Caylee Anthony Day by Day Since the Begining of The End

Private Investigator Hired By Anthony Family Continues Search

1-privateinvestAs the Orange County Sheriff’s office released new documents in the case of missing toddler Caylee Anthony Wednesday, the Anthony family’s private investigator Dominic Casey of D&A Investigations continued to follow up on one of the more recent sightings of the toddler who has been missing since this past June, the one from two weeks ago at the Florida Mall in Orange County.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office has said their investigation shows the Caylee is dead — so they’re no longer following up on tips of live sightings.

Over the past four months hundreds of calls have come in with possible Caylee sightings however and D&A has followed up on leads in at least 8 Florida cities including Orlando, Jacksonville, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Coral Springs and Gainesville, Clearwater and Tampa.  Some sightings have lead the private investigative team out of state to Nevada, Texas, Virginia, California, Kentucky, Ohio, New York, and North Carolina.

So while the Sheriff’s department and prosecutors continue to prepare to try Caylee’s mother Casey Anthony on murder charges, D&A investigations said they’re in this until the end, and they’ll keep following up on leads until Caylee is home

Yikes when / where does this stop?

  2. topcat08 says:

This PI will keep it up as long as he is getting all this free high profile publicity. Unless Cindy hit the lotto, they can’t pay for his services much longer. I think that once this case gets to court he will be gone. Its just a big smoke screen to try and put doubt in the minds of the jury.

  3. Bogart says:

Honestly I was curious about this PI . . . every now & again the Anthony’s mentioned they had someone looked into or followed but we never heard very much about that at all

    uh huh—we get it—like DNA—puhleez

  6. 2shado says:

Hi hippity-hop—Bunny! joe is roaming around on the NG thread. Go tease him. He’s just wondering around aimlessly.

  7. JoyceEllaine says:

How can they afford a PI? As for publicity, I have not seen this person getting much airtime.

  8. Bogart says:

Same here JoyceEllaine, I have not seen this person at all . . . I have heard the Anthony’s have people searching, investigating & helping but I have never heard/read much if at all about what is going on . . .

I wonder if this PI is doing a investigation on where Casey actually was & whom with?

  9. Elaine says:

This PI may be getting paid by donations. Has anyone heard whether donations have been collected at vigils or in tin cups anywhere? I don’t know, just speculating.

I did look into D&A Investigations a month or so back, and I found nothing to discredit them. That doesn’t mean there isn’t something out there, just that I didn’t find anything.

The PI says he is working for free.

Dominic Casey says he is still actively searching for clues, just has he has been since days after Caylee’s disappearance — all pro bono. “We offered our services to the Anthonys and since then we have not taken one cent from them. It’s not about the money. One’s ability to pay should not deny the right to available resources, especially in the case of missing child.”

In addition to his ongoing investigation, Dominic speaks with the Anthonys on a daily basis. “George and Cindy are good people living a nightmare.” And he stresses at no time have the Anthonys ever doubted the innocence of their daughter. “Absolutely not. Never. They completely support Casey.” But, he adds, “I would never give them false hope.” Dominic has also spoken many times with Casey, meeting with her in Orange County Jail early as August. “She is absolutely distraught,” says Dominic when asked about her demeanor on these visits, “I cannot imagine what that girl is going through.”

I did find this article dated Nov. 12th where Mr. Dominic Casey ( well, just notice that!!! ) states – all pro bono

….”i just can’t imagine what that girl is going through….”
Does anyone else think it’s wonderful what she’s “going through”!!!THANKFULLY she’s sitting where she belongs….CAYLEE is the one dominic should be feeling sorry for! You have to wonder what her life was like, what with “mommy” texting so much-when did “mommy” have TIME to even feed little Caylee? Last time I checked you need hands to even pour a bowl of cereal…Sorry b!tch!!

  13. Thinking of this PI brings “Who Framed Roger Rabbit ” to my mind, I wonder why?????

Happy Thanksgiving everyone, it is sad that Caylee is not here sharing this holiday with us.

Can I say Bull Sh–t !! OMG this guy is getting alot of publicity for his frim off this case. Same old same old.

  15. mia says:

oh my gosh, I was just reading part 13, page 2917 – ML is writing an email to her sister and says something like

“I smiled when you said she doesn’t think Casey is PG. I don’t think she thought Casey was PG the last time around either?????”

    Thoughts anybody?

  16. Zenga says:

mia – you find the most interesting stuff! Not sure what to say about that – do you think that indicates Casey was pregnant twice? (or more?) yikes

  17. Sherry C. says:

Who’s ML? Perhaps its true, Casey suffered a miscarriage. But by the one she claimed to impregnate her, the one who caused her to cry? Maybe.

  18. Zenga says:

Also, Laura#1 – totally agree that this PI firm is getting tons of free publicity.

  19. mia says:

and a little later on (I think these two ladies that are writing emails are cindys sister in laws? not sure) but one says to the other:

“I am thinking Casey will come dragging back when she finds no one else wants to be bothered with her and her toddler. (she sure didn’t turn out like I had imagined she would.)”

Is she talking about the “toddler” not turning out right?

  20. mia says:

oh, i think the shirley in these emails might be cindys mom?

I wonder how many other people the PI helped without pay??? Lots of people can’t afford a PI but then again they aren’t on tv every day either.

  22. FLMomOf2 says:

I can’t really imagine that the PI has found any SOLID evidence to show that CAYLEE is alive.

And quite frankly, I detest KFN & Michelle Bart’s opinions regarding the CAYLEE sightings that if NOBODY speaks up that it is their child that it MUST be Caylee. That is completely and utterly ridiculous.

    I am sitting here with my three year old in my lap, ;

  23. Sherry C. says:

mia, re: 9:19 comment- I have been reading old posts here (Aug 6th ) and ran across a couple of commentors who said that Casey had a little boy about 5 years ago and gave it up for adoption. Maybe, in light of what you read its true.

  24. Boston says:

Interesting. That info would be in the Department of Vital Statistics in the state capital or Orlando.

  25. siblis says:

Don’t beleieve it folks, there is no PI, just as there is no more “LIVE” Caylee. For as grown man to roam around town on Thanksgiving day with a billboard attached to the back of his car knowing that his granddaughter is dead is pretty sad. I think Cindy’s brother has summed it all up for us the right way, at least part of their family has some brains. George go home & eat the bird, if you can’t stand to be around that psycho Cindy file for a divorce & move on.

  26. geniema says:

Has witnesses seen the car around in june went Caylee had with missing ? Like park at story or places like that? And what was Caylee wearing the day she with missing i have hear anything about the cloths?

  27. geniema says:

The law didn’t asks. Casey about what was caylee wearing or anythings about that
