ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Casey Anthony will spend this Thanksgiving alone, in the Orange County Jail.
Officials say the Anthony family will not visit Casey today, and Casey did not request any visitors or phone calls for the holiday.
Instead, she will dine with other prisoners on turkey and dressing, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables and bread and butter. For dessert, Casey will have a slice of pumpkin spice cake.
We’ve also learned Casey’s father, George Anthony, spent part of his Thanksgiving alone as well.
George was seen driving by himself around downtown Orlando and Winter Park towing his “Where is Caylee billboard.”
Even after new evidence was released to support the theory Casey killed her daughter Caylee, George has continued searching for a live Caylee.

As sad as this whole situation is, the Anthony’s brought this all on themselves. George has become a lost soul.

I actually felt really bad for her when I read the e-mails amongst her family that they were afraid she was suicidal right BEFORE caylee went missing…….maybe in her mind, she really believes her lies, and they are a a survival mechanism for her.
Wonder if Lee will join them today?
I know nothing will make this day any better for the Anthony’s….but just to let them know, they are in my heart and my prayer’s….

If Lee is there the dinner table conversation should be quite lively. Lee can admit to the allegations made by Casey or call her a liar. I wonder if it is true if George was told when it happened?
Maybe LE should have released the new documents after Thanksgiving. This family is certainly reaping what they sowed.
My heart goes out to them all at Dysfunction Junction today. And I am thankful I’m not walking in any of their shoes.
It’s kind of sad they released this stuff yesterday. As much as we all feel anger towards CA and KC this was poor timing at best.

Its a sad day at the Anthony’s I’m sure. I hope they make the best of it and be thankful for something.
You still have Lee and he deserves some of your love and attention too. I hope they have their son over for a very nice dinner. I hope they enjoy their home and make it the rule of the day, not to mention Casey/Caylee, just for one day. One day at a time, that’s what I would do. At some point you have to move on, or you’ll lose your mind. Whatever happened is not in your control and can’t be changed. Let it be and the truth will prevail.
I feel sad hearing George Anthony is driving around aimlessly with his Find Caylee sign on truck, that is heartbreaking and it makes me cry when I read it….even all that has happened and their stance on this case, I still feel so sad for them.
We are only human and no matter what we say here to condemn the Anthonys, especially for Casey, none of it will change the fact Caylee is gone and may never be found.
From one grandparent to another, George and Cindy, I think of the pain you are going through and have to live with forever, you are in my thought’s everyday!

I think all of the items that were released yesterday was timely planned to put pressure on the Anthony Family & tear them apart as it’s doing. I have no remose for this family Holiday or no Holiday, Casey get used to eating behind bars, u will be doing it for a lot longer unless you wise up & get rid of Baez. With out him maybe, just maybe something else could be worked out that coulds still benefit you, but he is out for glory in this case, even your own father HATES him.
Thanks yourturn for taking the time to post this info. on Thanksgiving. Knowing Caylee will never be with her family or have turkey and dressing like everyone else is so very sad. I can’t help but think about her today. I’m sure the food Casey is getting is not exactly gourmet, but i don’t think she deserves to have a holiday meal at all. I’ve never had so much anger directed towards someone I’ve never even met. I pray every day, but especially today, that Caylee is found soon and brought home.

May they come to accept what is the truth about Caylee soon. Today I have set aside some compassion for them all. Tomorrow, or as soon as Cindy opens her mouth with George by her side, the compassion will be gone again.

Today is the beginning of healing for the Anthony family. May the Holy Spirit anoint them each with the fruit of wisdom. May Caylee continue to be the driving force in the hearts of everyone who loves her. Our prayers for closure and a decent burial shall be granted in the Master’s time….not a moment before.
Today is Thanksgiving Day. Tomorrow is Black Friday, and Christmas is yet to come.
If Casey doesn’t show any emotion at all in the next few weeks, then she truly is cold hearted and there is no help for her. Even a Scrooge can be caring and thoughful and Christmastime.
The weeks yet to come will be very hard on George and Cindy. They have lost their granddaughter, Last Christmas was probably the first one where Caylee was excited, and learned about the concept of Santa, so could you imagine that she would be asking about Santa – when is Santa coming? I truly feel for their loss, but I cannot feel for them as long as they do not even consider that there own daughter could have killed that litle Angel (of course… she was probably as much of a terror at times as my three year old – they all have their good and bad moments!)

She was writing bad checks on her best friend and signing her name. This isn’t a crime she could possibly think she’d get away with.
Why isn’t Casey trying to get away?

On this day, I am thankful, and hope that the Anthony’s have found something to be thankful for.
The release of documents should not hinge on a holiday, but maybe just maybe their eyes have been opened about the type of person Casey is. She may or may not be lying about incest, abuse etc… but their is insight of what she may have been thinking or what she had planned and was planning. Casey possibly may have purposely killed their grandchild with a Chloroform recipe or the unthinkable…breaking her neck.
They are not blind nor stupid, but I hope their eyes have been opened…Their daughter meant her family no good, and they should be thankful they are still alive.. But are they really living?
Sometimes you make your own hell and perhaps the Anthony’s have by painting this picture that they are oblivious and that they had no hand in this tragedy, but really they have. We can argue over obstruction, the washing of the pants and the back peddling of George and Cindy, but what can’t be refuted is that their public support of their murderous daughter had created a private hell that both of them share.
I usually don’t have very long post such as this one, but I really feel for them today no matter how angry their antics have made me. I have one suggestion as an outsider looking in.
Stop supporting Casey publicly and privately. Let her know that while you all may not have Caylee physically and have not been able to lie her to rest respectfully and peacefully, you know that she is gone and that you know she had a hand in it and that she is solely responsible. Let her know that her options are few. By cutting her support, she knows you all will no longer make excuses for her and that she has no allies. Let her know that if she wants to ever have peace in this life, she must confess and lie this baby to rest. Once all the doors have been closed in her face, maybe she will have that Ahhh Haaa moment and know that she is no longer enabled but clearly on her own. Let her know she doesn’t have you all snowed, nor does he have anyone else snowed. Be her parents…
Why does Casey go out in public after committing murder?
Most murderers don’t go out in public and have their picture taken, do they?
Casey doesn’t want Caylee found. I wonder why? Casey doesn’t want to get away with murder either. What is the point to this?
Curious, I think her actions after Caylee’s death say everything. SHe was going to party, steal, get tattoo’s and whatever until the charade was up. Cindy may have disrupted her plan to go out with a bang. Maybe she planned to kill herself (Melinda Duckett) or just turn herself in.. Who knows??/ She was spinning out of control and was embracing it. She loved movies especially natural Born Killers. She would get a little attention for killing her child, but when Cindy found Casey, all this was interrupted and mom already called 911 with the “missing” story, so Casey just went along with it. Her details are all wrong, not a thread of truth to anything, this just tells me she was flying by the seat of her pants and didn’t really care what was going to happen to her. Caylee was dead, and she was gonna party like a rock star…
Casey did not expect the nation attention and had researched missing children cases. This was the perfect excuse as to what happened to Caylee… She just wanted this beautiful baby out of her life.

Excellent post Brooke..I am wondering if the Anthonys are not visiting Casey as per their choice or whether Casey is refusing to see them..I had hoped that they would stay away from her and let her marinate in the hell she has caused so many people..but then again if it is Casey’s choice not to see her family then she is one cold heartless person..I keep hoping she will crack at some point and finally reveal where Caylee is..she has been in solitary for over a month..no cell phone/no texting..I would think that alone would make her break down! She has it too good lounging in a cell, getting meals and staying silent when all the while she knows damn well that her daughter is discarded somewhere..Casey is truly despicable and I hope her parents wake up to that fact very soon (unlikely, I know)

Its interesting that you mentioned Casey’s fascination with the movie Natural Born Killers..the actress that had a role in that movie was named Juliette Lewis..that name is also the same one Casey referred to in her interogation by LE..she said she worked with a girl named Juliette Lewis..that is way too coincidental
If Casey wanted to get away with murder she would have dumped the car, dyed her hair, left town and let everyone wonder what happened to not only Caylee but Casey too. Of course, I’m saying this as a logical person in my right state of mind…lol (well maybe)
That at least is a plan. She had no plan. Maybe she has multiple personality disorder. She’s not just a pathological liar. That isn’t even an issue but she has no plan. She could have used Amy’s check book to get out of town by bus and used the fake ID found in her purse. There’s a plan. She could have went to Puerto Rico and got lost or kidnapped. That’s a plan when you want to get away with murder. This whole scenario is ridiculous because there’s no plan.
Every murder has motive or so I’ve heard. What’s her motive? She doesn’t want to be bothered with Caylee anymore. If that’s the case, didn’t her mother say she was seeking full custody? There you go Casey, go live like you want. She could have gave her up for adoption. No one could stop her. What about insurance money? Did Casey have a policy on Caylee? That has never been mentioned. Where’s the motive? Where’s the plan? Thats all I want to know.
Often times, the murderer will return to the scene of the crime – for various reasons & also they think that makes them look “concerned”, “caring” & “innocent”.
Realizing that this has been a most difficult day for George & Cindy, I will opt to take tui’s tack and go with the fact that everyone is human and deserves some compassion.

I think Caylee was murdered and from there, whatever the hell happened, just happened (excuse my FrencH) there was no real plan, Casey hd done the unthinkable and knew it wold catch up with her eventually. She didn’t plan on Cindy tracking her down, and once she did, i believe this story that she may have fantasized in her minds over the month just began to be woven together.
Also, the juliette Lewis thing was soemthing I picked up on also… I don;t think she had a real big plan, it was just bits and pieces. If you read her uncles emails, he even says that Casey pieces together different facts and applies them to her own life whether they are true or not.
eli — I think Casey’s time alone in jail without the fam around is probably easier for her. She doesn’t have to see the pain she’s causing — and I think with her “out of sight is out of mind.”

Fact: Casey lies alot.
The cadaver dogs hit in the backyard of the home. She borrowed a shovel from a neighbor.
She’s driving around with a body in her trunk for at least 2 or 3 days.
She has no alibi and she does nothing to cover her tracks.
I guess we have to believe she wanted to be Juliette Lewis. I don’t remember the outcome of the movie, but it was probably more exciting than this charade.

On another thread you mentioned that you recognize CAs codependent behavior through 12 step program. I know the same.
It is sooo obvious and clear to those who have been there that she has enabled Casey for a long time…then got fed up and went to counseling…her denial and recognition of her own codependent behavior was becoming obvious to her. Then when everything went down with Caylee, she went into even deeper denial. We know that it is her way of coping, but someone needs to get through to her.
She is clinging so hard to all this in an effort to save Casey. Nothing in the world she can do will control that. It is what it is.

Has it been revealed why Casey stormed out of the house? I had heard that her grandmother went off on Cindy about Casey stealing some money from her and when Cindy confronted Casey about it, they had a big fight…good lord..I cant imagine what it must be like for the grandmother..having Cindy for a daughter and Casey for a grandaughter!
very true Blackcat..she gets to avoid facing any of this as she sits in jail..I wish they would put her in general population so she could feel the wrath of other inmates who would probably love nothing more than to let her know just what they think of her.

The whole sham of their lives came crashing down the night that Cindy confronted Casey with stealing from her grandparents. It was the first time that Cindy did not defend Casey or make excuses. That is because Cindy was going to counseling and finally coming to terms with what she had to do to get well herself and do what was best for Casey,,,,telling the truth and not glossing over everything. This was a total shock to Casey…she saw some new behavior in her mother..and she could not handle it.
Unfortunately, under the stress of Caylee being gone has brought back all Cindy’s old behaviors only worse. She is in such deep denial, that she cannot get out now. George is codependent, too. He is complicit in helping Cindy maintain her fantasy life and denial, not knowing that he is doing the worst thing he can do. He is afraid she will crack under the truth…and he may be right. But he has to save himself and his own sanity before it is too late.
I am just in complete sock after reading even “some” of the discovery, That famliy has alot of secuts and skeltons, Casey didnt have a chane and either did caylle. CA and GA need serious metal help.oh i also cant forget Lee. Sick family.
I believe Casey sees her mother on the television daily making up these ridiculous sightings and allegations. It does nothing but give her pleasure. She is finally able to stck it to her mother. If Cindy came on tv tomorrow saying they want Caylee to be found to give her a proper burial, Casey;s head would probably spin off her body! She would no this woamn is no longer making a fool of herself to protect her and it would sink in… Her protector is no longer protecting her. Her mother would be upstaging her again. Cindy ‘approval rating” would go up and this would piss her off.
I feel really bad for George, he probably had to get out of that house on this day and I’m sure the sadness of not seeing Caylee across the table with a mouth full of dressing or mashed potatoes saddened him to no end. He can’t pretend on this day, that magnet just happens to be on his car. He probably feels that he can’t hold up Cindy and be her rock on this day. He can’t put the ridiculousness of their stories of a live Caylee today out of his head, he knows (and so does Cindy) but probably feels he has little to be thankful for. Cindy and George are 2 different people with 2 different mechanisms for coping. Hers is denial, and his is bottled until her explodes. I just hope he does no harm to himself.
I feel compassion because this situation is horrendous, but Cindy has got to cut the charade. SHe herself needs help and keeping this charade up is wearing on her, it is evident. i would just feel more compassion for her if she cut the BS. I feel that she knew exactly what she meant on the 911 call. There was a dead body, she knew it was Caylee’s and the statement “we lost her” speaks volumes. She didn;t say Caylee’s been kidnapped, or “Caylee’s dissapeared” she said lost. Think about if a loved one is sick and dies in a hospital, dr’s always say we did what we could but we lost him or her. Casey confessed before the cops arrived at the home. Cindy and George just wanted to see where to go next and decided that protecting Casey was the only way. Caylee was gone, protect what they have left.

I look into my logic and try to apply it to her. Maybe that’s where I’m lost. A murder of a child is so brutal and all we can do now is speculate reasons.
I’ve read over 20 true crime books. My main objective in reading them are the motive or the reason. Some are just diabolical killers. Some do it for retaliation of some sort. But most, if not all try to get away with it, and thats what I don’t see here. She wants to be in prison, maybe the retaliation is toward Cindy. She wants to hurt the entire family and will die doing it.

Yeah Dee, It happened and she felt she could spin it into the Casey show, only she’d handle it better then her friend Melinda Duckett. Her mom jumped in the spotlight and took it over as she always did everything when it came to Casey. She was formulating a plan but had not tweaked it. It seems like she was on pure adrenaline, and Cindy showing up at Tony’s made the wheels start rolling before she put the plan fully in drive. She wasn’t trying to get away with anyhting because she was caught off guard and had to hit the ground running.

Dee she was probably fantasizing a life with no Caylee, then one day it happened. We can’t forget the searches on her computer. It was all fantasy until she made it reality when it was unintentional, and accident or a purpident (as I call it) meaning to do it but not whole heartedly. There is no justification in killing Caylee.. I just think it happened because she had this huge imagination (lies a lot) and one day made it a reality. Her behavior says it all .. She was riding it until the wheels fell off…

Have you read any of Ann Rule’s true crime novels? I can never put one down once I start reading..she has profiled many murder cases including Diane Downs (another case of a mother murdering her child) and Ted Bundy..if she takes on the process of writing about Casey’s case that book would be as thick as an encyclopedia
I think weather Geroge likes it or not his testominy will really help put casey away. CA goes up on the stand if she lies under oath the way she does now well her nd casey will be sharing a cell. I dont know how much more LE will take from cindy.
Eli, I hope soon that the Anthony’s jump ship and leave her high and dry especially because of incest and abuse allegations. The release of these documents have opened the door for them to say Casey is a huge liar and we need everyones help in finding Caylee and putting her to rest. If Michelle Bart was a smart PR person, they would release a statement tomorrow to this effect.
It should read like this:
After disturbing mistruths have been brought up in the release of the newest documents, We believe that our daughters issues are much deeper than we originally thought. We are very concerned about the fate of our granddaughter and would like to take this opportunity to say we now believe Caylee is gone, most likely by the hands of the person that was slated to be her caretaker and protector. We will cooperate fully with any agency in bringing Caylee home and prosecuting the responsible party to the fullest extent of the law.

From what I understand from Jesse, Lee and others, Casey has never had her mother’s approval on anything. So why now? If Cindy would go on live television and admit to being a controlling mother, say I forgive Casey, etc. Maybe then we would get the truth.

I bet Casey has adapted very well by now. It’s amazing how people adjust to prison. I mean it wasn’t like she left such an amazing life.
To me her life was kind of pathetic. Living at home with a demanding, control freak mother, with a child she really knew she couldn’t raise(and had no choice), dragging the poor child every where she went, lying to everyone, stealing money to cover her lies, etc. etc.
Sounds like a lot of work to me….it didn’t look like the “good life” to me. Nothing that I’m envious of.
In my heart I feel if they even find her guilty and give her death, she won’t bat an eye. She’s a very sad person whose lived a lie. She’s sick, she’s a sociopath and more than likely IMHO an incest victim considering the promiscuity and lack of self respect that she has portrayed so openly.
Maybe this is her motive, she may have been thinking she was protecting Caylee from the same. Therefore in her sick mind, she is safe. Especially, if G & C were threatening Casey with getting full custody of Caylee.

I some what agree dee, I dont know what to think yet about the incest stuff, I believe casey said that but did it happen ?? Possible yes, but I have to think about this more considering the source. Lee might have known thisn was coming and thats why hes been missing himself for this time.

Oh yes! I love Anne Rule, I’ve read many of her books.
But I read anything I can find on true crime, its like a hobby. My mother got me into this starting with JFK, to the Boston Strangler, Stegler (not sure of his name now) The guy who killed all of the nurses in Texas.
Just alot..thats all I can say. Reading fiction bores me to death. Although I do like some of Steven King’s stuff.
Motive? it is there…you just have to read between the lines. There have been multiple hints and Cindy knows exactly why…she just won’t say because she knows it is motive.
George has already said that Casey resented that Cindy held Caylee first…and threw that up many times.
Casey said in her first interrogation by LE that when she supposedly talked to Caylee on the phone the day before her arrest that Caylee was not upset at hearing her voice…She started to say and was interrupted, “If it had been my mom…..it would have been different.”
She added that it didn’t matter how long it had been since Caylee had seen Casey, she never got upset.
What she was saying was, Caylee loved my mother more than me and did not see me as her mom. It is all about her hatred for her mother. AND, wanting to be free. She did not want to give custody to Cindy of her daughter, but she Casey, did not want the responsibility, either. It was her only way out and was also a way of getting even with her mother.
Yes, Nancy Grace had her “special” tonight. It put the timeline of the first 24 hours (of Caylee reported missing) in perspective, which helped me a lot. Not a lot of new information – but we found it informative nonetheless. It reminded us of facts long forgotten by many.
Tomorrow night will be a follow-up to tonight’s show – and most likely will be the same – putting the facts in a way that many people, who do not normally follow the case, in a contructive way.

What you wrote was very eloquent and exactly what the Anthonys should do..when do they draw the line and say enough is enough..Lee is their child too..are they going to allow allegations aout him and have him dragged through the mud too? I am not sure if those allegations were in fact alleged towards Lee but there has been some reference to that.Protecting Casey has done nothing for them but continue to give them heartbreak..they are left to deal with this tragedy while Casey lounges in jail oblivious to it all (probably reading up on true crime novels and getting some ideas for her defence)..its time the Anthonys stop defending Casey and start respecting Caylee and fighting for the truth of where she is and stop this charade.

Thanks Brian..I just read an article on the case where it lists several people who could be Caylee’s father and Lee is also included in that list..one part of the article that blew my mind is that George and Cindy did not know Casey was pregnant for 7 months..and when asked at a wedding they attended if Casey was pregnant..apparently Cindy insisted her daughter was still a virgin! There is a photo of Casey standing there with Cindy at the wedding and it is clearly obvious (to anyone but Cindy) that Casey was very pregnant.

I really don’t care about what George, Cindy or Lee are doing at this momemt. Really, I don’t. Everyone has their reasons for doing whatever they do.
It’s too much for me to process their reasons and what part does it play in finding a missing child.
I’m not trying to pretend that I’m a expert in anything but as I said earlier: I’ve read alot of true murder stories. None come even close to this.
Why would I or anyone think its so outrageous to believe that Casey was an incest victim? I haven’t even read the report yet and I’m saying this. The typical signs are there. Physical or sexual abuse victims tend to lie and live out a life as someone else. They are in protective mode. If they become someone else, they can edit their life anyway they want. I’m not wealthy, I have 3 grown children, and I never knew anyone to have a “nanny”, they had a babysitter.
I could go on, but we all have heard the lies. My point is, there is something very wrong with this girl. If there isn’t a kidnapper, then she needs serious help. Maybe Baez should go for the insanity defense so she would never be allowed out in society again. Follow me. No logical plan, no motive, no body. She could be found not guilty and be out in 5 years. OMG. If she’s found insane, there is no date for her release.

On another post, trustengod said she believes timer55 means the countdown for Casey for when she would reveal what happened to Caylee. I thought that made sense as to why Casey said 31 days and not one month. There’s a method to Casey’s madness. Count 55 days from the 16th being day one. It takes you to August 9th. Caylee’s birthday is the 9th or 10th. Casey planned to live life beautifully until then. She didn’t care if she would be sent to prison. Her goal was to really hurt her mother but good – take her over the edge. What could be worse than to reveal Caylee’s demise on her 3rd birthday, which would utterly destroy her parents? I don’t think she planned to do this before she killed Caylee, but since she blames her mother and despises her so, she devised this timer55 plan after the deed. She does do things by code but it was for her mother to figure out, not LE or us, the public.
I don’t believe the incest story and I am highly skeptical of Casey’s claims of abuse by Lee and George. Casey is a master manipulator, and look at the situations she was in when she made those claims and to whom she made them.
Casey got pregnant sometime at the end of November 2004. She briefly dated Jesse Grund at the end of January 2005. At her uncle’s wedding in early June 2005, she was heavily pregnant but Cindy told the uncle that Casey told them she couldn’t be pregnant because she’d never had sex. She apparently fessed up shortly after the wedding and went to a doctor (in July 2005 according to the uncle). She immediately sent Jesse a text message saying she was pregnant and he was the father. She spread the word all summer long to all her friends that Jesse was the father. When Caylee was born on August 9, 2005, Casey was furious that Jesse wouldn’t allow his name to be on the birth certificate because he wanted a paternity test. The paternity test wasn’t done until October 2005.
So in September 2005, Casey told Jesse that Lee had tried to sexually abuse her. IMO, this was a calculated accusation meant to bring out all of Jesse’s male protective instincts because Casey knew that the paternity test would reveal that Jesse was not Caylee’s father. It was a preemptive move to elicit his sympathy for Casey and her baby daughter.
Casey’s claim that George was abusive (but apparently she didn’t say in what way) was told to her new boyfriend Tony and his roommate, Nathan. At the time Casey made the accusation about George she was living full time in their apartment and couldn’t go home because Caylee was dead. She had already told everyone that the Anthony home was a poor environment for Caylee and Casey and claiming George to be an abusive father would, just as with her sexual abuse claim against Lee, bring out all their protective instincts so they wouldn’t tell her she had overstayed her welcome. To that same end, she was doing all the cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc. in an attempt to be indispensible.
As I see it, she made those claims very selectively to men she was greatly dependent on at the time and whose goodwill and protection she was trying to elicit.

After giving this much thought…………Casey resented her freak mother for what she did and didn’t do…..Cindy held Caylee first after her birth(resentment #1…..before that Casey didn’t even want a baby—Cindy did(resentment#2)…..Cindy was/is the boss of the family(#3….She saw how weak George is and how Cindy controlled him so in Casey’s mind she felt he doesn’t count anyways so she craps on his head just like the queen bitch)……..Cindy always told her(Casey) what a loser she is(#4 resentment)…….Cindy throws her AND Caylee out of the house(#5 big resentment)…..Now,Casey and Caylee are for the most part,homeless….Casey knowing in her twisted mind that Caylee was really Cindy’s child has to lash out—–what better way for one sick bitch to stick it to the other? “Goodbye Caylee,now my mom can’t have you and control me because now I have only to look out for myself.” ….That’s it–that’s my summation of how this tragedy occured.Only problem for Casey is she didn’t get away like she wanted to—BUT in her (Casey’s)twisted mind no matter what happens now doesn’t matter–she got her revenge on the queen bitch.Death to Casey wouldn’t matter–I firmly believe that.Maybe in a way she wishes she’d get deep sixed–after all she’s been dead most of her life. Makes perfect sense, MauraL. Alot of times we can think Casey is telling the truth about something for once. I know I have. Casey craved attention of the sympathy kind. I could tell by the way she talked about her parents in previous released texts and phone calls. When she was released from jail and slept in her mommy’s room with a teddy bear she was seeking sympathy. Acting like a child is part of the psychosis she has. Even when she had nightmares at Tony’s she said she was worried about their relationship. She has an unhealthy need for other’s care of her.
What did Cindy think Casey was doing for money during those 31 days? George knew for two years that Casey didn’t have a job…that means no income. And I don’t believe for a minute that Cindy believed that Casey was in Jacksonville working. And what’s with Cindy looking at her notes and talking to the FBI about Casey working in Jacksonville. Casey had already taken LE to Universal and admitted that she didn’t have a job. HELLO, Cindy.
I would have been so worried that my grand daughter wasn’t eating properly or sleeping somewhere safe I wouldn’t have waited until till the “dead body in the damn car” to go looking for Caylee. The hell with Casey; at any cost C and G should have protected Caylee.

In numerous e-mail correspondences that occurred between August 11 and August 22 between Cindy Anthony and her brother, Rick Plesea, the two discuss Caylee’s disappearance. Plesea repeatedly accused Casey Anthony of killing Caylee and asked his sister to provide proof that the babysitter Casey Anthony referred to actually existed.
“Your ignorance is intolerable. I am your brother and I demand to know if anyone other than Casey has seen this stupid sitter. If you can’t answer that simple request then you are by yourself on this. You need to get some psychiatric help,” Plesea wrote.
In Cindy Anthony’s response, she wrote, “There is a sitter. We have people tracking her, the OCSD is not doing their job, but we have other sources who are.”
Cindy Anthony also refers to unreleased evidence in several of the e-mails. She told her brother there is information that the media does not know.
In one response, Cindy Anthony writes that, “We cannot come out with other evidence until Caylee is safe.”
In another she said, “There’s a lot you guys don’t know and we cannot say. I can assure you I am not mad at you but the facts cannot be released for many reasons.”

I’m busy busy reading the documents. In one of the LE pages, it states that on July 24th, George Anthony called and asked to speak to LE away from Cindy. He came in and the paper states that the conversation was surreptitiously recorded. This means secretly! So we were all speculating the other day about Cindy saying they didn’t know they were being recorded. Maybe they didn’t know. But I’m sure it’s lawful for LE to record without notification if they stated it in their documents.

The only other thing I might add is that Casey was going to do away with her parents also but was interrupted because the grandparents wanted to see Caylee and wouldnt let up. I also dont believe Lee or George molested her in any way.
Her behavior is self serving and she only thinks about Casey. If the Grandparents were gone, who would be looking for Caylee. Not the family members who seem to be estranged.!!

This is not supposed to be a personal attack on each other, I thought we were here typing to figure out what could had happened to an amazingly pretty little girl,, If you guys only knew the other person on the screen, you might have some empathy, compassion and understanding of what you do to them. After all we are not just what we type. So please back off of me, and others that you don’t personally know. There is a very good chance that within the next year or two I won’t be able to use my arms at all….just remember that the next time you feel it necessary to comment to me. How does one know that she was abused by her father and brother? Is this fact or just thoughts? I don’t think anyone can say that about someone unless it is true. I was abused by my brother when I was younger, he is 3 yrs older then me. It is not something to joke about it is something to take seriously. Being abused by a family member or anyone always stays with you and without therapy you can really let it get to you and control your life. So, IF she was abused and didn’t seek help then MAYBE she is acting the way she is because of it. Unless you have been there it’s hard to explain the feelings you feel and how it can really mess your head up IF you let it.

I am truly sorry to read about what you experienced & I understand about what you are saying that MAYBE that is why Casey is acting as she does . . . but to me the bottom line is no matter what you have endured in your life it NEVER EXCUSES A WRONG DONE . . . we have become a HUGE society of excuses, we seriously need to start punishing the ACTION & not letting things be done because of an “excuse”.
My Mother grew up during the Depression, was placed in an orphange for quite a few years, when removed she had a horrible abusive Step-Mother who had the natural Father disown my Mother. My Husband was placed in the system at the age of 4 years & received major abused from his Foster Families for the 13 years he had to endure. I myself was molested at the age of 8 & raped at the age of 11.
None of us are perfect, that is for sure but as well NONE of us have let these experiences make excuses for ANY of our actions. My Mother is a very fine & giving individual who NEVER violently disciplined any of her children/grandchildren. My Husband has not once physcially or verbally abused me or our children ( we have been married for over 21 years ). I myeslf have not gone about sexually abusing others & have become a strong advocate on this matter.
I am not saying you are saying this, so please do not take it in this manner . . . I am predicting many individuals ( including the Anthony’s & their lawyers ) will try to make these pleas. And I have had it with our society being this way! This is not an improvement & justice is never performed!

I am sorry for what happened for you in life and it does sound as if you have made a choice to overcome the challenges of abuse.
The comments people are making are not based on guesswork but alledged remarks made by KC to Jesse Grund and Anthony Lazzario. These comments are documented in the latest documents released on Wednesday.
These comments. in combination with her behaviors, LA refusal to provide DNA without subpeona plus the Anthony family refusal to take a polygraph cause one to speculate as to whether, this one time, KC may have been providing some portion of truth.
I do not think that anyone can be positive this is true just like we cannot say for sure that she murdered her child with chloroform or drowned her in the pool. Something is wrong with her and we are trying to understand what it is. Maybe this is the AAAAHAAAA moment that Biez has been talking about.
Perhaps he is suggesting that once we get a look at how horrible the family was toward KC and how they abused her we will understand that she was “as much a victim as Caylee.” I don’t believe that you, Holly, me or many others will ever understand or allow anything to justify what happened to Caylee at the hands of her mother, regardless of life circumstances.
We may have a bit of sympathy and demand that if she was abused that the perpetrator of that abuse pay for their actions along with KC.

The fact KC’s googles were mixed with sites of missing children show me Caylee was always her target, not her father or brother. It is possible that Casey is a victim, but she has no defense for murdering Caylee!!!!

I have to agree with MauraL’s assessment as to why Casey said what she said about the incest. I, too, was sexually assaulted by a family member and you are right about it staying with you and the need to seek professional help for it.

Jadan, I’m with you on correcting people for typos and misspelled words. I have a friend whose only fault is that she wants to correct my pronounciations. I suffer from TIAs, mini-strokes, and sometimes I mispronounce a word that I know fully well how to say. Drives me nuts sometimes. DQ- I don’t know, which story should one believe, that he killed her, or now, sold her into a sex trade. But, Vandersloot did throw his father under the bus, and many have always believed his father was the reason he was never prosecuted. Natatlie’s parents must be so torn, they have already resolved in their hearts that she is dead. Now, a possibility she is alive. I wish Vandersloot would take a polygraph!!! If indeed it was ever firmly proven that Vandersloot was telling the truth, as a parent, I would want to know and find out if she is still alive. So, I would almost want to offer immunity for Vandersloot’s full assistance in finding Natalie.

DQ-I knew offering immunity would not be a popular suggestion with Vandersloot. But, how on earth are they going to find Natalie if this is true. And, I would only offer such if he took and passed a polygraph with an examiner with credentials. But, I am not convinced he is even telling the truth with the newest interview. Do you know if Natalies’s parents have responded to this? This must be a nightmare and a blessing for them, the thought that she may have always been alive.
We have all heard stories of young women you have been held captive for years right here in the good old U.S.A. So, it is possible. So scary to imagine!!!!!
Being abused-sexually, physically or emotionally does not justify murder. Everyone has painful incidences in their lives-some more than others but the difference between murderers and heroes is not lack of challenges and sorrow. A hero will be determined that having experienced sorrow themselves they will make sure not to hurt anyone else because they know what it’s like. A murderer uses his or her sorrow to inflict pain on others. Regardless of whether she was abused or not Casey is not a victim. She is the incarnation of pure evil.
Was solid evidence ever found in Natalie’s case to prove she is dead? I don’t recall. This case is not like Caylee’s, with a crime scene and forensic evidence. For example, Elizabeth Smart, which CA likes to point out returned home safely. In the Smart case, there was a witness to the kidnapping ( her sister), and no physical evidence that pointed to death. CA doesn’t like to pint that out. Smart was missing for 8 months before being sighted by a person while she walked down the road with her capture.

The “half brother” refers to a child of one of the several men that Casey and Cindy have said is the father of Caylee’s. This particular story says this man is supposedly married now and has a child who is Caylee’s half brother.

IIRC, Cindy gave that particular story in the interview with Greta, in Caylee’s bedroom in the Anthony home. The father Eric is the story she gave in the early August police interview. Then there is the father who died in the car accident story.

I think it was just Tuesday night in her yard where Cindy gave that interview telling the story about the pants. She flat out lied.

We did watch the Nancy Grace special last evening – it was done in good format & good taste. Some things were mentioned that we had forgotten about – namely, Casey did not only take detectives to the Saw Grass appts. in defending her “lie” about where Zenaida lived (or had taken Caylee), but also Casey took detective to TWO other complexes – including a retirment village. We had forgotten that.
We thought part #1 of the special was pretty good. So, we’re gonna watch part 2 this evening.

The Pants
Cindy claims in her “hairbrush” interview and has said this before, that she “asked” law enforcement if she could wash the pants and they said yes. LE claims she called and told them she had washed the pants, did they want them. At the time, LE said no not if they had been laundered. In her early August interview, LE confirmed with her that she had removed the pant and washed them. They said they would like to have them anyway at this point. They asked her to bring them to their office which she agreed to do. She did not do this and did not return their phone calls for several days. LE got a search warrant to get the pants.
Cindy also said in her “hairbrush interview” again.. that LE is welcome to come into her home to take anything they want. Funny. they keep having to get warrants to retrieve evidence they have asked for.
Also remember in her interview, Yuri confronted her for not giving him the credit card statements. She said she had looked at them and there was “nothing on them”. Again, she is purposely withholding evidence.
Wonder why CA and GA didn’t answer Casey’s flurry of calls.

Sheila: I can’t tell from Yuri’s narrative about the pants—did she wash them in the first 24 hours? When they were frantically trying to get the word out about Caylee? Yuri doesn’t give actual dates there, but talks about retrieving the car and not wanting the washed pants all in the same portion of the narrative. He also talks about collecting the laptop with no date, so I can’t tell for sure if the pants issue was at the same time as the car being impounded or not.

I’m not sure on that either. I don’t think Cindy has ever been specific about when she actually washed the pants. I’m gonna look around and see if I can tie it all together. Regardless, I suspect she may have seen some type of stains on the pants and knew she had to get rid of it. She does admit they smelled like smoke and the odor in the car. She knows what type of evidence could have been on those pants.

here’s a tidbit I found: This is the basis LE is relying on to prove Casey did the deed on June 16th per Pipitone. One- flurry of phone pings, two- Casey’s 80 minute phone call to Tony L. and multiple text msgs. and three- the video of Casey and Tony at Blockbuster later that evening renting the movie “Untraceable”

The “we” means my husband and I. We also suspect that George and/or Cindy did some “cleaning up” of the trunk upon the return of the car to the Anthonys; however, nothing they did could get rid of that smell of decomposition.

On the pants, Cindy actually said in her hairbrush interview that she asked LE if she could wash the clothing that came from the bags at Tony’s house cuz they smelled like smoke, I was mistaken. However, in LE interview, in the summary part, LE says she called and told them she had washed the pants, she did not ASK them if she could. IMO, she tied the pants into the clothing from the bags and washed it all. Kind of like the hairbrush, sneaky stuff to mislead everybody. Regardless, she agreed to give them the pants, lied about getting permission to wash them, then refused to give them up without a search warrant.
Hope LE has the contents of the vacuum cleaner bag, unless it’s a bagless cleaner and was just emptied in the garbage after it was used.

LE must arrest Cindy for obstruction and tampering with evidence. George was in LE and that is why Cindy sent him off to work that day and said she would take care of things at home. She knew she was washing away evidence and misleading LE, but she will lie to protect Casey. If LE doesn’t arrest her we will see many more cases in which parents tamper with the evidence to protect their kids.

Friends said Casey was “annoyingly giddy” two weeks after investigators believe Casey murdered Caylee because her boyfriend, Tony Lazzaro was returning to Orlando after a trip home to New York for the Fourth of July weekend. Lazzaro told investigators that Caylee was “great” but he did remember telling Casey that he wanted to have sons, because his little sisters taught him how tough it is to raise girls.
Investigators also found Casey’s doodlings, writing her name as Lazzaro’s wife, with hearts in the script.
I agree Zak, a friend of mine disagreed with me on the hairbrush and felt it meant nothing in the scheme of things. I disagree totally. Cindy has intentionally withheld and destroyed evidence and she needs to be charged for it. She is not above the law because she’s lost a grandchild. She needs to be held responsible for her actions just like her daughter does. I’ve given her alot of free passes on things because of the situation, but they’ve run out, she’s breaking the law.

It scares me to think that if LE doesn’t hold Cindy responsible what we will see in the future. This case has been national news; every criminal and his/her family is waiting to see how LE and prosecutors handle this. Will they arrest and prosecute? I always wonder what’s going on with Lee. i got chills when i was listening to his interview with LE and after he described the smell in the car, he chuckled. It was weird and gave me the creeps. He could not have been raised in the family’s dynamics and escaped unharmed, I believe we’ll learn some more about Lee as this goes to trial, we’ll see…..
ANTHONY: I found out that she wasn`t where she said she was. I found out that Caylee was not in the city that she said she was and so when I found her and Caylee wasn`t with her like she had told me she was with her for the last month, then, you know, I asked her, “Well, let`s go get her because I miss her. I want to go see her. I want to bring her home so she can sleep in her bed.”
And I guess a little bit of tone in Casey`s voice, “no, mom,” you know, she was pretty persistent and insistent, and then I got a gut feeling that — I just knew something was wrong and Casey couldn`t tell me.
Lee definitely laughed during inappropriate places in the interview. Very strange person. He pulled some of his youtube videos after I commented on them in this blog. One video was of him standing by a squirrel that was climbing up a tree. He was pointing at the squirrel with his head. THere were no words in the video. Very strange- like a message to someone.

If i was the parent of a missing child, I would be very angry that the Anthonys are still getting so much media attention. I would not participate in a vigil of this type. THeir daughter, Casey, killed Caylee; Caylee is not a missing person that can be returned alive. There is too much evidence to prove that. It is time for the Anthonys to be respectful of other people and their feelings. The media needs to get the spotlight on another family- a family that has a chance to find their LOVED one.Caylee wasn’t loved by her family, or this wouldn’t be happening. In the text messages between Casey and Tony, do you notice how much he’s pressuring her to come see him. He’s threatening to end the relationship if they don’t see each other on a more regular basis. This may have been when Casey really started to resent her mother. But why wouldn’t she just tell her mother she had a date and be able to go out on a date, perfectly normal for a single 22 year old Mom living at home. Why the lies, why didn’t her parents know she had met this guy. Was Cindy so controlling that Casey was not allowed to have a social life. Something was wrong in that house, they never brought friends over. I have teenagers and they live at my house. I know all of my kids friends. Tony Ruscciano was fired from LE because he lied regarding his relationship with Casey. He was the one that constantly text messaged her to come and she wasn’t able. THis is also the timeframe when the “snot nose” comment was made by Casey.
Tony Lazzaro was a DJ/promoter. He only wanted boys because his sisters were too much trouble to care for. He liked Caylee.
Casey didn’t admit to Cindy that she was pregnant until she was 7 months.
I have never heard that Casey didn’t want to go through with the pregnancy. She did want to give Caylee up for adoption, though. One of Casey’s friends that was unable to have children wanted to adopt Caylee and Cindy said NO.

Actually, I wouldn’t be surprised if there was an agreement between Cindy and Casey in the beginning when Caylee was born that Cindy would provide for Casey and Caylee’s needs as long as Casey babysat (was the nanny). June 13 Friday Roy House, Lazzaro’s roommate says he saw Caylee on June 13 at the Fusion bar with her mother, when Casey attended a party thrown by House and Lazzaro. It was noted because several people noticed and commented that it was inappropriate to have Caylee there.

So. It looks like more and more. Just read Ricks emails to Cindy. Wow. Disfunction Junction. I cannot imagine anybody I know talking that way to their brother or sister. But then again….

Lots of people expressing sympathy for the Anthonys. I would say this. Save your compassion. They were disfunctional on July 15 and again on Thanksgiving. They will soon be just as disfunctional on Christmas.
In my heart I cannot find sympathy for murders and those that enable murders on regular days let alone holidays.

Jeanne, I totally agree with you. Baby Caylee deserves our sympathy, our caring. The A’s deserve nothing. Here’s hoping they are so embarrassed about the lies they’ve told, which are pretty much all out there now in the form of those revealed papers, that they are going to stay in that house, dive under the covers and try to figure a way to get killer to tell the truth.

“There were no clothes in there like there would be. There was a couple of diapers in there, her toothbrush, a couple hair things,” said Cindy Anthony. “And then maybe some wipes and that was it. Which is unusual cause their backpacks are usually full to the brim and usually books, toys, clothes.”
If Lee did take the backpack before the police were called then he is obstructing justice..I wonder if LE had a subpoena to search his residence, car etc or if they ever found the backpack? God knows what was in that backpack and it could very well have some damning evidence in it..if Lee did in fact dispose of it, hide it etc..then he is thinking more of his sister than doing what is right for his niece..This family is truly sickening
We have said this before. What bothers us most (my husband and I because we are both invested in this case), is that from the very beginning LIES were being told & evidence destroyed – not only from Casey, but from Cindy & Lee.
So now we see the transcripts & evidence coming out, and we just cannot believe that Casey & Cindy & Lee have gotten away with these lies.
Now, we have Casey behind bars (which is a true blessing to this case & where she belongs); yet Cindy & Lee (and even George) are out there free and still lying. See, we don’t get that part.
Can law enforcement or the FBI do anything about that? Can Cindy & Lee be held accountable for obstruction of justice?

I’ve racked my brain at work today..a little bit and this is a theory I have come up with. (unlikely i’d hope but who knows??)
Lee could in fact be Caylee’s biological father. He had to be subpoena’d to turn over DNA.. Why if he didn’t help dispose of the body or harm Caylee? LE could run a test and find out if he was the bio dad fairly quickly.
Cindy Anthony did not turn over the brush that was used exclusively for Caylee. Any hair in that brush could hinder or cause confusion which I’m sure was intentional on her part.
George and Cindy did not know Casey was pregnant supposedly even at 7 mos… because she was a virgin (whatever)
Then there is Casey… if she told her parents she was a virgin and was not pregnant, this could be because of the incestuous relationship she did not see it as sex.
I know this is out there but this family is weird and I think they are trying to cover up more than the murder of their grandchild. They don’t seem to really want her found…
If LE and authorities have DNA samples they know if a family member fathered Caylee. This gives them insight about what type of sickos they are dealing with.
Casey had better wise up. If anything happens to George and Cindy she has no family other than Lee left. The rest of her life she will have no parents..nobody that care about her. Gone is gone.
I am suprised that in jail she has not found Jesus and seen the light. That usually happens..
I think Cindy’s brother is frustrated — I’m sure everytime Casey did something, Cindy promised “it wouldn’t happen again” if they would only forgive Casey and let Cindy handle it.

Well Baez has shut Casey up. Nobody can shut Cindy up so maybe the old saying “give them enough rope and they will hang themselves” is true. We shall see.
It is all so sad and I teter about who all are victims besides Caylee.. If by some miracle she were still living I’d pray to God that they would not return her to her Grandparents. Cindy is gone and George… I think he’s keeping up appearances for Cindy’s sake.

Someone mentioned Timer55 and if you count from June 16th, the day she went missing to her exact birthday 8-09… It is exactly 55 days. Something tells me it was deliberate and was a way to get back at Cindy. Timer 55 was for Cindy to figure out, not LE as was mentioned last night.

I don;t believe george was abusive or fathered Casey. I recently read a story about a father that fathered 9 children with his own daughter and I believe 7 of the children had deformities and handicaps.

God only knows how hard it is to follow Cindy’s stories, but Casey never really said she was in Jacksonville working. She said she was in Jacksonville visiting Jeff Hopkins on a vacation.
Here is the rough summary of Casey’s explanations from June 16 through July 15 as given by Cindy to the FBI:
Cindy said Casey was going to work for a few hours on June 16 and would be returning (George said that when Casey and Caylee left at 1:60p, she told him she had a late night and she and Caylee would be staying with Zanny). Casey called Cindy later to say she had to work late and she and Caylee would be crashing at Zanny’s. This stretched into June 17.
Then Casey said they were going to be at the Hard Rock Hotel on June 18 and 19. Then on Saturday, June 20 they went to Busch Gardens (she may have told Cindy they were staying at the Marriott). Casey told Cindy they were going to stay for the weekend (Saturday and Sunday) because Zanny and the rest were going to go to the local parks. They were supposed to return on Monday, June 23.
On June 23, Casey said she would be coming home. But Casey called around 5:30p and said she was sorry and they wouldn’t be coming home. Casey was upset because Zanny and her roommate, Raquel, had been in an accident on Interstate 75 (possibly) and were on their way to the hospital. Casey, Juliet, Caylee, and Annabelle were following the medics. Casey said Juliet took the two girls back to the hotel and checked in again because they were all be staying over since Zanny was in the hospital.
So they stayed in Tampa again on June 23. Zanny’s mother was supposed to be on her way but Zanny’s sister couldn’t make it that day. Casey said she didn’t want to leave Zanny alone because she had a concussion. Cindy wanted Casey to bring Caylee home and go back to Tampa but Casey said no because Caylee was playing with Annabelle and Cindy had to work.
The next morning, Tuesday, June 24, Zanny was not doing well (punctured lung, concussion, etc.). Casey said Zanny’s sister and mother came on June 24 but forgot to bring the mother’s medicine and the sister had a class to go to. Casey had said that Zanny’s mother was ill and had been in and out of the hospital. Zanny’s roommate Raquel had been discharged (she left with Zanny’s mother and sister), and Casey said she felt obligated to stay with Zanny another day. Cindy wanted her to come back, but Casey felt obligated to stay with her friend.
Zanny’s roommates are Jennifer and Raquel according to Casey. So Zanny stayed in the hospital through Wednesday, June 25 and was released on Thursday, June 26. Juliet was taking care of the two kids at the hotel. Zanny’s roommate Jennifer had flown in from California.
On Thursday, June 26, Zanny was released from hospital and Jennifer was going to take Zanny home, but it was very late, so Jennifer and Zanny went back to the hotel and all of them stayed the night in Tampa and were planning to return on Friday, June 27.
Casey was back on Friday, June 27, but Casey and Juliet had to go into work because they had missed a whole week. She had to participate in a conference call to catch up on missed work and plan an upcoming event between Universal and Busch Gardens.
Casey’s meeting was late afternoon on Friday, June 27. Jennifer was going to watch Annabelle and Caylee during the meeting because Zanny wasn’t well enough.
Then Casey found out her friend Jeffrey Hopkins was in town. Jeff had introduced Casey to Zanny. Zanny had been Jeff’s girlfriend and had watched Jeff’s son Zachary. Jeff had introduced Casey to Zanny, and Zanny had watched Caylee and Zachary, who was a year older than Caylee.
Jeff had moved to Jacksonville in November or December 2007. His mother had breast cancer and was getting treatment in Jacksonville, so he moved up there. While he was in Orlando, Zanny, Jeff, Zachary, Casey, and Caylee wanted to hang out. They would be staying at the Hard Rock Hotel from June 27-30. On Monday, June 30, Jeff was going back to Jacksonville and Casey and Caylee would be going back to the Anthony house.
On Sunday, June 30, Casey called to say she had to stay late at work and Jennifer was going to watch Caylee at Zanny’s house. Zanny was too weak to lift Caylee, so Jennifer was staying around. Casey was supposed to get a couple of days off from work, but there was too much to do so she couldn’t come right away.
Cindy was on vacation from June 30-July 6.
Casey said Caylee was going to character breakfasts at Universal and spending the day at the park on Wednesday, July 2. Cindy drove to Universal guest services because she wanted to see Caylee. It was probably around 230-300pm when she arrived. Cindy called Casey’s cell to meet her, and that’s when Casey told Cindy that she was in Jacksonville, not Orlando, and was having car problems.
On Friday, July 4, Cindy is pretty sure she talked to Casey that day because Cindy and George wanted to take Caylee to the fireworks. Casey said she and Caylee were spending the day with Jeff and his family.
On Saturday, July 5, Jeff took her car as a favor to his mechanic to have some things fixed, so she wasn’t able to come home that weekend. Over the next few days, Casey said the car was still being worked on. Ultimately, Casey said the car wasn’t ready until the Thursday of the following week, July 10.
From July 6-10 Cindy and Casey phoned or sent a text every day. Cindy said there may have been a day on the following week that she did not speak to Casey which turned out to be Friday, July 11.
On the 11th, Jeff had decided he would be returning to Orlando on Saturday, July 12 and he wanted to follow Casey and Caylee to make sure they got home okay.
Casey told Cindy that she and Jeff were talking about moving in together because Jeff always wanted a mother for Zachary. According to Casey, Zachary’s mother and Jeff had never been, and she had died.
On July 12, Saturday, Casey didn’t come home. Cindy was getting irritated with her, but Casey’s excuse was that Jeff’s mom wanted to take them out to breakfast and out on a boat. Casey said she and Jeff were talking about getting married so she needed to stay there to talk to Jeff’s family.
On Sunday, July 13, Cindy found the notice that a registered letter was waiting for them at the PO. Casey said she and Jeff were doing something like taking the kids to the park.
On Monday, July 14, it was too far from Cindy’s work and George had to start a new job so they couldn’t get the letter at the post office. Casey once again said she and Jeff were doing something like taking the kids to the park.
On Tuesday, July 15, George picked up the letter and George called Cindy around noon to tell her that the registered letter was from a tow company and the car had been towed on June 30. Cindy said she called Casey and left a message (voice mail or text) saying she knew Casey wasn’t in Jacksonville because the car was in Orlando and she needed Casey to call her.
FYI – I saw the text message, and Cindy didn’t say anything about the car. She said there was a major problem and Casey needed to call her ASAP. Casey never called. Cindy found Amy Huizenga’s phone number on a resume in Casey’s car, and the rest is history.
Brooke – I thought Casey said Timer55 meant that she had 55 days until Caylee’s 3rd birthday to learn her lesson — that’s what the “kidnapper” told her. Didn’t someone else mention that Timer55 is also a way to send an e-mail to yourself and make it appear as tho it originated from someone else? She was doing that, too –
In Cindys mind if she admits Casey killed Caylee her life is over. So she does everything she can to hang on. I honestly think she needs phychiactriac help to deal with this. She needs a good therapist to break it to her gently. She is living in a dream world where Caylee will suddenly appear at McDonalds playland and Casey will be set free and they will all be a happy disfunctional family again.
So very sorry Cindy…its not going to happen. Go see a shrink and save yourself and George and Lee before you have no family.

I personally think the emails between shirley plesea and her friend maryloubea said a lot. They paint a picture of George being a stupid unemployable bum a**hole, money sponge fool of a wimpy man. They paint CIndy as a poor hardworking woman who supported both George and Casey and their follies. After turning 50 she went into a depression (veiled suicide) where the only thing she lived for was Caylee and loved working at her job, probably because it was an escape. Cindy had spoken to a lawyer about divorcing George and she was told that she would loose 1/2 the house (the house she had paid for alone) and would end up paying alimony to George because he was used to being supported by Cindy all these years. When she took him back recently she definitely got his nutsack in her grips. She blames dysfunction on George’s side of the family, but I fear it must run deep in both sides.
I do not feel sorry for either of them. I feel sorry for their loss of a granddaughter though. But as people, they are weak!

Some time ago, someone raised the issue of her lap top. lee said it was dead when he went to pick it up on the night of the 15th at Tony Lazzaro;s apt. In Tony[s interview, he said that Casey was sitting there on her lap top when her mother and Amy came to his house to get her. I guess it died between the time that Casey went home with her mother and a few hours later when Lee went to get her things from Tony’s LOL

brooke, that family is just INSANE, there is nothing normal going on there. Poor caylle she never had a chance, the best thing cindy could have done for caylle is to let casey put her up for adoption. 1 The father of Caylee is unknown. There is NO reason for her to hide the identity of the father. It is certainly not to protect the dad…not in her bones to do that.

3 Lee at first refused to give dna samples
4 Caylee is a combination of Casey and Caylee’s name.
5 Casey tells jesse her brother wanted to have sex with her; (that is not something she pulled out of thin air)
6 As headstrong and controlling as Cindy is, she would have found out who the father was. if she knows it is lee, she has every reason not to tell.
7 If George knew, it may be one of the reasons why he left.

I personally don’t know what to think about the Lee allegation. Casey also told someone that her father abused her — with his temper and her actions, you could see that happening, but, these are both very serious allegations and I hesitate to go there too much until more evidence is out. With Casey’s history of lying, even if she was telling the truth, it would be hard to believe.

There has been very little, if anything, out of Casey’s mouth that has been truthful. She told Jesse that Lee wanted to have sex with her; maybe that’s the truth, maybe not. If Lee is the father of Caylee DNA will tell.
Since that information has been released in the latest docs I can understand why it is a topic of discussion but, please, let’s not drag Georges name into this. Casey didn’t make an accusations of sexual abuse against him. It’s really an inappropriate topic of discussion.

My husband died at home on Christmas morning two years ago, only 3 1/2 weeks after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Oddly enough, the day was not particularly difficult for my four children and I last year. I think partly we were determined that it not be a morbid time for us. The reality is that the whole year had been full of ordinary days in which his lack of presence was a glaring hole.

Don’t forget — at that time, Cindy and George weren’t crazy about Jesse and Jesse had requested a paternity test (didn’t they actually break up shortly before the birth?) — so a story like that would fit her needs — sympathy and protection from Jesse -
I have to say, I thought the “seizure” was another lie until it was told by George.
Logical – But have you known anyone who has only had one seizure?
Ends up that it probably wasn’t really a seizure. Jesse tells about what happened in the new docs, too.

I know we all hate to go there with the allegations of incest, abuse etc etc. But with it coming out that she has made these allegations, it may move George Cindy and Lee toward ending their support of her. She means her family no good and is tearing them apart. If they stop supporting her, she may have no where else to turn. This may break her, and she may end the charade and tell where Caylee is.

Exactly that – that Leonard Padilla said that Lee had lied. Other than than that, am just speculating that Lee has lied about a lot of things. Mainly because of the track record of the Anthonys. Seems to me that Lee is trying to protect his family, for whatever reason.
Also suspicious is that Lee has refused a lie detector test as well.
Also – we are concerened about Lee’s supposed emails indicating that he detests Tim Miller, etc.
In the beginning, Lee seemed to cooperate with LE; then he is seen “high-fiving” his sister as he escorts her to the jail for a weekly encounter with the “counselor”.

Scoobee, my baby brother has grandmal seizures and he has never foamed at the mouth. She usually shakes with twitching of his facial muscles. and may lose control of his bladder, but he hasn’t foamed at the mouth. I believe it was an overdose or alcohol poisoning.
It is horrible to watch but he has no memory or recollection of it happening.
Agree with MauraL regarding her post about Casey’s intimation about “abuse” from Lee & George. Casey would say & do anything to keep a man.

An OCSO deputy got to Tony’s apartment at 11 pm. Tony pointed out Casey’s laptop, and the deputy tried to boot it up. He got the blue error screen. He and Tony tried to get it to boot up correctly but they couldn’t. So when Lee got there after midnight, it was already screwed up.
I think Casey had been trying to delete all incriminating files, including emails, and especially all evidence of her attempted electronic transfer of $574 from Amy’s checking account to her AT&T cell phone bill.
That afternoon, Casey talked briefly (about three minutes) with Cindy on the phone around noon. I suspect Cindy told her about the registered letter waiting at the PO. Then around 4:30p, Casey got a text message from Cindy saying “Call me ASAP major prob.” Then another text from Cindy at 4:45p saying “Call me.”
At 4:53p Casey sent text to Amy: “I think your camera is at my parents. I’ll check later to be sure.” At 5:22p, Amy sent text to Casey: “No, it’s not. I must have put down the wrong address because it came back there. I’ll just have it sent to the boys house.” At 5:30p Casey sent text to Amy: “Oh ok. My Mom had texted me something about it.”
At 5:31p, Cindy tried to call Casey but Casey wouldn’t pick up the phone.
My gut says Casey originally thought the registered letter had something to do with Amy’s filing a change of address form to have all her mail sent to the Anthony house that had caused some kind of problem, hence Casey’s fishing text to Amy about a camera delivery. When Casey realized it was something else, she wouldn’t answer Cindy’s phone calls or text messages.
In the most recent set of documents is a partial email that was retrieved from the unallocated portion of the hard drive (where deleted files are) that is clearly a recent email from Cindy to Casey confronting Casey about the tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow excuses Casey was giving for not coming home.
And Casey still had no idea what had happened to the car. My guess is Casey put two and two together and realized Cindy wasn’t exaggerating (for once) about a major problem and Casey was doing some fast deletions on her computer.

True Zenga, whether its true or false, it would seem like the family would denounce it either way. Her parents are making fools out of themselves as well as making themselves look guilty or involved. This is the point where they should be jumping ship and acknowledging her problems. This is the perfect opportunity and if they were smart they’d seize it.
Also, it seems they are afraid of Casey. If anything they should be on the defensive since this allegation has come out. Casey’s slimeball lawyer may try to use this to her advantage, and it may work. I’d hate to see her in a psychiatric facility versus prison.
I’ll have to research that. Also, if its mixed w/ alcohol. Jesse said there had been heavy drinking going on. One of my best friends is a pharmacist, he isn’t off until 12 I believe but i’ll call and ask if he can find out.

However, because of experience with abuse victims in my own life, I’ve learned that people rarely lie about this subject. If they ARE lying, it is usually fairly easy to detect by trained clinicians. I was told the most common lie abuse victims tell about being abused is to lies that minimize the extent of the abuse.
The person I have the most experience with is certainly no murderer == but he’s a pathological liar, so some people thought I shouldn’t believe him — it’s a strange thing because I think the abuse is part of what leads them into this “false” behavior, lying, etc.

Casey Anthony told her friends at a no clothes party(?) that she had had a miscarriage by a guy named Brandon. There was a big emotional scene at the party. And Casey spent like half an hour crying.
She was too busy partying to take care of Caylee, but still goes out and gets pregnant again. Probably another lie in an effort to get a guy to take care of her.

Just a comment in reference to the following from one of the above posts:
“On Saturday, July 5, Jeff took her car as a favor to his mechanic to have some things fixed, so she wasn’t able to come home that weekend. Over the next few days, Casey said the car was still being worked on. Ultimately, Casey said the car wasn’t ready until the Thursday of the following week, July 10.”
As I recall, the woman psychic from Detroit, as supposedly speaking in Caylee’s words coming thru to her said “…Mommy tell what happened…please tell everyone about the man at the car parts store…” or something to that affect.
I am wondering what the name of this person is and how thoroughly he was checked out. Wasn’t it said that whomever this person was, had immediately left the job there and was gone from Orlando right after Caylee disappearance? What exactly do we know of this person.
I have heard anything specific. And it stays with me as anytime I see a film clip of Casey I wonder how she would because of her size, needed an accomplice to move a dead body around.

there was no Jeff, Casey was lying to Cindy about her whereabouts, she was in orlando with Tony, no Jeff.
The car was not taken to a shop.
Wow, I cringe at the emails sent between Cindy and her brother. There is so much animosity and hate between the two of them.
The name calling and the hate, holy cow, between a brother and a sister, that is so unbelievable.
I have to agree with the brother though, Cindy is so blind she needs a seeing eye dog. She has protected Casey and condone her behaviour evidently for so long that Casey just ran with it and took whatever she could from not only her parent;s but her grandparent;s her friend’s, and ultimately her own child.
Casey took from anyone that came close to her and got away with it all because her own mother chose to look the other way.
Did her car really get worked on ? She wasnt with Jeff she was hanging out in town wasnt she?

If Casey told someone her was in a shop for repairs on July 5th, it was a lie.

I don’t think it was a Xanax overdose she suffered from.
It sounds more like a Xanax detox situation. I wonder if Casey’s source had run out or she had been hanging with Jesse and hadn’t used for a few days. She may have thought alcohol would help her but that is not the case when one withdraws Xanax or Valium, etc. Its a very dangerous to go cold turkey with those types of drugs, any doctor will tell you that. Thats why many are hospitalized while they detox.
Alcohol consumption & Xanax could cause someone to go into a coma.

That was another lie from Casey. She was telling this to Cindy in order to avoid coming home. She was never with a “Jeff”, and he car never was in the shop, all lies.
Everyone should just leave those people alone and let the police do their work to help find that little girl. casey is probably going to be protective about the whole thing no matter what!

Casey lied about being with Jeff. She said Jeff had a son, Zak, that was with them, too. Jeff doesn’t even have a son. He also did not introduce Casey to any nanny , as she claimed. Since he didn’t have a son…..he didn’t have a nanny.

in the fact that this psychic woman tuned it on “the man from the car parts store” and this I am pretty sure was before any of that info came out… I am not quite certain that I believe or disbelieve in psychics – tho some of the psychic detective stuff I have heard in other cases been right on… It’s just odd that this woman was being so adamant in this coming from Caylee as a message to Casey, and also the business I am sure I heard of this person up and leaving town so quickly.
From what we all know about Casey and her men friends, it seems likely that she know a mechanic or someone in that line – and also because of her car probably needing repairs often…
Just seemed to me that this came up and then there was no more info about it.

Have to catch up with the comments but wanted to let everyone know that NG on her special tonight said that CA washed the clothes and boots BEFORE her panicky call to 911. Wow! She def knows whats up, IMHO. Reading MauraL’s great post about the Zanny accident that Cindy relayed to LE or FBI, can’t remember, I kept thinking it sounds like a script written for Casey on the events. Anyway, Cindy said Casey said …Cindy seems to me to be putting words in Casey’s mouth. On that confession of Casey’s to Jesse, while it may be Lee she was implicating, I can’t see that thats what the docs set one is saying. Its blanked out and could be anyone. However, I believe she very well could have implicated Lee after reading what Jesse’s dad said to LE. He said that Casey was desperate to move out of the house. I think Casey was playing on his sympathies just to get a home. Mr. Grund told Jesse that if he moved in with Casey before they were married then he would not perform the ceremony. Casey was pressuring Jesse to buy a house for them before marriage.

Casey was probably madder than HELL at Cindy because she forced Casey to keep Caylee and blamed Cindy for the fact that she had “mommy duties”. She may have felt since Cindy was the one that wanted to keep Caylee that it should be Cindy’s responsibility to take care of Caylee, too.

All I have heard is that they typically won’t eat something that is submerged in water because they’ll inhale water when they open their snout, this is why they come up and grab prey off the top of the water. As far as what type of food they’ll go after, I’m not sure.
I’m still looking for some testimony from Father’s Day.

I understand tho Casey’s need to get out of her parents home. She was hoping the pregnancy would give her a way out, as it had for many of young girls who think thats the way to get a man to marry you.

They’ve probably come across others that were similar, but I know they said this is the toughest one ever. There are a lot of parents out there who would do anything to protect their kids. It appears that it was Cindy who turned her family away, just as I suspected. She won’t let anyone in that she can’t control their thoughts. Her mother and brother have minds of their own, so she will have nothing to do with them.

You are probably right. If not xanax, then certainly some type of pain killer. Also, it appears that George was out of work for a number of years, and that when he & Cindy split up, he was suing her for 1/2 of everything including alimony, because his lawyer said since Cindy had supported him for so long, she would be liable to support him after the divorce also.
