Tim just said that an article of clothing (a dress) similiar to an article of clothing that Caylee was wearing was found.
Found in the woods near Casey’s cell phone activity was traced.

Tim said that they have found lots of clothing, lots of clothing has been sent for testing, and says he is not convinced that this is Caylee’s. Also, that he is very disappointed this was leaked and he is there to clarify.

That’s a big 3-yr. old. Or the dress just didn’t fit…?
Clothing sizing varies a lot, but I’m pretty sure my daughters never wore a 6 at age 2.
elaine-she could have been she didnt look that small i thought she looked big for 3. Plus its a disney world dress which i know they run smaller. Plus with my girls i buy them a size to 2 size bigger sometimes when i buy a dress. but who knows i hope they find her soon.
when they said a disovery i thought it was her body,oh my god my heart is breaking ng made it sound like it was. i like ng but my god i hope she doesnt do that again.
The size 6 is throwing me off. When my daughter was Caylee’s age, there is no way she could have worn a size 6. But it’s too coincidental that it’s in the same wooded area where the cell pings came from.

Most children that age wear a size 2 or 3 toddler. Maybe the disney clothes run differently since they are novelties but for a normal article of clothing this is not a normal size for a 3 year old.
p-absolutly my niece at 2 was wearing an 8 she was bigger than caylee but not by much. caylee looks likes the size of my 5 year old.

I have 2 girls, and they wore almost the same size as their age… I have an 8 yr-old granddaughter who wears 8-10 right now. Size 6 sounds big to me.

Still, a 2-yr old may have her clothes changed several times a day, so no matter, really.
After they left on the 16th, cell pings showed they returned home at 2:30

What NG just said is so true. My mother died in the month of February. Two weeks after she died there was a heavy snow. I cried my eyes out, thinking about my mother being out in the cold. And mind you, this was my reaction being fully aware that my mother was gone and that she was not really experiencing the cold. It is beyond my comprehension that this family wouldn’t want that baby brought in from the weather.

I agree Elaine, my mom died and the day she was buried it poured rain, a real noreaster. I didn’t want her to get wet. I cried so hard, totally disrupted because she was out in the cold. I just don’t get not wanting to find this baby.

You know what though. In all fairness regarding CA. She is clinging to Caylee being alive. No one has showed her anything of Caylees, or evidence of foul play. She has no choice but to hope, just because her idiot daughter told her she sold her.

Here Should Casey face a homicide charge, she could be going to trial with a new lead counsel. FOX 35 has learned from the president of the Criminal Defense Attorney’s Association that Baez might not be permitted to represent Anthony in a first degree murder trial.
Richard Hornsby said Baez does not meet the standards set forth by attorneys in capital cases. To be lead counsel you must:
have had five years experience as an attorney
served as co-counsel on two death penalty cases
demonstrated proficiency and commitment which exemplify quality representation in capital cases
However, Baez could still be part of a legal team. Todd Black, spokesperson for Baez, offered this response on Monday:
“It will not change the commitment of the Baez Law Firm and they are fully prepared if an indictment is handed down to represent Ms. Anthony to the fullest.”

Also, the dress is probably not Caylee’s. I just don’t think a 2-3 year old could wear a 6. My daughter is an average size 6 yr old and she wears a 7. Disneyworld clothing is probably very common in that area.

psychologist said cindy was afraid of casey but she catered to her so she would be able to see caylee.
cindy and several people claim that rushing into this case may be politically motivated. some don’t want to see case charged until all evidence is in order. da is up for reelection and he may be trying to get this case on the docket before he may have to leave office.
LP says caylee might have drowned and casey went for the shovel to scoop her out of the pool. not sure i heard that right,
will casey get another bond if charged with murder?? current bond will be revoked and she will go to jail and stay there. doesn’t know if florida gives a bond on murder.

Re: Tim Miller & finances for the search – he says they don’t want to disappoint those who donated by putting all their funds on searching for Caylee when there are so many others who need their help. Well – I have a feelng with NG and lots of online forums pushing donations to TES specifically because of missing Caylee the past 2 weeks, that their coffers have to be doing better because of that.
So what about the disappontment to all the folks who have given over the past few weeks in order to contribute to FINDING CAYLEE? If I had donated, this crap he’s putting out would p me off.
Something else is going on. Just now he tells NG he doesn’t want to talk about money at all. Well he’s the one who gave that as the latest excuse for not searching! Has to be something else going on. I’m begnning to think that yall are right who have said they have already found a body or enough evidence of Caylee’s death that TES would truly be wasteful to continue searching. Mao, look at Caylee in the little orange and white baithing suit. Caylee is tall as well as a little thick. The dress could very well be her. Plus take into account that they may have purchased the dress a little larger to either grow into or ether wear little leggings under during the winter.

I would think that if Cindy testied she wouldnt be able to tell the truth about anything, remember she didn’t have any contact with Casey for a month, except on the phone every day. T – clearly you have big emotions about Tim Miller. You are not alone. But understand that everybody doesn’t feel the same. True, the biggest hindrances to the search have been Casey Anthony and her wacky family. CA has been downright ungrateful.
But it was Tim Miller who gave money as the main reason for backing out this time. So for him to say “It’s not about the money” just contributes to the confusion. HE said stopping was about the money. Then he said it was not. So…???
The weather? Yeah, maybe that was a genuine reason. It didn’t ring true to me, though. I just don’t buy it. It seems to me that something else is going on here. And I look forward to finding out whatever it is.

Someone mentioned the other night about Casey and Lee’s conversation, and that Casey said something wasn’t level. The only thing I can imagine be “leveled” was Caylee’s grave. Padilla hinted that there was something big between Cindy, Casey and Lee and that George was always left out of the loop…perhaps this is it.
Also, I’m not sure if TM is pulling out because her body has already been found, but why not keep pushing when you discover something… TM is a good person but he can’t be intimidated this easily, he fought for his slain daughter and was empowered enough to start TES…

I don’t recall Tim Miller ever saying money was his reason for not searching. He does, however, need to make good use of his resources, and searching when conditions are not ideal is not an efficient use of their financial and other resources, especially when they have so many other demands on their services.

She has so much denied anger in her and grief, that psychologically, she has to vent it somewhere else. She has to vent it on LE, TM and anyone else who has threatened her world of denial.

This is Florida, where they deal with tropical storms, hurricanes and swamps. Surely, disposing of a body in the swamps is nothing new. So don’t they have the proper equipment already somewhere in that State. I’m thinking the evidence that they don’t want to destroy is tire tracks of the Jeep Casey was driving at the time.
I had posted on the other site, that “if” Cindy had allowed her mother to press charges against Casey, they would now have custody of Caylee and Casey would probably be in jail, and we wouldn’t even know who the Anthonys are. That things happen for a reason, but Cindy interrupted the natural flow of Karma.
When they were in court Friday, Baez assistant seemed to know more than Baez.
Brooke, I think LP was saying that Casey didn’t expect the body to sink to the bottom, and how would she get the body out of the pool without something to reach down in there with unless she was going to get into the pool herself. He made it sound like she had a plan to fake a drowning but it didn’t work so she had to scoop the body back out of the pool.

ARNuts – I hear ya re: defense attorneys, and AMEN. The defense bar does their best to make sure DP trial attorneys are on the ball so that their client cannot charge ineffective assistance of counsel, very very common basis for appeal of death row convicts, and sadly, often warranted.
I think we had come up with that scenario already….she died in the trunk of the car, she couldn’t call the police because the kid was drugged and died in the trunk, so she tried to fake a drowning — actually, we didn’t think about the body sinking because of lack of air in the lungs — and her parents wouldn’t answer their cells, so she had to scoop the body out, put it in the sandbox or playhouse, find another place, put it in a garbage bag, ride around with it until she finally had to do something with it.
If I was Cindy, I would call one of my friends from the hospital, tell them I needed a syringe filled with sodium pentothal(sic) or send one of the anesthesiologists over, and when Casey woke up, she would find herself tied to the bed, and then I would inject her with whatever, make her tell the truth, before I let her go. She would stayed tied up until she gave whatever information she needed to give to find Caylee dead or alive….and I would send Lee out to research whatever information all the while her butt is tied to the bed.
I dont hate Baez, he just looks crazy coming on and repeating Casey and Cindy non-sense. He needs to look at some court TV fottage, maybe take some pages from the greats like Johnnie Cochran, Robert Shapiro and that group.. Shouldn’t be hard to find sound bites from the trial of the century. I know Baez is lazy but for God’s sake…go to YouTube…

Sandra, for what it’s worth, I do speak from personal knowledge & experience (and not as a defendant!
). The people who make their life’s work DP cases bend over backward to be sure that they have decent attorneys from the trial level on up. There is a small but very active capital defense bar. The words “career suicide” mean nothing to them. It is a badge of honor to give the best representation possible to the “worst of the worst.”

I saw Amber on tv recently talking about losing her house in foreclosure—the money she made off book sales was used to open a spa

I do no thave any little girls (only have one son) . . . and I can’t figure out how a size 6 would fit on a 2 1/2, almost 3 year old. I know how sizes do vary though . . . my son still wears a size 8 comfortably. And there are so many countries where their clothes are so much smaller than what is produced in the U.S.
Does anyone really think a size 6 would have fit Caylee? She doesn’t look hefty to me – she looks as what I would deem as “normal” for her age . . . “Normal weight and height” is what I am saying.

My daughter is 9 and and I would say she is small to average size. She is wearing an 8 now. Last year she was in a 6. So I am not so sure about the dress findings.

Brooke – If the dress was purchased at Disney World, then I know it is running small . . . Everything I bought was a size or two smaller . . . each year we go there, I go 2 sizes up! My daughter is 6 years old & wears size 6 clothing. All through her years, how ever old she was…that’s what size she wore. When she was 2, she wore a size 2, when she was 3 she wore a size 3 & so on. Anyway, we were at disney in June & I bought her a Disney dress & it is a size 6.
Tim said that even when he was flying in, his heart sank because there was more water visible than he had hoped for. And it rained quite a lot here since he arrived.

It really doesn’t matter if the dress is a larger size than she wears now. I always bought larger sizes when I saw something I liked and put them away for later. Especially a Disney dress. Sometimes you only pick up the size available on sale or marked down. So size doesn’t matter because it is larger.
TM said the dress was near the road in the woods and in good condition. It could have been left there purposely to throw searchers off from where the body is.

I think that NG does the best she can do in a very limited amount of time.
Sherry – we do have hurricanes and swamps and all that good stuff here in Fl and we do have people trained to search swamps and trap gators and all that good stuff. As for special equipment, probably the best search tool for the more serious areas are the airboats but since these locations are near the airport most of them probably require foot searches. In some of those areas they might be able to bring in the ATV’s but that runs the risk of damaging evidence so its back to foot searches. In that situation – caution is the best tool. You want to minimize the risk as much as possible since heavy rains and flooding tend to bring out all the creepy crawlies and there isnt a whole lot you can do about it except wait for some of the areas to dry out as much as possible. Trust me – since the storm I have found three rattlesnakes in my yard and I dont exactly live in the middle of the woods.

As far as Size goes…. I can see it as being possible to be hers. The dress in the photo from the link in my above post would probably be fairly expensive at any DIsney Retail Store much less if it was purchased at Disney… My Daughter Always ran true to size, but if I were purchasing a special dress, I would ALWAYS buy big. Too large dresses on kids can easily be worn as most often they are just Long and a bit baggy, it’ s not like pants that would fall off… SO, it could be, but we’ll just have to wait and see.

Half the names she has given that are real people, I wonder if they have gone through the grief of I.D. theft. Lee seems to navigate her comp fairly well. Im having a hard time believing the dress will be linked to Caylee unless they can find some solid forensic evidence such as DNA or her if we are really lucky her name written on the care tag. The fact that its a Disney dress found by the airport closest to Disney pretty much prevents it from being used as any type of evidence. It could have come from anywhere or anyone. Disney probably sells hundreds of those dresses every day. Not trying to be a downer but that one is just too easy to dismiss.

Thanks, Nitsche! One of the reasons I think Casey did not dispose of Caylee by going into woods or swamps is because of those creepy crawlies- gators and misquitos. She’s too into her looks to want to be covered in bug bites and too fearful that a gator would get her. She either had help or she was on a bridge when disposing of Caylee.

NG seems to manipulate this case for her ratings now, I don’t much care for that. She brings Padilla on and wont let him talk, then this whole dress situation. She baited us with possible Caylee bombshell for 15 minutes, and then Tim came on.. Why not let “Dress Found’ at the beginning of the show. She knows people are tuning in for Padilla, and what inside goodies he may have for us.

I looked at the dress with a magnifying glass and the sleeves are quite a bit larger than her arms. The neckline doesn’t fit quite right either; it is down too far. Being a seamstress, I can tell you that for a picture all they had to do was pull the back of the dress together to make it fit (fit for picture taking). It is very easy to make that type of dress fit for a couple of years by altering it with a few stitches.
Kim, I think the question was “Was the dress found by a searcher?” Not “a searcher from TES.”

Zak, i don’t think they are referring to the dress that was in the picture. I had in my mind something more age appropriate and not something that looked costumish…
Zak – Not sure about it being washed out completely but Im pretty sure it would be damaged to the point it would not provide positive proof; especially if bleach is used. In the case of bleach I think its completely destroyed but I could be wrong.

Casey has maintained that she went to a “neutral” place, her boyfriend Tony’s house because she didn’t know how she was going to explain where Caylee was… or what happened to her.
Okay, I’m a single parent with 3 kids. If my kids get sick or go to the hospital, have issues at school, whatever…. my parents are the first people I turn to. They are devoted grandparents and I call them first thing. Casey’s claim never made sense to me. I think she knew they’d see through her BS. She never wanted them to find out anything. I think her original plan backfired and she’s been flying by the seat of her pants ever since.

ZAkm the minnie dress is adorable, but it’s clearly a costume or something cutesy that was bought for her. Being that she was 3, im sure she had dress up clothes and I was really thinking the Disney Dress was like cotton with a Disney print on it.
My take on TM is that he has been told by LE to keep information quiet. He has the look of someone who knows something… something hideous…. and his hands are tied. He looks like someone who has found himself in the middle of a nightmare he never saw coming.
NG was indeed rude and disrespectful to Tim. Then again, she is rude all the time and belittles and badgers all of her guests. Makes you wonder how she was brought up as a child herself.

I think Tim made a wise decision to combine searching for Caylee and Jennifer Kesse at the same time and under more favorable conditions. He said they have identified 6 areas to search.
Jennifer’s family is supportive of the search, which is completely the oppostite of the Anthony family. When will the Anthonys wake up and realize that Casey not only did this to Caylee, but she also needs to be stopped so that she does not do it again.
Padilla for El presidente’ ! Hopefully he’ll replace NG—He’s knowledgable, polite and quite a character. Some of his theories are worse than mine but what the hell–he’s entertaining.

Granted it does cost alot and they count on donations in order to be there. They can’t possibly do it for free. However, I think he was referring to “reward” money rather than donations, making his statement about leaving due to funding legitimate. The question he was asked had nothing to do with their reason or ability to be there. The donations that they use in searching is entirely different than the reward money and that is why he stated that the way he did.
I really don’t think the dress matters too much unless they find body fluids, postmortum DNA, pool chemicals, chloroform or zanax on it. It was too easy of a find, and almost seems planted. Now, if it was found with some other evidence that would be another story.
I’ll bet LP’s tv show in Cal does really well.

Maybe he doesn’t want to waste valuable time and donations to search when he knows the conditions are not right. But, he does seem to me different than he has been in earlier interviews. Troubled, more than troubled over missing children, there seems to be more. Maybe that he is being asked things that he is not supposed to answer. I’m sure he knows more about the case than any of us and he hears the speculations on NG as he is waiting to be interviewed and knows he can’t set them straight. The post I made the other day about the law having video of casey placing Caylee in a trunk didn’t come out the way I meant it. What I meant was: possible LE has videotape of Casey placing Caylee in the trunk long before the time of death—like her wanting to shop or party and drugging her so she wasn’t bothered with her like–”here sniff this and sleep”. They may have that on tape at a few places–shopping,apt complex,bars etc. That would show the regularity of how she did it:)

DSGF- potty training should be done at about ages 2-3.. so it isnt unusual if a little girl isnt potty trained fully at age 3. All children are different.

As for size 6. It is possible. Caylee’s pictures show several different Disney outfits including the fantasy princess dresses.
I was a professional nanny for several years and have 2 daughters. It is not out of the question for 3 year olds to wear a 6. Specifically a 6x. (not the same as just a 6). Plus, as someone mentioned, a lot of people buy a few sizes larger in order for the items to be worn longer.
They took volunteers to search so it could have been anyone and not necessarily one of the TES regular searchers. The searchers are informed of the rules when they start and one of those is not to discuss any findings with anyone. All it would take is one person calling home and giving someone the scoop.
Cindy’s brother has stated that Casey had run up huge CC bills, Cindy’s cards, and that CA had to take money out of her 401K to pay it off.
Adams- this is true.. my 10 month old is wearing 24m-2T… some of the 2T clothes are a little baggy on him, but they’ll be around for much longer than buying his exact size. I believe the size 6 dress is a great possibility that it was Caylees.

According to the missing child report, Caylee was roughly 35lbs.. This list shows that a size 6 dress would be only a few pounds more than Caylees recommended weight.

Cindy knows a lot. More than she wants to admit. And confessing it to the public would mean admitting she made mistakes with Casey. I think it’s shame more than anything.
I have a brother who lied to my parents all the time. He made up stories to friends and co-workers that were untrue about our family. (He claimed to hold jobs he never had, told co-workers he was supporting unemployed/ill parents, etc.)
He even stole a check from my mom, wrote it to himself and signed her name. This is what happened:
The bank called my parents and requested a meeting. They asked my parents to press charges and they didn’t . The bank then told them if it happened again, and my parent’s STILL refused to press charges, the bank would go over their heads and press their own charges.
The police backed the bank up by telling my parents my brother would be charged with a federal crime and if convicted would get no less than 10 years in a federal pen.

According to Brian it’s TES that does the trash talking… but in the same breath, he’s the one not being a nice guy. I’ve been so obsessed with this case. I was wondering if any of you knew if George or Cindy are employeed anywhere now. I know George was on the police force but is he still? How can they hold down jobs with what is happening and if they are not employeed where is the money coming from to support them?

I think to myself if they are so short on funds..why do they spend money flying back and forth. Surely somebody in Florida could give them weather conditions for searching.

I remember when my kids were this age and you could never buy clothes here that the size went according to the age..I always had to buy bigger sizes and my daughter was the average size for her age..The only difference was mainly the length..With a dress like this I wouldn’t think that length would matter that much..

George is a private security guard. I believe he is still working. Perhaps this is why we see less of him.

Now I could be all wet on this, but I recall that the media did pick up on the location of some clothing during one of the initial searches, including a dress that was size 6. What I remember in their report at that time was that the local TV reporter *may have had it wrong* about the dress belonging to Caylee, because the “size 6″ was evidently a *women’s* size 6.
I remember doing some research online about this — and about the clothes that were seized by law enforcement from the Anthony home, and remembered that Casey liked to frequent Target for clothing (boy, don’t we know that now!). And when I looked up the children’s clothing there online, I found a range of sizes from XS (extra small) to XL (extra large), but no age-based sizes! I also recall that several of the items of women’s clothing were a women’s size 6, including a Mossimo item that almost certainly would have been purchased at Target, since that is a Target brand.
Now this is not to say that other items of clothing in a children’s size may not also have been found at the same time; it’s simply that we may not have heard that much about it yet. One of my earliest posts to this blog had to do with this, and it might be possible to look up in the archives. Anyway, if this is the same clothing we’re talking about and the same search, it’s possible we might need to adjust our expectations accordingly.

Jeanne, they ARE really organized. Tim is in charge of his organization, and he is going to assess the conditions for himself if they are trying to restart the search. In addition, he was meeting with the Kesse family. He doesn’t want to waste resources searching if the conditions aren’t right for it, and he won’t start a search until it is organized and planned out. He doesn’t want to be doing that AFTER searchers arrive, do they stand around and get restless, start gossiping, etc. He stated that the other night. This man is a professional searcher. This is all he does.

Despite what we believe happened or what we think of the family I believe legally they would have to notify Caycee as the childs legal gaurdian. Never say a child can’t wear a certain size based on age or weight alone.
My girls are 3 years apart. Some clothes they can share and some the younger one wears a larger size. It depends on the cut, material, etc.
Plus, people always give me hand-me-downs and buy gift clothing sizes bigger to use later. The kids get into that and wear them early if it’s something they like. Dresses especially. It’s not like pants that would be visibly too large.

You are right. Our little guy is..a little guy. The other night he was running through the room and his pants fell right off him. What a sight. We give him ice cream and I make him shakes to put some weight on him. His dad is smaller and like that too.
Caylee was larger and chunker. But I still would only put her at maybe a 3 or a 4.
Brooke, do you have children? I have a 3 year old grandson and haven’t had to buy a Halloween costume yet. Picked them up at yard sales and things. And Casey did still work at Univeral even after Caylee was born for about six months or so. She could possibly have bought /stole them for when Caylee was a little older and learning to pretend.
Tim, I am under the impression that this was a recent find. And you are correct that women’s clothing size 5 was found sometime earlier.
I believe George was working at Lexus in June, but the new job he started in July is someplace else.
If a body was found, they would not have to disclose that to the famly unless they wanted to call them in to make a positive identification. If remains are only skeletal, I believe they can run testing and then notify the family if it was a positive match.

They may not disclose the information to the family. Under normal circumstances, maybe. But these people have not been cooperative, they refuse to give any voluntary tests… and they have already proven they will lie and cover for Casey.
They do not have to release a finding to them especially if the custodial parent is the main suspect. Since she lived with the very people covering for her, they could tamper with the investigation. I would think they only had to reveal this during discovery… AFTER Casey is arrested and charged.

n that size chart, a size 6 dress from disney ranges from 43-50lbs.. According to Caylees missing childrens report, she was roughly 35lbs give or take.. That means she was only 8 pounds under the recommended limit for a size 6 dress from disney. Because of this, I believe this dress could very well be Caylees. It definitely would not surprise me.

We vacation in Kissimmee/Orlando every year. There are shops every mile or so that sell all kinds of Disney wear. It didn’t necessarily have to come from the park. Even Wal-Mart and Target sells the stuff.

Not that I believe Caycee has a right to know anything, but at this point the fact is she hasnt been convicted of anything and she has not lost “legal” custody of the child so I still think they would have to advise her. I can imagine some constitutional rights attnys. knocking each other over to fight that case and with good r4eason. Again not defending Casey but the rights of parents in general. Regardless of who is the prime suspect – until they are found guilty or the court officially removes their parental rights I believe they would have to be notified upon identification. They may be able to slow down the notification for a few hours or maybe even a day or two but I think it would come back to bite law enforcement in the end.
Okay, how can anyone be organized in searching this case? Even this site could not keep up with an accurate time line because of all the lies, changing stories, added characters…etc.! Most of us have to go back and look up documents because it’s hard to keep it straight and current.

I came into this blog early in September, so I don’t know if you discussed this already or not.
Patrick Bourgeois was the first to visit Casey in jail. He was wearing a hat. He had his head low for Casey to see it. When she said she couldn’t see him, he took the hat off. But before he got up and left, he took his time putting the hat back on. I think what is on the hat is part of the message to her.
Frank Bourgeois signed in but did not talk to her or appear on video. There is a Frank Bourgeois near Orlando that owns a charter fishing boat company.
Matt Walker is a friend that Patrick mentions. On Gretawire someone says Matt Walker lives in NY, went to school there, and is a friend of Tony L because the writer of the statement also went to school with them.

I’m not positive on how they determine who and when to tell. However, I do know that my ex-husband is a cop and he once told me that when a body was found and a spouse or family member is suspected… they don’t always tell them the person is dead. They often question them about time lines, where they were, when they last saw the person, etc. They don’t always say “this person is dead.”
From the video clip I saw of Casey today she wasn’t looking as confident and seemed a bit nervous when they were scanning her.She looks like she’s put on a little weight too.Guess Cindy has been feeding her well..I swear if she was my kid I would have been in a mental ward by now..

Jan – Bexi – Sorry – the thought of the products being shared like that just cracked me up. Im sure someone from both parks is following this thread and cringing at the thought. My comment was totally tongue in cheek. Ive dealt with people from both parks while planning events and if you make the mistake of even mentioning one to the other they look at you like you just grew three extra eyeballs.
I found the chart with weights and corresponding sizes enlightening (great job, Bexi!), but we might want to bear in mind this list is specifically for Disney-branded clothing, and may vary slightly from manufacturer to manufacturer. But my first question would be: Do we have any inkling about what brand the clothing in question actually was? Because if the brand was one strictly manufactured for adults, all the banter about sizes and weights would be moot.
As I mentioned (and at least part of the Disney clothing list seems to agree), in Target’s sizing scheme, at least after you get out of the “months” categories for babies, quite a lot of the kids’ sizes do not run by quasi-age designation, but in sizes XXS-XXL, including the range for Caylee’s weight of 35 pounds, for which the “2 XXS” seems to be the sweet spot on the Disney chart.

I believe the dress was a 6X, not just a 6 as mentioned before. i don’t know if this was caylee’s dress but looking at Caylee it is possible that she could have worn this. 1 she wore diapers and diapers tend to hike up dresses.2 in cooler months or seasons this dress probably could have been worn with leggings 3 Sometimes you tend to buy children’s clothes a little larger so the child can grow into them, they grow like weeds.
I spent 24.99 on a pair of jeans for my 11 month old… expensive for pants that were about 14 inches long.
I do feel for Cindy and George but they have been enablers for Casey way to long and it needs to stop..She needs to come clean and they need to respect this child and help bring her home instead of worrying about Casey.There’s nothing they can do to change the outcome of this now..This should be about Caylee now and not Casey..She made the choices and now she must pay the price…

Q., thank you for that very interesting information. Many of us have struggled to maintain sympathy for the family through the antics of Cindy, mostly. I completely understand that they are in an incomprehensible situation, a horrible nightmare, and have said that repeatedly, but the ridiculous excuses and especially the attacks on others tend to take away any empathy we try to keep. BJ — I agree about Cindy. When I see her I see a broken woman. Perhaps her behavior is actually the result of a real emotional breakdown. While I hope that I would not behave as she has, I literally cannot fathom being in that situation and remaining even close to sane. I think they’d have to sedate me otherwise I’d be screaming, crying, running aimlessly searching for that baby.

However I have to say that esp. in the case of Cindy, she is getting exactly what she’s asked for by lying, harboring Casey, and also, lying. If she would just keep her mouth shut, or open it in a way that was at all helpful in the effort to actually find Caylee, fine. Sympathy, empathy, you got it.
I think her only genuine reaction was as we heard on that 911 call where she is crying and says she smelled a dead body in the car. But since then, she has totally twisted things and attempted to manipulate everything, including the very investigation aimed at finding her precious grandbaby.
So please excuse me if I don’t feel real sorry for Cindy. AT. ALL.

Everyday CA and GA have to look at Casey knowing what she to Caylee. Home arrest is more of a punishment to the Anthonys than it is to Casey, who thinks she will walk free. She has no remorse, and her parents see that everyday also. My heart goes out to them.

That was stated on the NG show tonight. He isn’t leaving because of the Anthonys. He was asked if they were supporting him and he said no. Then somebody said CA said she would never speak to hiim again.

BJ- When she made the first 911 call it was out of spite to get Casey to talk.. Then after hanging up with 911, Casey admitted to Caylee being missing, the smell in the trunk clicked in her head and Cindy FREAKED and made the second 911 call.. Thats how I believe it panned out.

GA said in his last interview with LE that he had just started a new job with Alexander Int’l, a private security firm. So wherever he is stationed, unless things have changed, he is working there thru this company.
As for CA, she is NOT a clinical nurse. She is a nurse case manager – she works in an office, doing medical records review and things like that. She does not do hands-on nursing. She last said she was on leave from her job, and that they told her she could be off as long as she needed to, and once her leave was exhausted, they had a “fund” that would continue her pay beyond her paid leave time.

With all of the statements Casey made regarding getting the house and her parents moving out, it seemed like she had a plan to eliminate them. Some of us worry that she might do something to Cindy and George, especially with the GJ coming up.

Thanks for you insights on the Anthony family. I for one realize that commentary on blogs like this can become mean-spirited and derisive, and I’m trying to avoid that if I can, so as not be part of the reason Casey hates these blogs. I think among the blogs you will find the tone of this one more respectful and focused on fact than some others, but we’re by no means perfect — and I would hate to stifle this blog in a strait jacket and muzzle people’s opinions or sense of humor entirely, anyway.
Having followed this case somewhat from the outset, and having seen various folks in action, I think a good example to follow in this regard is that of lead detective Yuri Melech, who has been dogged in his investigation at great personal sacrifice, but not at the sacrifice of his “bedside manner,” if you will, with the Anthony family. If you watch the timeline interview with Cindy Anthony, toward the end is a compelling scene in which he takes Cindy kindly by the hand and tries to explain his concerns about the case.
I think many of us here are disappointed in Cindy’s comments today, making it sound as if we should believe that it is more likely that Caylee is alive than deceased, which is, from everything we can tell here, not supported by the state of the evidence. Detective Melech was trying to get this across to Cindy, but she would have none of it. And, as much as I can empathize with Cindy in her loss (many of us here on this blog have faced similar traumas, as we have discovered as we get to know one another here), where it could possibly get her (and others who stick to a story not supported by evidence) is in trouble as potential obstructors of justice or accessories after the fact. As bad as the situation already is for the Anthonies, that would make matters much, much worse, and I would hate to see that happen.

LP said the GJ will have to have a few days at least to consider all of the evidence,e tc. So they may not immediately arrest Casey until later in week??
Judge Strickland is a former prosecutor, he knows exactly what he is doing, have faith in him. No secret searches will take place, it’s not probable. Think that is when Casey would try to escape. She won’t try to commit suicide, she would never harm herself, only others.

I don’t get a chance to blog much, but I try and read as much as I can, we have custody of a little girl who is autistic and she will be 3 next month, she is very tall for her age, she is 95% on height and she weighs 37 pounds, we buy her size 5 clothes and most of her shirts are a 5/6 so I think it is very possible for Caylee to wear a size close to that…. Do they call Casey squirrleygirl because the little assimals, I mean animals hide everything, and then the nuts could be taken in many ways…. about a body, some people think that they may have found remains, but wouldn’t they have to notify family first? I wouldn’t think that they would wait to bring that info out to the GJ, I would hope that if they did find the little angel that they would have arrested her devil mother at that time! When you listen to TM you can just hear in his voice that he is very emotional and sad.. and last but least, let me know if you start a LP fan club, he was looking pretty clean tonight!

Caylee’s “mother” either didn’t know or couldn’t remember that guy visiting in jail, Patrick B. Or she was acting like she didn’t know him. When someone lies as much as she has, it’s hard to differentiate between other lies and possible truths from the same mouth.

i dont believe that dressed belonged to caylee that picture taken with her disney dress she was alot smaller….i think someone threw that dress out to take searchers to that area because they might have been searching somewhere else and were getting close now think about if they thought the dress was caylee they may think her body is also in that area….where were they searching before i believe some one of cassies friends know everything
something also dont seem right to me why did tim have a meeting with geroge and cindys lawyer…when he came back he sounded in good faith that he was searching for caylee something seems fishy here as much as a nation want baby caylee found i am sure there is enough money…

Marilynn Lopez…. I obviously do not know the answers, but I do agree with the fact that I do not think that is her dress. Caylee is much younger in the picture with the dress, and they would not have bought her a size 6 that young. My son is only 3 months older than Caylee and he is in the 95% growth wise, so he is a tall big boy. I am just now starting to buy 6’s for him, and they are much too big, especially in length, and he is tall! So a siz 6 dress on Caylee back then…would have been WAY too big.

In the live cam picture I can see the top of a Tru Tv truck. I am sure another is Fox news and probably Chanel 9.
They will probably film witnesses going into court today. I would think they would take them in some backdoor for their privacy and also to not make this a circus.
But the way this case is going..they might pull up in limos with a red carpet.
Regarding the dress. This is a post that is on the left side of the page as you enter this whole blog area. They are skeptical about the dress.
Caylee Anthony – The Scoop Behind The Dress
If you watched Nancy Grace tonight, you’ll recall that she made a big deal out of the discovery of a dress – similar to a dress of Caylee’s – that was “just found” near the airport. During the show, Grace interviewed Tim Miller, who mentioned that the find had been leaked to a member of the media. I am that member of the media and I can provide you with the details of that find.
On Saturday, I received an email from an individual in Florida, who informed me that he was with a group who found a child’s dress in an area, not far from the airport – that was identical to the dress that Caylee is wearing in photo #3 at the following web link: http://www.wftv.com/slideshow/news/17399904/detail.html.
Texas EquuSearch did not make the find. It was found by an independant search group that had helped out in the first search for Caylee.The email went on to describe the item and the fact that the individual had an “exclusive” photo of the dress.
After receiving the email, I contacted Tim to confirm the find. As you can imagine, Tim was quite upset that the information had been leaked. Not only that, but he was also upset because the information the person was providing constituted a direct violation of search and rescue protocol.
Tim told me that the authorities did not believe the dress was connected to the Caylee case. He also said that the dress was “too big” for Caylee. As a result, I chose not to publish that information. The last thing we needed was another media frenzy, at a time in which Tim was trying to determine what to do. Grace has since picked up on the find, which is why I am addressing it now.
I am not going to identify the name of the organization involved, as they should not be judged by the actions of a single person; however, I will say that Tim told me that there are suspicions regarding the origin of that dress and how it ended up in that area

Good morning from Orgon. Once again thanks to all of you. You are a bunch of smart and thinking folks and
it’s nice to read your ideas.
I know a size 6 sounds big for a 3 year old, but my grandbaby is the same age as Caylee ane wears a size 5-6. He weighs 34 lbs.
Also I know that when we were at Disneyland in Ca. this past summer, their items of dress seemed to run smaller then sized.
We will all just hope and pray that the GJ does there thing.

I looked at the picture of Caylee in her Minnnie Mouse dress. While I believe that she could wear a size 6 in some items, this looks to me to be to much of a good
fit for a size 6.
