Closer analysis of the documents reveal that not only were Google and Wikipedia sites used for web searches, but other websites such as blogspot, sci-spot.com, druglibrary.org and instructables.com were also used for searching words or the string of words: “making weapons out of household products,” “choroformhabit,” “chloroform,” “how to make chloroform,” and “chloro2.”
Casey describes babysitter as “definitely someone I trust”
Anthony told authorities she had left her daughter with a baby sitter in June and the two were gone when she returned from work. She says she spent the next month trying to find her daughter and didn’t call authorities because she was scared. Investigators say they have poked several holes in her story.
Through instant messaging, an acquaintance of Casey’s inquires about her babysitter. Excerpts are taken from an exchange on Sunday, July 13 — three days before Caylee was reported missing — between Casey and Youriev Donov, 24, of Orlando:
YD: yeah good idea, so what do u do when u work? with the kid that is
CA: i have a nanny. i love her.
YD: nice. how much do they charge?
CA: we’ve been friends for over 6 years. definitely someone i trust. it just depends. i pay her a lot more than most nanny’s make. it’s worth it though
YD: yeah i understand
CA: she’s a friend. between myself, and one of my coworkers, its her main source of income
And in another exchange on Monday, July 14:
YD: why?
CA: i’m pretty hung up on tony, and realistically, if he moves back to new york next year, my relationship will end. sucks to know that inevitably, unless i were to drop everything, i’m going to love someone close to me
YD: then why dig a deeper whole [sic]? i couldn’t do that to myself
CA: that’s why i’m torn right now

Caylee had not been seen for several days. The child’s grandmother first called authorities in July to say she hadn’t seen Caylee for a month and her daughter’s car smelled like death.
The following is what appears to be fragments of Yahoo web mail recovered from Casey’s computer. It reads:
Cell phone records include text messages in which Casey calls herself “the worst mother,” and calls Caylee a “little snothead,” according to the documents. Here are a few excerpts from a text exchange between Tony Lazzaro and Casey Anthony through a Blackberry device on July 16 — the day Caylee was reported missing:

CA: I honestly don’t know ..
TL: I don’t know … R u serious? When did u find out?
CA: I’ve been filing reports all night and driving around with multiple officers looking at old apartments i had taken her to.
TL: Y wouldn’t you tell me of all people I was ur boyfriend that cares about you and ur daughter. Doesnt make sense to me Why would u lie to me
CA: I lied to everyone. What was i supposed to say? i trust my daughter with some psycho. How does that look?
TL: Idk what to say .. I just hope your daughter is okay and im gonna do watever to help ur family and the cops
CA: i was put in handcuffs for almost 10 minutes and sat in the back of a cop car. The best thing and most important person is my life is missing. I am the dumbest person and the worst mother. i think Cindy and George just need to pray for caylee that she is in a much better place and they themselfs have their own lives. It sounds like Casey had them on her list also. Whenever I let myself think it may have been premeditated I always thought that Casey may have planned on doing away with C and G. Why would she have asked Amy to move in with her? That wasn’t going to happen with C and G living there. I wondered if they had mortgage insurance or life insurance that would have left Casey the house, free and clear.
What would have happened in the next 30 days, or however long, if Cindy hadn’t dragged Casey out of Tony’s and made the 911 calls that night. I don’t think she was done with what her ultimate plan was. She knew she couldn’t keep C and G away from Caylee forever. She had to have something in mind that was not going to involve telling her parents that she didn’t have Caylee with her anymore.
Too many more thoughts in my mind and not enough room to write them all here.
This trial can’t come soon enough for me. I would almost be disappointed if Casey confessed right now.

If you are on a laptop and have a mouse pad on your computer hold down the control button and run you finger up and down on the right side of the pad. It’s like a wheel. That should do it, too. I just tried it and the print increased on mine.

Last night I downloaded something that had nothing to do with this case and when I printed the doc it came out as a very nice type written page. I did this because I couldn’t read it on the screen. I don’t know how many pages these new docs contain. Maybe that’s not an option. I only had to print out three pages.

I have a dell laptop. On the bottom right hand corner right above the time there is a magnification/change zoom level.
This works pretty good for the fox documents however they are pretty blurry once magnified at 150%.
It is worth the eyestrain for me…I think. However, I find that it also works to gain information from the people who have better eyesight!. LOL

OMG, go shopping for the day and the bombshells drop while I am gone! I can’t believe after all this time that I was surprised, but I was. There is surely not one person on this board that, God forbid, being put in this same situation, and asked for their grandbaby’s hairbrush to help in the investigation would not hesitate to go right out and give the authorities the RIGHT hairbrush, the one that you know they were asking for and the one that would be the MOST help to the investigators that could help you get that baby back! NO PERSON that was REALLY desperately searching for a loved one would knowingly give wrong evidence, wash found evidence, attempt to conceal given evidence, and tell lie after lie after lie to the authorities attempting to find that person! It simply would not happen. This isn’t just pathetic and deplorable. This is criminal and she should be held responsible for her actions.
If this email is legitimate and this is all true, then I can no longer bring myself to believe that this “poor grieving grandma” ever truly loved her grandbaby at all. If she had, there is NO WAY she could ever actively conceal, tamper, lie, and obstruct with the sole purpose of doing every thing in her power to make sure that Caylee Marie never receives the justice she so deserves or at least the dignity of a proper burial. And if she truly believed that Caylee was alive there would be no need to do these things at all. She’s content to let her rot out there in some unknown place just as long as it keeps KC out of jail. It is vile and disgusting and I hope she is made to pay dearly for all she has done, if not by LE then most surely on judgement day.

The investigation has brought out accusations Casey had been making against those closest to her, namely that her father George has abused her, and that her brother Lee made inappropriate sexual advances toward her once when she was in junior high. The documents show Casey said her mother Cindy did not believe that to be true..
Casey’s ex-fiance’, Jesse Grund, told investigators he has heard that Casey has been cooking up a story to frame him for Caylee’s murder, even though she insists Caylee is alive. Grund claims Casey tried to convince her lawyer, with her mother’s help, that Grund killed Caylee because of his “obsession” with her and planted evidence in the back of her (Casey’s) car….
…Investigators also say the documents indicate that Casey might have been considering coming clean a couple of times. On the day she was indicted for murder she actually called her attorney from the sheriff’s headquarters and hinted she might help investigators find Caylee. But once she talked to him she changed her mind. In August, she was about to meet with her father at the jail but once again it appears her attorney talked her out of it.

I think it’s wrong that we were told to shut up about our speculations about the name Cay-Lee. This theory was never far fetched but some decided to censor. Now it looks like the truth is coming out. That’s why there were so many lies about the identity of the father. And the reason why Lee has gone into hiding. This is one sick, twisted family. In numerous e-mail correspondences that occurred between August 11 and August 22 between Cindy Anthony and her brother, Rick Plesea, the two discuss Caylee’s disappearance. Plesea repeatedly accused Casey Anthony of killing Caylee and asked his sister to provide proof that the babysitter Casey Anthony referred to actually existed.
“Your ignorance is intolerable. I am your brother and I demand to know if anyone other than Casey has seen this stupid sitter. If you can’t answer that simple request then you are by yourself on this. You need to get some psychiatric help,” Plesea wrote.
In Cindy Anthony’s response, she wrote, “There is a sitter. We have people tracking her, the OCSD is not doing their job, but we have other sources who are.”
Cindy Anthony also refers to unreleased evidence in several of the e-mails. She told her brother there is information that the media does not know.
In one response, Cindy Anthony writes that, “We cannot come out with other evidence until Caylee is safe.”
In another she said, “There’s a lot you guys don’t know and we cannot say. I can assure you I am not mad at you but the facts cannot be released for many reasons.”

This I have never understood… George goes to Amscott… smells a ‘distinct’ smell of decompostion in the car.
Why does he not at that VERY second call 911. Afterall, at that moment, he had no idea if someone has killed his family and then removed the bodies from the car…. Who else would drive that car from the lot? I would have had ten 911 calls in before they could even get there.
It almost makes me think he suspected KC right away.
Mao – They can prove paternity with DNA testing. In fact, I am sure they know this identity as we speak. It has not been released…yet. This could be why we have not seen Lee but regardless of fatherhood it may not have given way to helping dispose of the little girls body. If he did help it may have had nothing to do with paternity. It may have been done just because of the fact that he is a chit!
I believe the following:
1) Lee is the Father
2) The parents of Caylee is Lee & Casey
3) I beleive that Lee helped Casey in the cover up & disposing of the body
4) I believe Lee Molested his sister numerous times
5) I believe all this because Lee would not give up his DNA & talked The Family out of Lie Detectors Test
6) The Reason the family doesn’t know who the Father is….beacause the Father is their own son.

I don’t want to believe that. I know this family has their own demons but by God, don;t we all. To speculate on this subject right now is irresponsible and insensitive.
Who cares really who the father is, I just want for someone to find Caylee and bury her somewhere so she can have a marked grave like a normal human being.
So that her grandarent’s and family can go to Her and bring Her flower’s and ackknowledge the child that her mother so abruptly forgot.

I can think of no reason why George would not have called 911 immediately and while at the tow yard.
The only plausible explanation I could come up with was that once relieved that Caylee was not in the car that they (because Cindy was with him) decided to take the car home and figure out what to do from there. In other words…lets not make a big deal of this here. Let’s go home and try to figure out what to do.
That is the only thing I can think of.
I still do not understand how the hell George was able to go off to work once he got home and I am still not convinced that he actually did this. But…I am sure LE has checked this out.
I think that this was a pure desperation…lets gets our wits about us, play on their parts and I also think it explains the desperate 911 calls Cindy finally ended up making once she located Casey.

There is no other explanation that makes sense for why Casey has so many problems.
The family is dysfunctional as many are, but that is not reason enough for Casey to be as sick as she is.

I want to say that tomorrow will be a very sad day for the Anthony’s. It is Thanksgiving and even though I have my own opinion of the Anthony’s and this case no one should be going through this at all especially during the holidays. I ask that everyone stop and say a prayer for this family, no matter how hard your hearts are towards them. If nothing else pray that they find peace and once they find that peace maybe they can face reality.
I am saying a prayer for them and one for Caylee. She is the one that has been deprived her life. Even if she is alive somewhere like the Anthony’s want to believe this little girl has still been torn from her family. I agree that they might not be the best, but they were her family and it was clear that she loved her grandparents. She was ripped away from them and now everyone hurts from it. All because of one little spoiled brat that sits in the Orange County Jail getting served three meals a day but desserts if she wants them. She is the woman that is in jail and being treated like she is a celebrity. She should be given a toothbrush daily and some comet and made to clean the women’s bathrooms and showers in the jail and make her work from daylight to dawn and fed bread and water until she told the truth.

Another page of the documents showed a sheet of paper taken from Casey Anthony’s car after it was found abandoned at an Orange County Amscot June 27 showed Casey Anthony’s name written repeatedly in different variations with the last name Lazzaro being used with it. Lazzaro said that he told Casey Anthony that if he ever did start a family, he wanted to have sons, not daughters because he had two younger sisters and knew what was involved in raising girls, according to the documents.
I pray that George and Cindy have a nice Thanksgiving and I do mean that from the bottom of my heart. This will be a very difficult day for them and I hope that they have good support from family, friends and the community.
I also hope that KC enjoys her POP TARTS. Nancy referred to them as pastries…I think not!

Yep, BJ – we feel better! LOL We can’t help it – we are just so vested in this case. A few years back we had the same obsession with the Laci Peterson case. We believe it comes from losing our 2-year old son many years ago. We (my husband and I) really do care.
Having Thanksgiving dinner at my sister’s house tomorrow (18 people) – I asked her – can we say prayers for Caylee at dinner? Can we say prayers for our Troops in harm’s way? She said “of course” – there ya have it.

I believe Cindy sent George on to work that night and he went because George is used to letting Cindy fix things. Cindy needed her freedom that night to track Casey down when she did there was no turning back. I honestly feel if Cindy had not gone off the deep end that night they would have swallowed Casey’s lies and even though they could feel the truth they would not have put themselves out like this … I bet they wish they had never called the police that night.
However that brings us back to who is looking for Caylee and who is this all about anyway ? Caylee not Casey!! Caylee not Cindy but somewhere it all got about how much DRAMA they could make this.

WESH-Channel 2 explored tensions in the Anthony family.
WKMG-Channel 6 examined “uncomfortable family e-mails.” WKMG highlighted that Cindy Anthony’s mother had told her to stay off television because it was taking the focus off missing granddaughter Caylee.
Cindy hasn’t followed her mom’s advice: She appeared on “Today” Wednesday.
WFTV also played up the personal angles. That style connects with many viewers — and annoys others.
Opsahl discussed “the disturbing toll” on Cindy Anthony and how her looks have changed. “We were shocked to see she had lost weight, and how tired and worn her faced appeared,” he said.

When I went to the top of my screen, there is a button there that says Page, i clicked on it and then clicked on ZOOM to 200 percent., That brought up the documents, large enough to read…at the top of each doc, there is a NEXT AND PREVIOUS button. So I just followed that. I think I said it was like a pdf file…not sure without re reading my posts. But it worked the same as a pdf file.

Actually BJ – and frankly – I do not think we here (my husband and I & many of our friends who went down for the search) are ready for this next round. Seems so overwhelming.
This is what we know for sure – a young woman has taken her child’s life for whatever sick reasons she had. It just takes our breath away, especially as these new documents come out to the public.

After studying those blacked out words and with a little help from a computer pro, we can tell by the size of the font and size of the black out that the name is 3 letters. In the larger black spot, using the same font size we imposed over it … brother, Lee. … and it fit perfectly. We tried other words that could possibly finish the sentence but none fit the space like that one. Hmmm…..

This is an indication that KC & CA knew Caylee was deceased and that all were aware of that fact during the time LP was in the house back in Aug.
Cindy lied about the attorney who made up papers which would give her & GA custody of Caylee in the event anything happened to Casey.
The attorney, Paul Kelly claims he has no file created for this request and he had no further info. on who “Eric” was.
Eric was the named father by both KC & Cindy. Cindy had told investigators that they could get Eric’s last name from the papers, which she promised, but never provided.

Just read the latest update on WFTV news where it says Casey is accusing her father of absue, as well as her brother??? Is this now supposed to be her defense??? – like those 2 brothers (Menedez) who killed their parents.

There are NO negative calls at all. There is a Sheeba from Illinois who has called in at least 30 times that I have counted.
In the #2 Document #2386 did you see where Anthony Lazzaro tells that Casey told him that while in middle school she awoke in the middle of the night touching her? And she was upset that Cindy did not believe her.

Maybe Casey was trying to tell Tony about Lee because she wanted to lay a foundation of why she wouldn’t be talking to him because wasn’t she telling friends that her brother was looking for her, and that if they had any contact from her family don’t take their calls or something? She seemed to create this facade (<-spell check) around Tony. As if she had money, could buy things, groceries, car washes, a nanny, was responsible, and instead of her car running out of gas it was her car needed a mechanic.

Months ago when LE took the hairbrush Cindy complained because they didn’t check Caylee’s bed for samples of her hair……they weren’t doing their job!! They were not doing a proper investigation.

I just found this site/blog and it has been such a great source for answers when I have questions about something I see on the news or on Nancy Grace.
I’m reading through set one now, the first time I’ve read closely through any of the discovery documents. It’s good to know that there’s so much more information known than what is discussed in the media (and hopefully there’s even more that hasn’t been released).
I just wanted to add my thoughts on the Yahoo e-mail that is referred to in this blog post. I noticed that the sender is not clarified, but from the context of the message the sender definitely appears to be Cindy.
Anyway, while reading through the first set of the recent discovery documents, I saw mention of Cindy and George’s concern about the pool gate having been left open and the ladder down, which was out of the ordinary. I thought back to the Yahoo e-mail (apparently from Cindy to Casey) and wondered if the pool gate/ladder are the incident Cindy confused about when she mentions that George hadn’t been home during the day and she didn’t know what or who to believe anymore.
It makes me wonder if Cindy came home and found the pool gate open/ladder down… and then confronted George about it who told her he hadn’t been at home all day. This must have been alarming for Cindy, who at that point (if I’m not mistaken… and I might be) was under the impression that Casey was in Jacksonville (or was it Gainesville?) or wherever she claimed she was away at. So, keeping this in mind and applying it to the context of the Yahoo e-mail, it almost sounds like she asked Casey about it (maybe at that point finally suspecting Casey was in town afterall) and Casey denied it, hence in the e-mail Cindy mentioning that George hadn’t been home and she didn’t know what to believe anymore.
Just a thought.

at first maybe CA and GA were desperate to find Caylee, but now I think CA knows that Caylee is Lee’s so she is trying hard to hide the dirty secrets. If they find Caylee her DNA can be matched to Lee and Casey. This would be the reason casey named a dead man as the father when we know that’s not true. she also hid her pregnancy and wanted to put it up for adoption.
Gads, I am addicted to this drama. I don’t think Lee was caylee’s father because Casey was 19 when she got pg. No 19yr old will let that happen when she was out there doing everybody/anybody in town. If she told crazy Cindy that when she was little, Cindy knew how she lied, always. Of course, if Casey was 5 or 6 at the time, then yes, i would think she would have looked into it.? Oh, I forgot, she doesn’t/did’nt address problems. She would have just spun that around. Boy, both kc & ca are absolutely nuts. Hollywood could’nt even write this stuff. I think KC killed Caylee as well & I think CA is a nut & the whole family are creeps, but I don’t find it strange that Caylee would be named after her uncle. I have 4 children named after various people in the family and no incest here.
Not that I think anything is far fetched with this family, just that the name thing doesn’t strike me as odd.
I too am obsessed with this case & hope and pray every day that this beautiful angel is found and the Mother rots in wherever!!

At the end of Documents #4 it states she was schedule to have an interview with the police in reference to Sawgrass Apartments & Casey’s friends . . . she never attended.
Then in the beginning of Documents #5 on 9/25/08 the policed called in efforts of rescheduling, Katie told them that Casey was good friends of Vicky Aleman & they should contact her. And that Katie was unwilling for an interview . . . .I am puzzled to who she is? and why she would not want an interview?

Mallory Parker, Lee Anthony’s girlfriend ( or former girlfriend, rumors they broke up ) . . . how long were they together? where did she work? If I recall I thought she was a waitress, but perhaps I am mistaken . . . ??? . . . was she ever interviewed? I am almost postive the Police would want to talk to her being she dated Casey’s brother & may be able to shed a bit of lite to some of the stories relayed.
Just a weird thought that perhaps the Sunshine Restaurant IHop checks were perhaps hers . . . .

I have finished going through all the documents, even took little notes of interest but apparently missed some things
( . . . I read an area where they spoke to a waitress about a comment a customer over heard or had discussed with her, the waitress was not Mallory but curiousity is getting to me, searching back I have not found it yet

I am not sure why I have am so intrigued with Mallory right now . . . probably because no interviews have been released of hers yet. I really think being the girlfriend of Lee she saw or knew much more then we realize. Also going over the documents I relized there are much more yet to be released . . . no doubt they did Cindy’s phone records, so we should be seeing Casey’s texts to her soon as well . . .

In Doc #1 #2299 the police interview Ryan Pasley, Casey’s best friend since they were both 5 years old. He says 1 1/2 weeks before Caylee went missing Casey told him she was using drugs
In Doc #1 #2302 Jesse states he never known Casey to take any illegal/non-prescribed drugs nor using Xanax ( thou they have an IM, I believe, conversation between them too referring to Xanax ) BESIDES birth control pills . . . hhhmmm . . . also what I gather of the seizure Jesse mentioned she had done HEAVY drinking prior . . .

Bogart, yes, there have been many versions of Who’s The Daddy given by Casey and Cindy to various people. And yes, I had noted that Cindy’s claim about the legal arrangements for Caylee if something should happen to Casey is not backed up by her lawyer.
All of Casey’s friends seemed to agree that she was not much of a drinker, nor known to take drugs. This was apparently a quite recent change in her pattern of behavior. I suspect it had to do with going along with the new guy and his friends. I interpreted one of her text messages to Amy as being disapproving of Ricardo’s pot smoking, but she seems to have changed her tune with Tony.
I need to look at that Amscot info again. Some of the actual copies of checks that were shown appeared to me to be Casey attempting to write herself a check from Cindy’s account. Memo line said “camping.” It looked to me like Casey’s writing on all lines of the check.
Mallory Parker and her mother are both listed as “officers” in the Foundation that Cindy is trying to create, The Caylee Marie Anthony Foundation. And Jody is in charge of the trust account after Suntrust and a law firm removed themselves from it.
Katie Sue Robinson is apparently someone at Sawgrass who was supposed to provide some information. I don’t know why she suddenly backed out.
This is a good place to talk about the discovery documents, but a bad place to have those comments seen! I wouldn’t have known if you hadn’t left a note on the other thread. This problem will be resolved with the new site, I am sure. We will have “threads” with a topic, not just moving onward and onward by date and news articles.
How many people think Caylee was most likely eaten by alligators? I remember once on the Nancy Grace show they had some expert who said alligators don’t attack under water….so if Caylee’s body was dumped does that mean it would still be there…or bones at least?
And George getting duped by those bogus lottery scammers, is this what Casey blames as her reason for the family problems?

I know it will sound far fetch ( but then again with this case what hasn’t sounded far fetched so far ) but do you think maybe possibly Casey dropped those items off at a Thrift Store or one of the clothes donation areas? If nothing has Caylee’s name on it & being children’s items they would be bought up quickly & basically lost.

I was reading Section 11 & 12. I was really baffled. Who are these new people? Jenna, Jamie, David Cox, Drew Heyman, Sean Hickey. Were they the other group of friends.

I noticed the texts from July 12 to July 15 very interesting. All from these new people, talking about hotels, meetings and on the 15th Drew H. was looking at houses. Interesting. Also a deleted email from East Coast Enterprises and that email includes the name Juliet. The mysterious Juliet. Is it reasonable to believe she really does exist. Not sure, but without a doubt Casey was moving on to the next group. Jenna asks where are the DBC boys that normally work tonight? Jamie: Hotel n Orlando And Jesse G: I’m moving away. Poor thing, Jesse says that at 1:10 on July 15th. I wonder how long she has known them.
