Caylee Anthony Day by Day Since the Begining of The End

Audio Of Secret Proceedings Mistakenly Sent In Anthony Case

ORLANDO, Fla. — Audio of a grand jury’s secret proceedings in the nationally-watched case of Casey Anthony was mistakenly sent outside the courtroom and to all media outlets plugged into the courthouse system.

“I don’t know what was listened to or what was heard until the time that it was turned off,” Orange County Chief Judge Belven Perry said. “Everyone who may have heard needs to govern themselves accordingly.”

    1st?

  2. believe in karma says:

yaaaayyyy!! now, like i was asking on another thread, does this have any impact on the indictments? like, does that “void” anything?

  3. believe in karma says:

also, does this mean that a 2nd person will be arrested? perhaps the leaked info did mention something about that but the news outlets cannot discuss it yet?

  4. sway says:

Hope media hasn’t mess anything up with this.

  5. Krisam says:

Sway- It was the nanny!! Not the media. That darn nanny is at it again!!

  6. Susan says:

More fodder to add for the defense pre-trial motions. Makes me sick. I want a fair trial for Casey so that no one can claim prejudice. More than that, I’d like a proper burial for Caylee.

  7. sway says:

ohh that ’s right …ooohh that woman , she sure gets around thses days !!!

  8. Elaine says:

I thought there were several hints today that another person may be arrested. The charges themselves indicated another may have been involved, and Bozo said something about if it was his client that was being indicted (as though it could have been someone else).

  9. sway says:

    I saw it too elaine.

  10. Krisam says:

On a serious note- I hope this does not hurt the state. This is a step forward for Justice for Caylee!!

  11. Elaine says:

Man, I’d rather not know if there is any chance that it could mess up this murder charge… To the Media–Please don’t do anything that would compromise the prosecution of this case….

  12. Krisam says:

I wonder how long the mic was open? How much info got out?

  13. sway says:

For anyone who wants to see the brief Casey in handcuffs…

    http://www.wftv.com/index.html

She was actually fixing her belt while walking in.

    Imagine that !

  14. ~Amber~ says:

Woah, this thing about the audio…I’m curious how this will factor in!

  15. Krisam says:

Elaine- And you are correct- Could this be why a 2nd indictment was discussed? Wow- hope everything turns out ok.

  16. sway says:

when it broke on the news earlier, Baez said he had to think about it. Had me a little scared.

  17. jasonsmom says:

    Maybe annie downing??

  18. sway says:

    there are so many possibilities…

  19. Krisam says:

The GJ is secret to protect the jurors and witnesses. Hopefully this will not impact the indictments.

  20. susie says:

What did Baez have to think about….just joining

  21. jasonsmom says:

sway–yea but nothing has come out about her…It has just gotten my attention…

  22. sway says:

    susie~
If the audio mistake could effect the outcome of today’s GJ. decision.

  23. Elaine says:

Anybody ever figure out who the guy was with her at the house in the green pickup???????? The neighbor seems to be the only one who ever saw him.

  24. sway says:

    ijasonsmom!

I agree, she has flown under the radar all along.

Not even her interview was released.

  25. Krisam says:

Well Guys, it is family time. Take Care Everybody!!

  26. believe in karma says:

new vid of her leaving sheriff’s office and headed to jail aka her new home

    http://www.wftv.com/video/17716171/index.html

  27. #1Laura says:

wow what does that mean exacly?

  28. Elaine says:

I’ve not thought that Annie was involved, but I have thought that she may have something incriminating to KC from the conversation she had with KC late on the 16th of June. Who knows?

  29. Elaine says:

Kind of funny how now, all of a sudden, Cindy has nothing to say. Sometimes silence speaks volumes.

  30. sway says:

I am trying to find out about the rumor of a 2nd indictment.

  31. Elaine says:

    Another new thread…

  32. jasonsmom says:

wonder if bozo did it??? just thinking out loud..

  33. Zak says:

I’m sorry, I’m still in shock over the reporter that said that Casey has been preparing all this time to represent herself…

  34. Elaine says:

    She will be arraigned tomorrow.

  35. Elaine says:

Maybe that’s what she’s been doing all this time… Googling Defensive Law… How to beat a murder rap… Legal loopholes…

  36. Elaine says:

    jasonsmom,
    LOL… I like it.

  37. sway says:

Reading up on it too while incarcerated last time.

  38. akaknoxtn says:

    sway ru here?

  39. Kim says:

I’m just now listening to the Cindy “Exlusive” Interview…wonder who makes up her team of investigators and how in the world is she paying for them???

  40. Elaine says:

She wants to run the investigation herself, search for Caylee herself, why not defend herself. That would be a certain conviction.

  41. Logical says:

This is a really weird event. It was the courthouse staff that made the mistake, but I don’t understand why there would be a mic in their deliberation room in the first place. The article doesn’t tell us how long it went on before correction.

This puts a lot of responsibility for restraint on the media, if they heard part of the deliberations and know about evidence presented today. However, if they don’t want to be found in contempt of court, they better keep a lid on it. The evidence will be out eventually from the discovery process.

  42. akaknoxtn says:

I’m wondering the same thing Kim

  43. sway says:

    yes, i am here

  44. Elaine says:

    D-E-L-U-S-I-O-N-A-L = Cindy Anthony.

    Really.

  45. Indy Deb says:

I was so excited when I saw this on the news this afternoon. Now Nancy Grace can legitimately throw the word “bombshell” out tonite!

  46. akaknoxtn says:

where did you guys get the information about her defending herself and also about the second indictment??? sooo much info. it’s hard to keep up.

  47. Logical says:

There is no way in the world she is going to defend herself. I can’t comprehend where this story got invented.

  48. A says:

Since when does Casey wear glasses!?

  49. akaknoxtn says:

    sway…i couln’t find anyone..lol

  50. Logical says:

A—I know! First time we have ever seen that. Obviously she usually wears contacts.

  51. #1Laura says:

its casys way of getting the last word on all of this, she is a control freak like cindy, though im sure cindys heart in broken and she will never be the same mabe once shes alone without the media withiut casey shell accept the fact casey did something to caylle.there is alot of evidence we dont know for the GJ to come out with 7 inditments i am still in shock.

  52. A says:

I ask, because of the pictures of her cuffed and being led into the jail…

  53. Logical says:

Someone earlier today wrote about co-dependency. Wow, was that ever good information. It describes Cindy’s relationship with Casey to a T.

  54. Elaine says:

She can’t have contacts in jail, must wear glasses.

  55. sway says:

Sources close to the Anthony family told Eyewitness News that Casey may choose to represent herself on the first-degree murder charge. Doing so would allow her to use taxpayer money to help pay for portions of the investigation. Attorney Jose Baez could remain available to her as a consultant.

    ————–this says it all.

  56. Logical says:

Laura, I agree. There must be lots of very clear and damning evidence.

  57. Logical says:

I know, Sway, but there is just no way.

  58. akaknoxtn says:

LOL! that soo sounds like something she would do! That’s prob. what’s she’s been doing at Bozo’s off all this time.. and surfing the net for info.

  59. #1Laura says:

wow if i were a floridain i would be pissed right now, tax payer money, cindy needs to leave florida also, they say these stuiped ass things WHY? do they make sense?. no. cindy is as sick as casey.

  60. sway says:

I know it is too funny.

    I couldn’t believe it myself.

Just when you think it can’t get any weirder, it does.

  61. Elaine says:

Oh my goodness… What a joke this defense would be!! Casey defending herself with Baez consulting!! You know, the word is that Baez doesn’t have the experience to defend a murder case. I doubt KC would be qualified either. I think Bozo will be found hanging by a rope at the end of all this .

  62. Logical says:

You know what? I agree with Baez. I think WFTV is practicing tabloid journalism, too, and have said that for weeks. Very unprofessional, sensationalized writing, and reporters shouting out things like, “Casey, did you kill your daughter?” Casey, where is Caylee? Casey, don’t you care? After her arrest, it was “Casey, are you a murderer?”

  63. sway says:

I think they are mad at WFTV cause the other two leading channels are always getting the scoops first.

  64. #1Laura says:

its still the same crap cindy blames and punishes everyone else but casey. i hope she will take the time, she needs to process this.she is making it worse for casey by saying these crazy things.

  65. sway says:

    George still hasn’t come home

I guess he went straight to work tonight !

  66. Logical says:

Did you see the very end of the video where she giggles about she has already said too much and is going to be in trouble now? NeJame has his hands full with her. She did good for awhile.

  67. Elaine says:

Can you imagine how quiet the Anthony house will be tonight? I wonder if Lee will make an appearance? Arraignment will either be tomorrow morning or afternoon, depending on when she is booked. Daily events!

  68. akaknoxtn says:

I really feel for George. It took alot of balls for him to do what he did.

  69. A says:

I have the feeling George won’t be going back home.

I have to say, he is the effing hero in all of this.. He went to GJ and did the RIGHT thing.. spoke up and told what he knew, despite the fact that it would prosecute his own daughter. That’s something Lee and Cindy apparently aren’t capable of doing.

  70. sway says:

    akaknoxtn~

I do too. I think he felt like he had to do it for Caylee though.
    I am glad he did.

  71. Logical says:

you know that he really didn’t have a choice in the matter, don’t you?

  72. sway says:

    yes, i do
but it couldn’t have been easy to do it.

  73. Elaine says:

George is a good man. You can see it in his face. He is suffering incredible pain, but he is handling this situation in the way that he believes is correct. I would do the same if my child were in this kind of mess. You can’t help someone like her. She must take responsibility for her actions. It’s what I’ve always believed and what I’ve taught my kids.

  74. #1Laura says:

yes your right sway i think geroge did for caylle.

  75. Indy Deb says:

I agree. I feel terrible for George. He knows in his heart that he did the right thing for Caylee.
Are any of the webcams working tonite?

  76. sway says:

How about Lee, what rock has he been hiding under ?

  77. #1Laura says:

logicl is right he would have been found in contempt of court, but i quess he could have gave them a hard time

  78. Elaine says:

webcam 1 froze before dark, and I’m getting nothing from webcam 2. it was focused on the courthouse most of the day.

  79. #1Laura says:

good question sway has anyone seen lee today

  80. FLMomOf2 says:

Can she use blogs as part of her defense? Obviously saying that she has been labeled as guilty in the public eye via the media and the Internet is written proof?

I hope that the audio mess up (was somebody on the inside paid to do that so that there would be a mistrial?), and the fact that the GJ took such a short time deliberated does add to the defense.

Good Lord, let’s hope not. I doubt the the indictment can be overturned. Afterall, it isn’t the trial, but could these affect the outcome of the trial? Maybe that’s a question for Nancy Grace to answer.

  81. Connie says:

Oh my gawd! What’s she tryin’ to do?? Look like Sarah Palin with her glasses? She’s still a skank, it doesn’t matter what she wears!

  82. GitRdone says:

Well doesn’t she look all innocent, intelligent, and trustworthy with those glasses and dressed decently?
Gimme a break. I think she needs to represent herself that would be a sure fire conviction.

  83. Tim in Colorado says:

I concur with all of you who are saying that the media is really going to have to restrain itself, in light of reports that audio inadvertently came through the sound system outside the court room.

I also have to eat some crow for some of my opinions stated here: first, that the grand jury might take a longer time than some were expecting to hear evidence and deliberate; and secondly, that they would tend to hand down a lesser degree of charges. Boy, was I wrong — they threw the book at her!

It does sound like we should be keeping our ears to the ground to hear if an indictment of a conspirator or accessory may be forthcoming. And it should be interesting to see what discovery may come out now, once Casey is arraigned. It seems pretty clear that law enforcement must have been able to clearly tie Caylee’s death to Casey in a deliberate and premeditated manner, and in a short amount of time. I find it interesting that they *also* charged her with aggravated manslaughter — not one or the other, but both!

There doesn’t seem to be any way for Casey to avoid a long, *long* time in jail — even if she beats the first-degree murder rap, she is charged with so many crimes it would take a miracle for her to get out of jail before she is in her dotage. Wow!

  84. ANNIA says:

I would not be surprised if they will arrest Cindy Anthony for obstruction of justice. Nothing shock me anymore.

It’s 8 o’clock my time & I’ve got lots to do, so I’m out of here. Good night, ya’ll.

  85. Marie says:

In one of the transcripts with Tony, Casey talks about having her glasses on.

  86. lisalou says:

I believe if you leave her in a cell with some girls from the hood she will talk!!! If this were my daughter I absolutley would get to the bottom of this, this is bull that this chick isn’t talking. I say the guards need to look the other way while she is getting her ass kicked and confessing to where she put that little girls body!! I don’t blame the parents it isn’t their fault their daughter is a nut!! People need to leave them alone!! Not only have they lost a grandchild,(sadly it doesn’t look good) but most likley a daughter!! I say they should blow up a huge poster size print of her daughter and play videos in her cell all day long till she breaks!! even if she isn’t guilty of the murder (which I believe she is) She is guilty of being a horrible mother !!She should of just left her kid with her parents and took off!!

  87. Cindy says:

If it was my granddaughter this little brat would not get away with this.

    1. I believe she is still blackmailing her parents and that is why they are trying to defend her because she is still saying she can’t say were Caylee is.

    2. When they find the body she can say the nanny did it.

    3. I believe her brother Lee is the accomplice since he refuses to take a lie detector test or talk to the police and seems to know everything.

4 Baez is an opportunist and as big a liar and BS’er as his client He sees a cash cow and is using it to his full benefit. Wouldn’t suprise me if it comes out him and Casey have a thing going.

Her original charges of theft etc. were not dropped so she still can get time for those
