

In the meantime, sources told Eyewitness News investigators are building a case against the Anthonys. They may face obstructions of justice charges.

Conway said he’s talked to the State Attorney’s Office and is not aware of any pending charges and maintains the Anthonys have done nothing wrong.

“Anytime the sheriff’s office cordons your house and serves a search warrant, there are a potential for charges. I don’t know what the sheriff’s office has in mind, but the Anthonys have cooperated fully and will continue to cooperate,” Conway said.

Attorney Says Body Found Is Similar To Caylee Anthony’s

untitledFormer attorney for George and Cindy Anthony thinks remains are those of Caylee Marie
Attorney Mark NeJame, who once represented Cindy and George Anthony, arrived at the Hopespring Drive address this afternoon to comment on the latest developments.

NeJame learned of the discovery of skeletal remains while in Puerto Rico on a one-day business trip. He was shocked when he heard the news.

“Sadly, it was what was expected,” NeJame said. “I was hoping at some point that Caylee would be found.”

Although the medical examiner has not determined the identity of the remains, NeJame believes they belong to the missing toddler.

“It’s more than a hunch,” he said. “I have had an opinion for a long time. I absolutely believe that it is [Caylee].”

NeJame resigned as the Anthonys’ representative in November because they did not take his advice, he said.

“Everyone hoped that a miracle would occur and that Caylee would show up,” NeJame said, adding that he felt more comfortable expressing his opinions about the girl’s fate now that a body has been found.

Earlier today a man who identified himself only as a private investigator went inside the home. He entered through the garage door and appeared to be in the back yard near the shed. He did not appear to remove anything from the home.

When asked if he was working for the Anthony family, he declined comment.

An Orange County deputy sheriff is stationed outside the family home and a cruiser is blocking the driveway, although sheriff’s officials are done searching the house.

A defense attorney for Casey Anthony said investigators told lead counsel Jose Baez that the body found Thursday near Anthony’s house in east Orange County was “tentatively” identified as Anthony’s missing daughter, Caylee Marie.

During a court hearing Thursday morning, New York attorney Linda Kenney Baden – who is the wife of a renowned medical examiner and a member of the defense team – said Baez was told the body had light-colored hair and the size of the bones appeared to be similar to the 2-year-old.

Judge Denies Access To Unidentified Body Of Child

photo_servlet2An Orange County judge has denied a motion to preserve and protect the body of a small child found in a wooded area of East Orange County on Thursday.  Ninth Circuit Judge Stan Strickland based the ruling on the grounds that the body of the child has yet to be identified.

Shortly after Judge Strickland called to order the emergency hearing on the motion filed by Jose Baez, attorney for Casey Anthony, Baez deferred to a new member of the defense team, Linda Kenney-Baden.

If Linda Kenney-Baden’s name sounds familiar, you may recognize her as an author,  trial attorney and legal commentator who has been involved in other high-profile criminal cases.  She recently represented music producer Phil Spector in a murder trial and offered analysis during the controversy surrounding the death of super model Anna Nicole Smith.   Her husband is forensic expert Dr. Michael Baden of the HBO series Autopsy

Kenney-Baden proceeded to make a case for allowing forensic experts for the defense to review evidence which may or may not implicate Casey Anthony.

Kenney-Baden first introduced a team of experts which would  “see and maybe suggest other things that need to be done” in the examination of the body.

Those experts include Dr. Kathy Reichs, a forensic anthropologist and  bestselling author of crime books, Dr. Werner Spitz, a renowned forensic pathologist and Dr. Timothy Huntington, a board-certified forensic entomologist from the University of Nebraska. “We believe science should be open and we want to make sure that our client’s interests are protected,”  said Kenney-Baden.

The  State Attorney’s Office, along with the representatives for the Orange County Sheriff’s Office and the Orange County Medical Examiner’s Officer argued that the defense should not be allowed those privileges until all crime scene investigative work was complete.

Assistant State Attorney Jeff Ashton presented another reason for not granting the defense access to the body.  “Until this body is determine to be the body of Caylee, the defense has no standing, ” said Ashton.

While there is speculation that the body is that of Caylee’s, tentative identification of the body has not been issued, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

However, Sheriff Kevin Beary said Friday morning on a nationally-televised show that the medical examiner found clues from the remains that in the sheriff’s words were “linked” to the Anthony’s house on Hopespring Drive.  A search warrant was executed early Friday morning.

“I would suggest the Court to not allow something so egregious in allowing strangers to be present during the autopsy of a child,”  said Ashton, adding  “there is no due process to the right of discovery provision in the State of Florida.”

Criminal discovery is the process by which a criminal defendant can get information about their case held by the prosecutor.  The process of “discovering” the information is sometimes referred to as “disclosure.”

Ashton also stated that allowing forensic experts for the defense to offer suggestions to the Medical Examiner, implies interference.

“I’m not even going to get into that morass,” replied Kenney-Baden, who then asked that the defense team be given a time frame as to when crime scene investigation and medical examiner’s work would be complete.

When Judge Strickland inquired about a time frame, a spokesperson for the Orange Co. Sheriff’s Office said no time frame had been set.

“We have no objection to turn over investigation of crime scene to defense, once the Sheriff’s Office is done,” said Ashton.  “Once we’re done, we’re not going to call everybody in and have a party at the crime scene,” he added.

“At this point, it would do nothing but interfere with the medical examiner’s obligation,” the judge said in denying the motion.   He added that the issue would be readdressed once a positive identification of the body could be made.

That could take a while.  Once an autopsy is completed by the Orange County Medical Examiner’s Office, the body will then be sent to Virginia labs of the Federal Bureau of Investigation for DNA analysis.

Police Release 911 Call Made After Remains Found Near Anthony Home

1-homesrchAuthorities on Friday released the 911 call placed shortly after an Orange County utility worker discovered a child’s remains near the home of the grandparents of Caylee Anthony, who was last seen in mid-June

The remains, a skull and clothing were found Thursday by a utility worker who was relieving himself in a wooded area less than a half-mile from George and Cindy Anthony’s house on Hopespring Drive in east Orange County.

A worker is heard on the 911 call saying, “We’ve found a human skull.”

“Oh my gosh,” the operator said.

“I know, ” the worker replied. “A skull of which we believe is human.”

“What’s the location?” the operator asked.

“It’s right off of Suburban and Chickasaw in the Caylee Anthony area,” the worker said.

“Oh,” the operator said.

Caylee’s mother, Casey Anthony, 22, was charged in October with first-degree murder, even though the toddler’s body has not been found. She has insisted that she left the girl with a baby sitter in mid-June, but she didn’t report Caylee missing until mid-July.

Duct Tape Found Stuck To Mouth Of Child’s Remains

1-srch Eyewitness News has learned that duct tape was still stuck to a yet-unidentified young child’s mouth when crews found the remains less than a half-mile from the Anthony home.

The residence on Hopespring Drive was cleared Friday morning as a crime scene, but a private investigator did show up later Friday morning. Investigators were there overnight collecting bags of evidence

Meanwhile, George and Cindy Anthony stayed the night at a hotel.

An emergency hearing in the case started at 11:30am at the Orange County Courthouse. Casey’s attorney, Jose Baez, wants to make sure he has access to the all evidence recovered in the last 24 hours.

If the remains are Caylee Anthony’s, at least one discovery could reveal more about the last minutes of her life.

Investigative teams at the discovery site Friday were taking buckets of dirt from the area where the trash bag and remains were found and were sifting through by hand looking for any other evidence. Investigators were cutting through brush and tree limbs near the scene of the remains discovery looking for fibers and hair. Blue tents were erected and a white sheet was laid out near the search area, likely for investigators to place potential evidence once discovered.

Apparently, the bag the remains were found in was open and in water for sometime, so other evidence might have floated out. Eyewitness News also learned that the child found could have suffered terrifying last moments. Investigative sources told Eyewitness News duct tape was found still stuck to the child’s mouth.

Internationally-respected forensic pathologist Michael Baden told Eyewitness News on Friday that duct tape could have been used to suffocate or silence someone, prevent them from screaming, which means the child could have suffered traumatic injury

The remains that were found are not just bones. There is tissue left, which apparently is what the duct tape is stuck to, and hair. The hair is said to be consistent in color to Caylee’s hair.

Dr. Baden told Eyewitness News the duct tape could not only have preserved some of the evidence because it’s waterproof, but also could contain evidence such as fingerprints on the sticky side of the tape.

Baden said he would expect there to be some hair as well and said the hair, tissue and bone marrow can be tested for chemicals and could hold the answer to whether chloroform or any other chemical was used to kill the child.

Eyewitness News has learned a vacuum cleaner and a pillow were among the items removed from the house. The pillow and vacuum could contain Caylee’s hair and the vacuum could contain Caylee’s hair and fibers and also any residue from any chemicals that might have been used in the case. Investigators also removed pesticides and pool chemicals from the Anthonys’ house, which is less than a half-mile from the discovery scene.
