Thank you all. Too Kind!!
All’s well. Power is just starting to come back on around town. We personally received no major setbacks, just downed tree’s that fortunately hit the ground not the house. I will still be out of pocket for most of the week as we are clearing and cleaning. Looks like a war zone down here. I’ll take some pics for everyone to see.
Thank you to the nancy team for keeping things running, and everyone else that has been commenting so that I can catch up on everything in short order.

  6. truthfinder7 says:

  7. ohio says:

    Actually not bad Indy, 5th.
Nancy will be back. She is recuperating.

  8. ohio says:

I called her this morning and left a voice message. I said, Hey Massachusetts, this is Ohio….

  9. jasonsmom says:

Hope Nancy is resting and will be back soon…….

  10. mia says:

I just really hope tonight has something different. This poor little girl doesn’t even have respect enough from her mommy to want her to be put to rest. How sad is that. It’s like like when there’s a funeral and not a soul that cares enough to show up. Pour little soul.. how can she possibly rest in peace?

  11. Indy Deb says:

I wonder if they’re new tapes or ones we’ve heard already like last night.

  12. Maureen says:

    Rosary beads……

  13. Indy Deb says:

    A strange bird…..that’s an understatement.

  14. Connie says:

Just the sound of her voice irritates me.

  15. Connie says:

….and I mean Casey, not Nancy Grace. :)

  16. jasonsmom says:

    Indy Deb…Yea strange bird…

  17. Sandy says:

I sure wish my Dad was alive as he would find out
by just kicking her ass. ’nuff said!

  18. Bexi says:

Is there a way to watch NG on my computer? Anyone know?

  19. ohio says:

Wonder what Padilla will have new to say tonight?

  20. jasonsmom says:

Connie…Casey non emotional I lost my luggage voice…I’v been running in circles???

  21. ohio says:

Bexi, I don’t know what your computer is capable of.

  22. Bexi says:

..its capable of most things computers are….?

  23. caryn says:

When she is talking about stealing money from her mom and taking advantage of her, it’s almost like she’s proud of herself… “Look, I’m making at least SOME admission of wrong doing, so I must be telling the truth about everything else!”

  24. ohio says:

not all computers are TV capable.

  25. Connie says:

There’s a way of waching the Nancy Grace show if you go here….

    http://www.cnn.com/video/live/live.html?stream=stream1

    Gosh, I hope that works.

  26. ohio says:

And she said she used her mom’s credit cards when she had her own money… what money did she have, the $15,000 she claimed to have in the bank?

  27. Bexi says:

    Ok nevermind..

  28. Indy Deb says:

And she says “I WAS selfish”. That’s a lie!! LOL

  29. Bexi says:

    thanks connie! gonna try that.

  30. Laura says:

    hey everyone anything new

  31. Connie says:

Oh boy, Padilla is back. I’m startin’ to like this guy.

  32. Alice says:

If they are still refusing to take polygraphs they are hiding something. Casey is like a robot in the interrogation, not in the least bit intimidated. This is her first time being questioned and she’s not scared at all. This girl has serious problems.

  33. ohio says:

    Laura….
    Shhhh Nancy Grace is on.

  34. Alice says:

That girl hasn’t been scared a day in her life! She has no idea what a human emotion feels like.

  35. ohio says:

    Alice,
She certainly has an answer for everything doesn’t she?

  36. truthfinder7 says:

I like Padilla :) I don’t trust any of those Anthony’s, why not take the lie detector tests, they just couldn’t pass them …. imo

  37. Laura says:

ohio i know im watching nancy grace i just thought maybe i missed anything new, ok

  38. mia says:

this is all so sureal. my husband of 20 years was exactly this kind of liar. I’ve never seen another till I saw Casey.

  39. Dianne - California says:

Hi People…I just signed on and am listening to NG from the beginning right now. From your comments I see there is more interview with Casey on. Ok, I will comment later..
Hope Nancy (this site) and Yourturn is fine too. Hello Ohio and Sandy.

  40. ohio says:

    Laura,
    I was kidding you…..

  41. Laura says:

wow i quess thats the first le heard of the list thing what bull

  42. Indy Deb says:

What would they want from Padilla that they couldn’t get over the phone? Why would they have to go there?

  43. mia says:

man, that is some BRIGHT lights on that house!

  44. Patricia Robinson says:

this Mom casey does remind me of Susan smith in a lot of way I was in prison with her and she would sit and watch the news and actually get mad when she saw some one else do theyre kids wrong, I remember we were watching tv and the news came on and she got angry because some woman had hurt her child, we just sat and watched her. It was as if she forgot she killed her children. as if she could do it but not anyone else. there were several ladies theyre, that seem to have forgotten what they did.
Put there kids in a microwave and turned it on, cut a baby out of another womans stomach, one just beat her baby to death, yet they all acted as if they didnt do it.

  45. ohio says:

    Dianne,
Comment whenever you like, that is what the thread is for, I was teasing Laura.

  46. Stephanie says:

    What happened to Nancy????

  47. Dianne - California says:

    Oh yeah..I know..no problem!

  48. Dianne - California says:

I know this interrogation was included in the 400 page deal. But hearing her say it is really something else…she is really a sociopath..in every sense of the word! No guilt…it’s crazy..no pun intended!

  49. NC says:

Detectives making a trip to CA to interview Padilla is strange. He was only at the Anthony house for a short time and yet seems to know so much. What could he offer them that he has not already said?

  50. mia says:

Patricia – I know.. I worked in a max mens prison for 10 years. The crimes can be hideous and they all claim innocence.

  51. ohio says:

    Indy,
I think LE wants to get a written and signed statement.
Who knows, maybe there is someone else out there he wants to see personally. Like the Hawkins guy Casey was friends with that is in the service.

  52. Laura says:

wow that lady yelling is complete trash even her kid is yelling

  53. Dianne - California says:

Wow…you never know..but it does seem Padilla had a lot of information every time NG interviewed him. In my opinion, he has been the most honest. I just hope it doesn’t compromise the investigation.

  54. Laura says:

    what does reconsieration mean

  55. Indy Deb says:

I do hope they pay that guy a visit-the Marine. Something seems odd about that.

  56. Dianne - California says:

    Laura,
They are “taking another look at something” before ruling…or have ruled and making another consideration of the charge

Make sense? This is just my opinion.

  57. Patricia Robinson says:

I know the community is up-set about those strangers being there

  58. Alice says:

I’m sure that they need a written statement from Padilla. But, they could always have him fax it in. They are scrambling for any shred of information because they are running out of leads.

  59. Laura says:

    outside source hugh! maybe biaez

  60. Dianne - California says:

Those investigators..gave her every chance to come clean. They have bent over backwards..I believe.

  61. Patricia Robinson says:

Im a poet and wrote this little ditty about it
    myspace.com/Lifeteller

  62. ohio says:

Notice how her voice goes soft when she has to admit in her own voice she is wrong

  63. Dianne - California says:

Thanks Patricia…after the show I will look.

  64. Dianne - California says:

    YES…ohio…I totally noticed that..

  65. ohio says:

    Laura,
Baez cannot put money up for her bail. It would be a conflict of interest. So I am told.

  66. Debi Williams says:

I just have a comment on Caylee. As hard up as this mother was for money, is it possible that she sold her into child slavery/pornography? I also believe she is most likely dead (sadly). However just a thought that maybe law enforcement should be checking those sites for her little face. Just a thought. This mother should be put away for life in a foreign prison, not a comfortable American prison, but nothing we can do about the system. Since she seemed to really be partying those 30 plus days in full style, it is possible she sold her for money.
    Thanks for the show Nancy

  67. Dianne - California says:

She doesn’t want to admit she is wrong..but she is loving the attention. Sick puppy.

  68. Alice says:

I do believe that she either sold her or killed her. She is so emotionless and is like a freaking robot.

  69. shyloh says:

yourturntohelp glad everything seems to be looking up. Still sending you some positive energy.

  70. Kim says:

If she was “sold” where does the decomposition and chloroform come into play?

  71. Connie says:

Bexi, I don’t think that was the right link I gave you. Sorry, it’s all I could find. :(

  72. ohio says:

If she sold her, why is she so broke and stealing from her friends and family.
And for the reward why would they turn the child back in.
Casey did something with her all right, she killed her, accidental or on purpose, I firmly believe Casey is totally responsibile.

  73. Laura says:

i just have a feeling hes involved somehow, someway with getting this bail posted and it should be looked into more, remeber we were all talking about how she thinks shes a celbirty now with the sungasses im glad were not the only ones who noticed that she loves this attention

  74. NC says:

What about this theory? Suppose she did leave Caylee with this guy who lived in 218 or friends of his. It seems there was a connection between him and this Laura and Zaneida…and he visited Casey in jail and told her he wanted her to know she had friends on the outside. Was this double talk to let her know that they had taken care of Caylee’s body? Maybe she went to them and persuaded them to get rid of the body for her. She is very persuasive…gets people to give her money, loan her cars, etc.

  75. Alice says:

That’s a good question…I suppose the cholorform could be to put her to sleep to get her through a trip, on a place or bus trip without incident. But, the decomposition…there is NO answer for that except a body. But, I honestly am not sure how much evidence they actually have. If they had enough they would have filed charges for murder by now. And, they haven’t made that leap yet. I know they don’t want to jump ahead without the evidence to back it up because the clock starts ticking on a court date . But, something has to happen or she will never tell what happened.

  76. Alice says:

Looks like she got a new pair of sun glasses.

  77. sandra says:

its the same anonymous person from tennessee who posted all the bonds. What ever company gave her the book deal.

  78. NC says:

She could have killed Caylee either by accident or on purpose…lots of rumors about chloroform being used to put kids to sleep by people who want to party. Then she carried the body around until she found someone to take the body from her and dispose of it. I think she had help in this and that she keeps saying she does not know where her daughter is because she does not know where her body is!

  79. Alice says:

I’m sure she’s wearing that rosary for her own protection….it has nothing to do with her child. I’m Catholic and I just want to snatch it off of her.

  80. ohio says:

    NC,
Why would Casey agree to see a visitor that she says she had no clue who he was, yet refuse visits from her own family. That is strange,

  81. ohio says:

I would think LE would look more into who that dude was.

  82. Laura says:

NC i completly agree with you i truely believe thats what happened

  83. sandra says:

I said this before I see it is very simple and common sense. First if what Casey said was the truth , since her father was a cop she would have run to him so he could call in the forces to help. Second when she was being interviewed she would have been begging and screaming for them to look and check out her story. Third she would not have taken them on a goose chase because she would have wanted there help. Everything she said was protecting herself. Forth If Cindy believed her BS story she would have begged people to go on a search for this Zanny. She would have sold her home anything to get money to look for her herself. Look at madaline Mccan parent they hired every private detective had all there friends and family out looking . Look at the Lacy Petersons Mom she cashed in her 401 K the next day to get private help looking. You would not leave looking for your grandchild to others. You would be gone looking like Natalie Holliway’s Mom she looked for 8 months her Father looked for 1 year. Both sacraficed everything, the mother lost her marriage. The guy couldn’t handle how obsessed she was. These people are more concerned with trespassers than looking for Caylee. I do believe they need a body just like in Lacy Petersons case they charged him when her body came ashore 4 months later. Same with Drew Peterson everyone knows he did it but they need a body. If Caylee is not found nothing will happen. How she did it really doesn’t matter, we know she did it.

  84. NC says:

She knew who he was as far as I know. If she did not know him, that is even more significant. He was speaking for someone else. He came the second day she was in jail. He told her he wanted her to know she had “friends on the outside”.

  85. Indy Deb says:

This wouldn’t explain the decomp or chloroform and I truly believe Caylee is no longer with us taken by her own mothers hands…….but what if: she was so trashed from partying and the last play she recalls having Caylee was the apartment where that guy lived? But she can’t remember anything after that?

  86. j says:

Bet miss Casey is hoping to collect defense donations from hollywood starlets!

Agree with anyone and everyone who believes in Casey’s own sick little world (mind) she IS as important as Brittney Spears, Lindsay Lohen, Paris Hilton, all of the girls who have been making news lately!

  87. Alice says:

Even if they find a body it will be so far decomposed that you may not be able to find out the exact cause of death. Then, you have to prove where she was when she was killed and who was there. At this point, without her confession the case would be lacking and there is a very good chance that she will get off.

  88. Sherry C. says:

Does anyone think that LE could be going to see Hawkins and asking him to take a paternity test? I have always wondered what the purpose of knowing who Caylee’s father is. I think I might be changing my mind on this now. It could be that if he is the father it would match the DNA of Caylee and prove that the hair is Caylee’s that shows death.

  89. sandra says:

I’m not catholic but i didn’t think it was respectful to wear a rosary. Does anyone know .

  90. j says:

hmmmmmm….finally NG’s show is hitting on the questions I have been asking for weeks and weeks and weeks!

Where the heck is the money coming from???

  91. Dianne - California says:

Many cases have been proved and gotten the person convicted based soley on circumstantial evidence. I think they can get her convicted..but not with the death penalty probably only life.

  92. Dianne - California says:

I think they want the Death Penalty!

  93. NC says:

    Indy
It would explain it if Caylee was already dead from chloroform poisoning and was decomposing in Casey’s trunk. Then she panicked, got someone to take the body, left the car so it would look like Caylee was kidnapped and then went on with her life until she was busted. If that is the case, and this guy in apt 218 who visited her in jail, reassuring her that she had friends on the outside, what he was really saying is, we took care of the body and you better not talk or we will tell that you killed her.

  94. j says:

I certainly don’t want her to just be charged and convicted of manslaughter! She’d be out on the streets too quickly. Of course, then again, maybe that would be a good thing!

  95. Alice says:

Yes, there is a chance that she can be convicted. But, I’m sure she would appeal it all the way to the supreme court. If we really think about it…Casey will have to answer for this. Maybe not in this life but she will answer.

  96. Indy Deb says:

Is there any truth to the story about chloroform parties? I’ve never heard of them.

  97. jasonsmom says:

I think LE is tying up lose ends in calif..and maybe they are going to charge her soon…

  98. jasonsmom says:

There is something important in Calif..

  99. Indy Deb says:

I still swear I heard someone on a news show a while back say if nothing comes up, she’ll be charged with murder by October 1st. I just couldn’t find it online anywhere. But I did see it!!! Maybe a psychic vision? Just kidding! I only wish I had that ability.

  100. jasonsmom says:

LE just do not fly from one state to another to interview….

  101. sandra says:

Leonard padilla is in California he said they were coming to talk with his nephew and himself and they have offered to take Lie detector tests.

  102. Maureen says:

I like that train of thought NC.

  103. MauraL says:

Without a body, they need to make a circumstantial case, so they need to take the time required to amass as many details as possible to support a guilty verdict beyond a reasonable doubt. IIRC, Casey was in almost daily contact with the wife of the marine in CA (Mark Hawkins?), so maybe the detective is going to visit both of them in additional to LP. Plus, Casey ran into Mark Hawkin’s mother at a Target on July 10 and according to telephone testimony Mark gave on July 17, Casey had called him about a week earlier (so around the 10th of July) to say she had something to tell him that she had already told her mother and brother and that she didn’t know how he was going to take it. Casey was also talking about moving to California.

  104. jasonsmom says:

LE does not need to be present when lie detector test are done…

  105. MauraL says:

Sandra, you are correct that it is disrespectful to wear rosary beads. They aren’t jewelry and they aren’t good luck charms (I hate it when people hang them from read-view mirrors). Rosary beads have a set number of beads and people who use them to pray keep track of the various prayers by counting the beads. So it’s the prayer that benefits–nothing to do with the beads themselves.

  106. Dianne - California says:

And..again can someone tell me the connection with this Mark Hawkins?

  107. M. Smith says:

    To answer the last posting…

I am Catholic and Rosary beads are prayer beads that are held in the hand while each prayer is recited. They are not
meant to be ornamental as in jewelry and worn on one’s person like a necklace. It was explained tonight that someone had given the family these for her, obviously to show that prayer was continuing to all involved. But, the Anthony family is not Catholic so they obviously do not know the significance.

  108. jasonsmom says:

Maural..so are they may-be going to calif.to get sworn statement’s frm Mark and his wife?

  109. Kat says:

And I still say if they are putting together a murder case, it will be a death penalty case. If so, they have some extra hurdles to cover to make a good DP case over just a good murder case.

I missed Nancy the first time around, will catch the next round in a couple of hours. I do think there is something to the Saw Grass apts, apt 218, and the friends that she has there. That thing abotu the guy coming to visit – very interesting theory.

    Wonder if we’ll ever know!

  110. Dianne - California says:

Anybody? What connection is Mark Hawkins?

  111. j says:

NG needs to get ahold of a really good profiler for her show.

Hope LE has a really good profiler.

  112. Maureen says:

I did find it interesting in the questioning, that Casey didn’t find it odd that the baby didn’t miss her, But, in the next “quick to fill in an answer” moment, she says, It would have been different if it was my mother! Interesting, she let that slip out. The baby didn’t get upset at all….just wanted to talk about her shoes/story…..didn’t cry out for grandmom or mom…

  113. sandra says:

Thank you Maural , I have many catholic friends and I know I have never seen them worn around their neck.
    I saw this on line
ORLANDO, Fla. — Detectives are leaving Florida Tuesday to search for missing Caylee Anthony as the child’s mother remains jailed. An Orange County Sheriff’s Department official confirmed that six investigators will be talking with possible witnesses outside the state for clues into the whereabouts of the child.

Detectives have said lab tests show Caylee’s decomposing body was in her mother’s car, and Anthony is their only “person of interest” in the girl’s disappearance.

  114. MauraL says:

On one of the Florida news channels earlier this evening, it was reported that LE is obtaining lie detector tests for Casey’s recent boyfriend’s (Tony and Ricardo) and Amy. The reporter said the purpose was not because LE didn’t believe them but to confirm the testimony they had given.

I have mixed feelings about Cindy and George refusing the lie detector tests at Lee’s insistence. Maybe he pointed out to them that they wouldn’t merely be asked if they had anything to do with Caylee’s disappearance but would additionally ask if they believed Casey was trustworthy (no), had a history of lying to them (yes), would be capable of covering up a crime (yes), etc. And also, if Jose Baez had already instructed Casey not to take a lie detector test, then her refusal would have looked much worse if her own parents had taken the test. She would have looked guiltier by association.

  115. j says:

Cindy’s been wearing a cross since the beginning (not rosary beads.) Who knows if she wore it prior to this saga.

Little miss Casey is so self absorbed, she probably thinks it will make other people believe she is really a wonderful, good mommy, deep down inside….

  116. jasonsmom says:

j…you are so right there is one that works for the FBI in the Orlando area and has a show on court/tru T.V..I want to say her first name is dale??? She seems real good…

  117. M. Smith says:

Does anyone here know if a mental evaluation was done on Casey and if the findings can be read anywhere?

I am interested in knowjng whether someone who repeatedly lies in the obvious fashion that she has been, is knowingly being deceitful – or does she perhaps really BELIEVE the lies are the truth, as in the way it can be said that someone is “living a lie”…

My opinion is that she is too cunning, and she DOES know she is lying…but I wondered what sort of a clinical explanation there may be…

  118. Tracy says:

    ninety-seventh!

  119. Tracy says:

    damn phone. Hehe

  120. Indy Deb says:

Maureen-I”m so not proud of this but when my daughter was a baby, if I took her to her Grandmas (my ex mother in law) she didn’t cry when I left her there and then she would cry when I came to take her home. It totally broke my heart though. I’m sure the reasoning wasn’t the same as we’ve always been very close but it still happened that way.

  121. Maureen says:

a psychiatric eval wouldn’t necessarily be made public, she is protected by HIPPA laws.

  122. Maureen says:

Indy, exactly my point. The baby didn’t cry out for her grandmom most importantly.

  123. Laura says:

i also found it intresting that she said if caylee talked to her mom she would have been upset it sounds like cindy was more of a mom to caylee and casey did slip on that one i completly think if anyone could get the truth from casey it is cindy and i do think cindy knows the truth of what happened at this point,i think le should give cindy a lie dector test ask her again, and if she says no they can leak that

  124. NC says:

The person I think who came to the jail to let CA know that everything had been taken care of and she better not talk is William Waters. I think she was planning to get money to leave and go to CA and also to pay off the person or persons who disposed of Caylee’s body
Hawkins is the guy in CA, right?

  125. truthfinder7 says:

Maureen – they didn’t release the psychiatric report but did report Casey’s overall mental status was: “difficult to describe”

  126. Kat says:

Mark Hawkins connection – he went to HS with Casey. He is now in California in the military. His mother, Ann Marie Chase, still lives in town. Casey ran into his mom on 7/10. Also, according to Hawkins who called to report this to LE, on 7/10, Casey called him, told him she was planning a trip to California, and said she had something to tell him, something that had upset her family. He said they had “daily” contact for the few weeks prior to this call.

  127. Laura says:

who is william waters i have never heard that name before

  128. Dianne - California says:

Ok..thanks Kat…I guess I just missed the report on him. Thanks again!

  129. Dianne - California says:

    Yes…ditto what Laura said!!!???

  130. Laura says:

wow who ever mark hawkins is i hope le is gonna stop by his house while there in californa didnt they already interview him i do remeber hearing is name somewhere

  131. jasonsmom says:

Laura…He came to the jail to see her..She seemed to not know who he was…they had him on video visiting her in jail…

  132. Maureen says:

For laymen her overall mental status is “difficult to describe”. The official psyche doc would have a more indepth evaluation.

  133. maria says:

    who is this Hawkins guy?

  134. Laura says:

ok i remeber who your talking about i heard that tape along the way casey didnt seem to remeber him but its hard to tell with her because she lies so much she could have had an act on

  135. jasonsmom says:

He I think said he went to school with her..and wanted her to know she had friends on the outside…

  136. jasonsmom says:

Laura…I know ..I sometime go crosseyed trying to remember some of these things..

  137. Brooke says:

Was the jail convo with Waters recorded?

  138. truthfinder7 says:

Yes the Official psychiatric eval does have the more indepth evaluation but hasn’t been released, only the statement of her mental state of being “difficult to describe” was released….. that was quite awhile back

  139. sandra says:

Criminal Profiler Says Casey Anthony is “Punishing Everyone”
Go to the 14th and read the profilers comments

  140. MauraL says:

Never mind what I wrote about the wife of Mark Hawkins. It’s page 298 of the discovery documents, and the report says Casey was in daily phone and internet contact with “Mrs. Hawkins.” It was clearly a typo and should have read “Mr. Hawkins.” Casey is referred to as Mrs. Anthony in the report.

But Mark Hawlins is an active Marine stationed in California and Casey had been talking to him and emailing him every day apparently (according to his testimony). So if Corporal Melich is traveling to California to speak to LP and Rob Dick (LP’s associate who heard Casey’s abduction in Jay Blanchard Park and “script” story), maybe he’ll be paying a visit to Mark Hawkins as well.

The “script” story is so bizarre I wouldn’t be surprised if OSCO has asked Rob Dick to take a lie detector test. And I’m not surprised that Casey gave that story when she was leaving the jail when she first got out on bond around August 21. She knew from what Yuri Melich had told her that video evidence showed that she was not on the steps of the Sawgrass Apartments when she said she dropped Caylee off for the last time. She needed to come up with a new story that portrayed both Casey and Caylee as direct victims of crime (e.g., they held her down and took her baby), but she made another error in claiming they had given her a printed script of lies to tell the police for a month since she will now claim that she can’t find the script. And what a coincidence that the script was only good for the same period of time she had before her mother called the police!

  141. j says:

I am totally missing something here. Is there something in the transcripts that said Casey had a visitor who said “everything has been taken care of and not to talk?”

    Please let me know…

  142. Laura says:

caseys life is so shady who knows who she was involved with what was she sleeping with 3-4 guys i mean shes such a good lier shes the type that could talk you into believing its day when u know its night dangerous person to be around dangerous person to trust ive known people like that in my life

  143. dsh says:

I just can’t understand being a Parent myself & a Grandma to 3 beautiful Grandbabies how Casey’s Mom & Dad are defending her. Casey is a grown Woman & Caylee is still just a baby, if she was my Daughter she would not be living in my house, I would make sure that she stayed in jail until she started telling the truth, maybe by staying in jail & seeing what it is really like she might give it up. It breaks my heart to think that baby might be dead or even Casey sold her for money since she has no heart, if that was my child & I had nothing to do with her disappearance I would be screaming & crying to anyone that would listen to help find her & being Grandparents The Anthony’s should be helping the police instead of defending their daughter & fighting with everyone who wants to help. Casey is making Susan Smith look like an angel, that should say it all. Her statements to police that she is afraid her Mom will never forgive her sounds like an admission to something. I just pray the truth comes out soon.

  144. Indy Deb says:

Did Hawkins come forward with information on his own after hearing what was going on or did LE contact him after reviewing her phone records?

  145. jasonsmom says:

Maural…I was thinking the same about the script..Okay the 30 days are over you can tell the truth now!!!!!!

  146. Maureen says:

Night all, hope yourturntohelp is putting things back in order.

  147. Bexi says:

The “script” is BULL! If there WAS a script why would Zeneida have Casey tell people that Caylee was with Zeneida last in the first place? Just sounds like bad lieing to me, and I would know, having a pathological lieing sister, and exfiance. I know it all too well.

  148. j says:

Thanks Sandra. Believe that is one post I didn’t get a chance to read. We were getting the aftermath of Hurricane Ike in Ohio that day. Power kept going off. Finally I just gave up.

Wish NG would get ahold of a good one for her show (to go along with the Psychologist.)

  149. 2shado says:

Yes, she would tell a lie even if the truth fit better.

With all the attention — she now seems to think she is Lindsay Lohan or some other celeb type . And undoubtedly relishing in her new found “status”. Little does she she know she idsnothing but an odd curiosity and a sad commentary on human nature.

  150. Kim says:

    NC,

William Waters is the name that Padilla dropped last night…remember he said that “someone” was trying to link together, William Waters, Amanda and Zenaida. We’ve gotta get a copy of those transcripts from last night.

  151. Kat says:

See above re: Hawkins. It’s in the discovery docs at page 298. He called the copes on 7/17 to let them know about that call I detailed above from Casey “about a week before” 7/17.

  152. Indy Deb says:

    2shado-put so well!!

  153. Bexi says:

She’s “famous” under some ugly ugly circumstances.. Who would want to be known as the 22 year old who killed her own daughter? Yeah, thatd make ME feel good!! -.-

  154. Laura says:

the script was a ploy from biaez to cover all the lies casey told probably his plan but padilla ruiened it ide love to hear someone ask biaez about that one

  155. Bexi says:

If Baez was in on that “script” scheme, he’s a total idiot.

  156. Laura says:

goodnight everyone my finger hurts from typing so much

  157. j says:

dsh, sadly this family is just not the same as ours. That is obvious with the way Casey has turned out.

I was a bit surprised when the psychologist tonight indicated that Casey must have been “hurt” very badly as a child (for her to become this way.) I tend to lean towards NG’s comment though, that she is just plain mean. Not necessarily that someone “hurt” her as a child, resulting in her behavior, but rather that she was spoiled absolutely rotten and was never ever made to accept any responsibility for any of her actions.

Just recalling some of Cindy’s conversations makes me believe Casey could “never” do anything wrong (Cindy has probably made excuses for her since day one.)

Further, I suspect Cindy was very demanding, narcissistic, and got her way with George, and when miss Casey came along, she coddled her, spoiled her, and made Casey believe she was the most important one in the household.

Then, when little precious Caylee came along, precious Caylee “stole” Casey’s thunder, importance, etc.

Sick. The entire situation makes me sick.

  158. Denise says:

When Melich said, video evidence proved she wasn’t at the Sawgress Apts. when she said she was…last time she dropped Caylee off. I think he messed up! He said the law requires them to keep the video tapes for at least 2 days, did he forget at least 30 days went by?

  159. Bexi says:

J- I TOTALLY agree with you. Cindy spoonfed everything to Casey her whole life, and now she is a complete cold hearted spoiled brat who will do ANYTHING to get her way (even if that means killing her daughter, accidental or not, to be “free” and possibly get back at her mother).

  160. mi says:

Nancy Grace is way behind. She said the tapes were just released. They are old stuff to the people on this board who are way ahead of Nancy. Does she have any other guests besides Padella, or has she ran them all off.

Nate was a roommate I didn’t know he had, and why was his face blacked out? Anyone know?

  161. sandra says:

a number of different blogs have said that george is not Casey or lee’s biological father and that they only married 18 years when he filed for divorce in 2005

  162. Bexi says:

Denise- LE does bend the truth to try to get a confession out of whomever they are interrogating. That is no secret. But the matter of fact is, even AFTER saying that her, she did not say “check those tapes again! I was there” or ANYTHING around those lines.. I think her “uh huh” response let us know she was lieing about that as well.

  163. Indy Deb says:

I think her thoughts have been along the lines of “How dare they try to make me work or help out or make it on my own or put my baby ahead of myself!” And then “How dare they put my baby ahead of me!”

  164. Dianne - California says:

    Denise,
I just think Melich was baiting Casey..and it worked, because soon after that is when she came out with the “Script” story. Her lies are getting so blurred…she can’t even remember the timelines now. That is what lieing does for a person! It all starts to unravel.

  165. Bexi says:

mi- i wouldnt want my fae on national news in a situation such as this. i dont blame him. he isnt in it for the fame like a lot of these people involved.

  166. Bexi says:

sandra- theres no solid proof to this. they probaly has casey out of wedlock… it can happen heh.

  167. Dianne - California says:

Goodnite all you good people for now. I have homework to do! Oh, yes I am way over 18. I am finishing my college degree!! Just thought I would put that little disclaimer in.
Take care , Hope Nancy and Yourturn are back soon…bye

  168. MauraL says:

The name of the high school friend who made a surprise visit to Casey in jail was Patrick Bourgeois. He said he used to hang around with Mike Walker. Casey didn’t seem to remember him well. He told Casey “you’ve got a friend outside” and “let me know if you need anything.” He said he and Mike were sorry for her and on her team and “there for her.”

So this is not the same person as the Marine Mark Hawkins who is in California, who called Yuri Melich on July 17 after hearing about Casey’s arrest. He has never visited Casey since she was first arrested as far as I know, and I doubt Casey has been talking to any of her old friends since the discovery documents were released. She would know that anyone she talked to would be reporting the conversation back to OSCO, plus the phones in the house are most probably being tapped.

  169. sandra says:

On greta’s site they said that JP Chatt has be located and they are interviewing him regarding the remarkable likeness (see pictures)http://humbleopinion.wordpress.com/2008/08/24/could-this-be-caylees-father/
    He is in California

  170. Indy Deb says:

I think he said they video for a couple days almost out of sarcasm. Most sophisticated surveillance is either saved to hard drive or disk for at least 30 days or on a rotating 30 day schedule.

  171. Bexi says:

sandra- wow.. they look a lot a like. Sorta scary!

  172. Indy Deb says:

Am I mistaken or did Casey say to Lee in one of the jail conversations that she needs to talk to someone named Mike?

  173. Kat says:

OK NG coming on again now. I’m trying to keep from punching my television – Baez is as crazy as his crazy client. WASTE OF MONEY AND RESOURCES? Ugh. Yall all said it an hour ago :)

  174. Bexi says:

Kat- is it a new episode? Or the repeat?

  175. carlos says:

Some one out there answer this question ? I’m a pirvate investigator, this is my story. on july 18 2008,
I arrived to the location where the car was left at 7501 E-coloinal dr. there was 4 cameras facing this parking lot .The car was backed up right next to the dumpster, (I said it was backed up next to the dumpster.) if you ran out of gas you will park your car in a regular space, facing foward. but she pulled in to the lot and then had to push the car back in to the space next to this dumpster. Now amscot has 8 cameras on their location and I know they record and keep their tapes for 30 days. why did police not pick up this tape and why hasn’t the police gone to the landfil to search for this little girl? But with time gone by, it is to hard to look into the land field.
    thank you all.

  176. Bexi says:

Last time I checked, they arrested EVERYONE for check fraud.. Why would they let Casey get away with it?

  177. NC says:

William Waters is listed in the records of people who visaited Casey in jail when she was first arrested. He is also known to have lived in the Sawgrass Apts. In the video clip of his visit with Casey, he said he had come to let her know she still had friends on the outside. I take that to mean that he was using double talk. If you read back at my earlier post, I write about my theory that Casey killed her daugher either by accident or on purpose and carried her around in the trunk, then enlisted help from people such as Waters or his friends to get rid of the body. I do not think Casey knows where they put Caylee and that is why she says, I don’t know where my daughter is.

  178. Bexi says:

Carlos- if it wasnt too late they probaly did recover the tapes, they dont have to release that information if they do not want to. The more information that is made public, the easier it is for the defense to come up with a solid story.

  179. Bexi says:

NC thats very well possible.. however im not sure if Casey could trust just some friends… I would believe she had Lee help dispose of the body, though.

  180. sandra says:

bexi I think they look soooo alike he was the roommate of who ever was her then boyfriend I guess she slept with everyone. I heard she made Jesse take DNA test saying he was the father and he turned out not to be.She never told this guy .

  181. Indy Deb says:

Was it ever confirmed that the car was actually out of gas? As for the video cameras, is it possible they’ve been put there since all of this. Are they in working order?

  182. Carrie says:

Maybe she traded Caylee for drugs or money that’s why she was so concern about how her mother would react

  183. Carrie says:

This case really baffles the mind!

  184. dsh says:

Did I hear right? They are setting up a web site to ask for donations to help with her defense fund?…Now that takes brass ba– you know what. .I feel like it’s the TWILIGHT ZONE with this family? Are we on the same planet? I guess some people will contribute since all these bail bonds men keep helping her get out…I guess since OJ got off on 2 murders it is possible we may never know an end to this case, reminds you of Jon Benet, @ least her family had some closure & could bury her. Casey Anthony is a true sociopath, a female Scott Peterson.

  185. Bexi says:

Carrie- how does that explain the decomposition in the trunk?

  186. sandra says:

Carrie you and 10 million other people

  187. joe d says:

    Indy Deb
Padilla stated Casey’s car was out of gas–for real.

  188. Kat says:

Carlos, according to the police interviews with the Amscot people and Johnsons Towing people, the car was parked nose to the curb, not backed in.

Bexi – rerun of tonight’s episode. I almost always miss the first airing, still haven’t adjusted to central time after 8 years living in this time zone.

Is the video of the Waters visit with Casey still available? It was available online at one time.

another interesting tidbit – Amy H told investigators that Tony had “found” her checkbook and she was goign to go get it back from him. I don’t know what that means, if anything, maybe Casey just left it at his place and he found it. But something about it made me wonder if maybe he was in on some of it all with Casey.

  189. Bexi says:

dsh- isnt it sick? Instead of raising money to help find Caylee (who they claim is STILL ALIVE) they are earning money for CASEYS DEFENSE FUND!! Unbelievable.. They are really showing their behinds with this one.

You know, speaking of OJ- sounds like the defense is taking the approach OJs lawyers are.. That the Crime Lab is framing Casey.. how desperate can they get?

  190. Sherry C. says:

Wasn’t the script story made up immediately after the 400 page docs came out? I remember thinking that that was a desperate move by Casey to cover up all her lies. Blame it on the script she was given-that should take the heat off of her-yeah, right!

  191. Kat says:

Oh and the car being out of gas – we don’t know. When he went to get the car at the tow yard, the tow yard guy said that George said the guage was on empty and that he was going to get some gas. He went to his car and brought back some gas to gas up the car and he drove off in it, Cindy in the car they came to the lot in.

  192. Kat says:

Baez is priceless – “We’re all seeing the games that are being played.” Yeah, I sure do see the games being played, by his soulless client!

  193. shyloh says:

This link sums Casey up to a T.. in my view

    http://www.mcafee.cc/Bin/sb.html

    Profile of the Sociopath

  194. Bexi says:

Kat- I remember in one of Caseys statements, she said her gas gauge was wrong, thats why she “always” ran out of gas. (Because her running out of gas wasnt an unusual thing according to one of her friends). If that was true, her car wouldnt have shown “empty”..

  195. Bexi says:

Hahah Kat- good one! I think the LE is just doing their job. They arrested Casey, just like they would with anyone else who commits check fraud. What did Baez expect? Let her get away with it? Yeah right!

  196. Bexi says:

shyloh- thats definiatly Casey alright! I believe she has a borderline personality disorder too.

  197. Indy Deb says:

George picked the car up? I was under the impression Cindy was the one that did that since she described the “PIZZA” odor in the car.

  198. Carrie says:

I think Casey is loving all the media attention. Maybe they should leave it alone and see what she spills.

  199. Bexi says:

Hmm theres a cop at the Caseys residence… I wonder if the protestors are back again?

  200. Bexi says:

indy- lets not forget the “dead body” smell turned into pizza.

  201. 2shado says:

Indy Deb——#1….thanks for your “ditto” (your 8:47 post.

    #2 re: your 8:57 comment…….Right-On!!!!!

  202. Sherry C. says:

I think the guy who visited Casey in jail, the one she didn’t recognize, that his name was Pat or Paul Bouchard or something like that name. William Waters is a new name to me until Padilla mentioned it.

  203. Carrie says:

The tone of her voice on the audio is like nothing I have ever heard. So calm and unconcerned.

  204. Indy Deb says:

Bexi~I know. That’s why I capitalized and put it in quotations. When a nurse compares the smell of decomp to pizza….hmmmm

  205. Kat says:

George went to the tow yard twice. The first time he went alone to see about the fees and what he needed to pick up the car.

The second time, he and Cindy went together. They complained about the fee & tried to get a discount (denied). George went out to the car with one of the tow yard guys (Cindy stayed in their car, she was upset and he apologized for her), the smelled the smell & opened the trunk to see what it was. They found the white garbage bag with a pizza box, flies flew out and there were maggots in there. The tow yard guy threw the bag over the fence near the dumpster (this bag was recovered by police). The tow guy said about the smell, “That’s rotten!” George didn’t reply. Gased up the car and drove it home.

Casey did say that she was always running out of gas, and that the gauge was stuck on half-full when she ran out of gas. George said when he looked at it, it was on empty.

  206. Carrie says:

Does anyone think that she has confessed to someone.

  207. Bexi says:

indy- my mother is a nurse, she has smelt decomposition just from being an RN.. she also went down to Baton Rouge after a day or two after Katrina hit, and she said there is no way you could EVER forget or mistake the smell of a dead body.

  208. joe d says:

Baez is doing what he THINKS is right for his sorry ass client. Defense Attny=Defense . Prosecuting Attny= Prosecute the defendant. Have to remember NOBODY knew who this guy was till he took this case. His payment is all the publicity. Not a bad move on his part. I personally could never be a Defense attny. because if I heard the client tell me some sick shit he/she did to someone I’d beat them within an inch of their disgusting life.::) I know, I shouldv’e been born in Rome’s heyday.lol

  209. Stephanie says:

I saw a get well for Nancy – what is wrong?

  210. Bexi says:

    She had surgery, stephanie.

  211. Carrie says:

I wonder how she sleeps at night?

  212. Bexi says:

BTW thats not Nancy Grace were talking about.

  213. Stephanie says:

If I may ask – for what? Poor Nancy – get better!

  214. Carrie says:

She must sleep well because she always looks good for the camera!

  215. Bexi says:

Carrie- A sociopath wouldnt have a problem sleeping at all… ugh!

  216. Indy Deb says:

The broken gas gauge story was probably used as an excuse for constantly running out of gas, when in fact she really ran out and registered as empty on her way to steal her next round of loot so she could fill up.

  217. Stephanie says:

I know it is not NG – lol

  218. Bexi says:

I have no idea for what.

  219. Teresa Van Wert says:

carrie I dont think so she is used to lying it comes naturally. The cops should of taken her rught to the police station and make her take a lie detector test when they had her.

  220. shyloh says:

Bexi I never realized Sociopath’s were that bad off. Geesh they don’t even have a chance with medication.

  221. Stephanie says:

Thanks – I wondered where she was (o: Get better Nancy (o:

  222. dsh says:

j, you are right not all families are the same, I guess it goes to show where Casey got her family values from…Her Mom, I really don’t mean to beat up on her Mom, but Please she has a 3 yr old grandbaby out there somewhere, where is her heart? It is just so sad. They do need to keep her in jail in the general population, not isolation like she is a superstar.

  223. Elaine says:

What happened to the web cam?

  224. Bexi says:

oh yeah, sociopaths/borderlines there is NO medication that can cure them… only therapy teaching them HOW to be remorseful, or thoughtful of others, although they would never understand WHY they have to. very sad.

  225. Bexi says:

dsh- at first Cindy was ALL FOR looking for Caylee, suddenly, it just stopped.. I think she knows.

  226. carlos says:

Bexi- yes, but if they saw her on the tape they could see if she open the trunk of her car..

yes ,the cameras were working I asked .

its easier to make her talk ,then go look for evidence.
but now they have to look for evidence because she not talking.

  227. Kat says:

If this link works, it’s to video of the stranger visit to Casey in jail:
    http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=53b_1217040290

  228. dsh says:

Carrie, I do believe in a vague way to confessing when she said her Mom would never forgive her. what could she be talking about?. that’s why I belive Mom & Dad know more than they are saying, tha are afraid of a lynch mob.

  229. Bexi says:

    Kat he looks so scary…

  230. Indy Deb says:

They can’t literally make someone take a lie detector test. I believe it is entirely voluntary. If my child or grandchild were missing, I would go straight in and tell them to hook me up to get me out of the way so they could pursue the real criminal. These folks have offered absolutely nothing!
As for keeping her isolated in jail: As sick of her as I’m sure they are it’s probably more so for their benefit that she stay isolated. It is for her protection but for theirs as well. Don’t need to give her the opportunity to hold LE liable for any harm that might come to her.

  231. Indiana says:

Carrie: I really doubt it. I dont think she will ever confess to anyone.

  232. Bexi says:

dsh I think she was referring to not reporting this sooner.

i dont think she told Lee or Cindy about what really happened until after the forensic evidence came out.. thats when the mood REALLY changed for all of them… especially Cindy..

  233. Kat says:

Cindy was the one who gave Casey up to the police in hopes of seeing Caylee. I don’t think she had any clue what she was opening up by jacking Casey up and handing her over to the cops. I don’t think in a million years she imagined Caylee was dead. I think once she found out (the day the “evidence” of decomposition was confirmed) she flipped 180 to defend Casey at all costs. Knowing her grandbaby was gone, she couldn’t face losing her daughter, and she flipped into crazy mama bear mode.

I think if she had any shred of belief that Caylee was alive, Cindy, who raised her, who had a room for her in her house, if Cindy still really believed she was alive? She would be sobbing on every TV in the world begging for help to bring her home.

She knows Caylee is gone, and now all her energies are devoted to “saving” her daughter.

  234. dsh says:

Bexi, I do agree with you, It’s just hard to believe that a gma would keep such a secret for her grown child.

  235. Bexi says:

dsh- Yeah I know what you mean, but you know, I think her mindset right now is “ive already lost my granddaughter, i dont want to lose my daughter too”.

  236. Elaine says:

    thanx

  237. Kat says:

I hate that they bleeped all the names that guy said on that video.

Bexi – yeah he’s a bit creepy looking!

Re: confession from Casey – I don’t think she could keep this secret forever. She will blab it eventually.

  238. MauraL says:

    From Nancy Grace last night:

LEONARD PADILLA: Well, the — reason she took them and told them about Apartment 210 is because she has friends that live at 218. There`s also another thing that`s very interesting. That just came up here in the last week.

There is a William Waters that works at a restaurant down the street from where her boyfriend Anthony lives, and somebody linked Zenaida Gonzalez, who was the one that filled out the application at the Saw Grass Apartments.

    GRACE: Saw Gras Apartments.

PADILLA: They linked her through a Laura Rose, trying to make it look like she had communication with Lee and Casey through William Waters. I don`t know exactly what that means, and I don`t know if law enforcement has checked that out. But, obviously, it was a ruse to see…

The name of Casey’s friend who lives at the Sawgrass Apartments is mentioned in the 400 pages somewhere – the name is not William Waters. Padilla was talking about two things – the friend from the apartments and the Waters-Rose-Zenaida connection IMO.

William Waters is owner /boss @ Houlihans

Amy Huizenga worked @ Houlihans as a server

William scheduled an appointment to visit Casey @ jail but it was canceled.

Someone named Laura Rose left William a message @ myspace

Laura Rose is also a friend of Beba aka Zenaida

  239. MauraL says:

Oops. Meant to put a spacer in there. The information about William, Laura, etc. at the bottom of my last post came from another website (I think a comment on Scared Monkeys).

  240. Kat says:

I’m with you up to William’s myspace – got a link? That’s some pretty good detective work there, Maura!

And I’d not heard “Beba” as a name for Zaneida G.

  241. dsh says:

If I believed or knew for a fact that my Daughter did something to my Grandchild, nobody could hold me back, I would get the confession myself. This is a grown woman we are talking about, not a teenager who might be scared. I live in Fl & it just floors me that more can’t be done to make her talk.

  242. Kim says:

    MauraL

I believe the friend that lived at Sawgrass Apts was Dante Salah–he is actually a friend of Tony’s

  243. MauraL says:

The info came from this thread (scroll down for the post or search the name William Waters). There was no link for the MySpace page, and I checked MySpace unsuccessfully for William Waters and Laura Rose.

    http://scaredmonkeys.net/index.php?topic=3384.1160

PS – Several websites have mentioned this connection apparently (some several days ago) and one commentor thought LP was getting his “insider information” from reading the blogs that are closely covering the case. LP didn’t say where he got the information, so maybe it’s true that he’s trolling the web like the rest of us.

  244. I just can’t understand how Caylee’s mother can have any rights! They need to put her in jail leave her there til she brakes. No phone call, nothing but meals. They need to give her some kind of a shot to make her tell the truth so she won’t have a chance to lie and no visits with her family or anyone, nothing no one. I bet she would brake then. Solitory confinement for how ever long it takes! Caylee has no rights . Looks like Caylee has nothing. Why should her mother? The law is making a fool of themself in everyone’s eyes. Maybe she through her to the Grocdiles???

  245. dsh says:

Bad thing about Casey playing superstar & all the media attention is that if it ever does go to trial they will ask to move the trial to a different city. I was on a jury for a murder trial and the defense attorney’s always try to turn it on the police or labs that they messed something up. The suspects always have more rights than the victims. That is our justice system.

  246. Kat says:

Well I am a fan of our justice system. I think sentencing is screwed up, but basically it works. I may have my opinion (and I ain’t shy about it) but the law presumes Casey innocent until proven guilty. She should be treated the same as everybody else, I think. Instead she’s turning into a sicko rock star. Just like OJ. Ugh.

But no matter what happens, she has probably already blabbed the real truth to somebody. If not, she will. It’s just a matter of time until the whole story comes out.

  247. Kat says:

Maura – thanks – I have mostly been hanging out right here. But there is TONS of stuff out there on scaredmonkeys, websleuth (I think somebody found printouts from that one in the Anthony’s trash…) etc.

I would like to know exactly what she said to the tattoo artist when she went in for that “Bella Vida” (vita?) tattoo on 7/3. It does seem like a “memorial” thing. Was she weepy? Did she make up some big tale? There was just a summary of his interview in the reports supporting one of the warrants.

Anybody got any info on what more the tattoo folks had to say?

  248. dsh says:

There are good & bad with anything. I agree that she is innocent until proven guilty. We really don’t even know for sure what happened it’s all speculation, she is turning into a superstar & if the media would focus more on the search for Caylee instead of her then I think the truth will come out sooner because she is loving the spotlight regardless of why she is in it. All I was speaking of the justice systen is how the suspects have all the rights, That is why I think OJ got off, the jurors got sick of the whole circus it turned into.

  249. Bexi says:

the only thing I can find about the tattoo artist is that he had said Casey had spoken of her boyfriend, but not her missing daughter, Caylee… hmmm.

  250. Bexi says:

His name was Danny Colamarino BTW.

  251. Betty says:

Gas in cans she stole. Where did she go when she burned the gas? How many gallons were in the tanks?Did anyone check the mileage ? Could she maybe have traveled to Lake Okachobbee or Ocala National Forest & dumped the body & come back home? It’s no more than about 100 miles to either one from Orlando. Could she really not know where Caylee is because she deliberately blocked out the highway # or how to get back there? This is so similiar to the little boy in Leesburg who disappeared and the mom killed herself! They never found him either! Wasn’t there a follow up about the gas?

  252. roller24 says:

yes I saw it somewhere, they had a diameter of how far she could have gone.

  253. Sherry C. says:

That’s what I heard, Bexi, about her conversation with the tattoo artist. I saw the interview on Geraldo At Large awhile ago.

  254. roller24 says:

I think that if her parents would confront her with the fact that they no longer believe her and that they can no longer retain any hope of finding Caylee alive, then she would crack open with the truth.
The only emotions that have been evident is when her parents were on the stand at her first bond hearing.
As long as she thinks that they might buy her story, then she will maintain it.
The posts by her family members and others that know her, would indicate that they have been buying her lies for a very long time (i.e. her pregnancy hidden for almost 8 months.)
She wont crack until they do.

  255. dsh says:

The really sad thing is if her parents do know or are hiding information from the police they could be charged. That’s why it is so hard for me to believe that they know anything with her Dad being a former cop. The whole thing is just heart wrenching. As for the protesters who are standing vigil outside their house, I understand they probably think they are helping maybe thinking Casey will break under the pressure, but they really need to be respectful of the neighbors. The neighbors are not part of this circus & don’t deserve to have their privacy invaded. I believe the truth will come out soon, Casey’s lies are catching up to her & she will break eventually. her Parents are the key, they need to have some kind of intevention. I don’t think they have them for habitual liars though.

  256. Mao says:

Do you think the DNA results can’t point specifically to Caylee being in the trunk? It just seems if they had, they would have enough to go ahead and charge Casey with murder. I think it’s odd that investigators have left Florida to seek other leads. What is that all about?

I also don’t get the whole link about Zenaida and her sister Samantha. They said there IS a Zeneida with a sister named Samantha. WTH is going on?

  257. Mao says:

I wanted to add that I absolutely think Casey did something bad to Caylee. I just don’t understand these twists.

  258. dsh says:

I believe the police know more than is being released to the public. Including what they found in the trunk of her car, DNA & all. They just have to gather all the evidence to make a charge stick. I don’t think they would be paying the search teams to look for Caylee’s body if they just believed she was abducted or that Casey gave her away. There is more to this than any of us know now.

  259. Lyndie says:

I’ve watched this case from the very moment Cindy Anthony went on Nancy’s show. From that point I have concluded the following…

Casey is more petrified of her mom’s response than the loss of Caylee. When Caylee went missing, Casey found comfort in the company of many men. Watching the drama unfold daily, I see that she is still enveloped in the company of men. . .

First: She was interrogated by several different men and seemed quite comfortable to weave a story that would keep their focus on her.

Second: Jose Biaz waltzed in and you see him protecting her when released from jail by holding her close to him and holding her hand. She spends endless hours in his presence because she is safe and attended to solely.

Third: Big body guards and protective agents are there to protect her and wrap their arms around her to keep her safe.

Point . . . Casey seems to really enjoy the attention and protective essence of men in her life right now. I haven’t heard of any women (that might resemble her mother’s demeanor) interrogate her nor have I witnessed any women protect her from the media frenzy. If Casey was initially terrified of her mother’s response and felt that her mother would never forgive her, wouldn’t it seem helpful for a woman that resembles her mother’s demeanor and mannerisms to interrogate her? Maybe now we have to see if the prosecutor’s team will use this tool. What I mean to say is that anger is usually transferrable; I believe that a skilled female interrogator could mimick Cindy Anthony and cause Casey to transfer anger that reveals some semblance of truth. In a twisted mind, it would seem logical to attack the weakness versus the strength. Casey’s strength is her lies…all the lies she has been able to fool men with. Could she do the same, or would she be as good at deception with a demanding and controlling woman that reminds her of her mother?

    Think about it.

  260. T's says:

Whats the chance that Casey would have known what type car the mystery Z drove? Did the guest card require that info, I think not. Now the Z can’t find somewhere to live. wasn’t this what Casey stated in the tapes that the Z moved a good deal. How would Casey have gotten access to the guest card anyway? I would have believed this lady had she not showed up again, there is a connection somewhere to this lady Z.

  261. Just Me says:

I am copying a post from another site- apparently this is an article from The Globe- Kristina Casey’s friend sold her story:

Mom Murdered Little Caylee and coldly dumped girl’s body. By Sharon Ward and Bob Burns bobburns@globefl.com

Monster mom Casey Anthony cruelly murdered her angelic 2 year old daughter, Caylee and fed her tiny body to hungry alligators! That’s the chilling conclusion of Casey’s best friend Kristina Chester, 23, who reveals her shocking analysis– and the Orlando mom’s darkest secrets– in an explosive world exclusive GLOBE interview.

“I think she probably took Casey’s body to a lake and fed her to the alligators,” says Kristina, who last saw the mother and daughter just four days before the precious tot disappeared.

“That beautiful little girl didn’t deserve to be dumped like a piece of garbage.”

Kristina, who has also spoken to Casey since her arrest, became friends with the brunette when they were 17-year olds at Colonial High School in Orlando, FL. She practically raised her 2-year old side by side with Caylee– until the girl vanished in mid-June.

And while she once supported her pal, Kristina now believes the worst.

“I was her best friend and I wanted to believe Casey at first,” says Kristina. “I couldn’t imagine that she would have had anything to do with Caylee being missing. I wanted to s upport her, but now I can’t because in my soul, I think Casey murdered Caylee.

“It just breaks my heart because Caylee adored her mom.”

Now, Kristina tells GLOBE other shocking revelations.

She believes Casey “quietly killed” Caylee by smothering the tot or drowning her in the family pool– after first knocking her out with chloroform.
The motive for the heinous crime was a massive grudge Casey held against her own mother, Cindy– Caylee’s granny.
As GLOBE previously reported, Caylee was last seen alive on June 16, but she was not reported missing until July 15– and then by her grandma Cindy, 56, not Casey.

Then, the 22-year old mom told a pack of lies to cops including that she left Caylee with a babysitter, who lawmen discovered doesn’t exist.

Casey was jailed on charges of child neglect and making false statements, but now is out on $500,000 bond and under house arrest at her parents’ Orlando home.

She is also being hit with unrelated charges of check forging, petty theft, and illegal use of an ID for allegedly stealing checks from her pal Amy Hueizenga, 24.

Police recently revealed evidence and tests showing Caylee’s corpse had been in the trunk of the 1998 Pontiac Sunfire car Casey drove. The auto was found abandoned at a check cashing store.

Police sources add that “significant levels” of choloroform were found in the car’s trunk and Casey’s laptop showed someone had been seeking information about the knockout drug.

Meanwhile, lawmen and volunteers are using airboats to search gator-infested waterways near Casey’s home for signs of Caylee.

While Kristina believes Casey fed her daughter to the alligators, others theorize she may have murdered the child, put her in the Pontiac’s trunk, drove to the check cashing store and droped the body in a dumpster.

Then, she called her boyfriend Tony Lazarro, who lived in a nearby apartment, to come pick her up and abandoned her car in the lot, some experts suspect.

But Kristina believes she knows why Casey may have murdered her child– as a twisted revenge against her own mom Cindy. She’s horrified by reports that pregnant Casey wanted to give up her baby for adoption– and fought with her mother about the plan.

“When Caylee was born, Cindy was the first person to hold her in the hospital,” says Kristina, “Casey never ever got over that and held a massive grudge against her.

“It was always in the back of her mind and it has always been a source of anger toward Cindy, who she said often interfered with her raising Caylee.

“Her parents gave her everything she needed for her baby– a gorgeous nursery, new stroller and new equipment. Then as Caylee grew older, she had babysitters on tap so she could go out.

“Killing the chld would be a huge slap in the face to Cindy, who was very controlling where Caylee was concerned.”

And Kristina also reveals HOW Caylee must have been murdered. “I belive that using chloroform to suffocate Caylee would be very easy to do because Caylee was so trusting.” she says. “She would have let her mom do anything to her without a fuss.

“Casey would have planned for a quiet death and I think smothering of drowning her would be something she would do because it would be quick and painless.”

Kristina last saw Casey and Caylee just four days before the little girl vanished. She met them at Lake Underhill Park with her son on June 12.

“Everything was fine, absolutely normal,” recalls Kristina. “The kids played nicely and Casey was as bubbly as ever. We had a great time.

“Caylee was a great kid– she was very easy to look after. She was mostly well-behaved and she would always share her toys with my son.

“Caylee loves pandas and she was a happy little girl who was full of life.

“After that, I went on vacation to Canada for a week and Casey had a new boyfriend, so I thought she was maybe hanging out with him all the time.

“I spoke to her via MySpace on the computer when I got back and she said that we needed to get the kids together.

“The next thing I hear is that she’s in jail and Caylee is missing. I was absolutely frantic– I love that little girl like my own and I hadn’t got a clue what was going on.”

Kristina went to the Anthony house and spoke by phone to Casey on June 16, the day she was jailed.

In the recorded jailhouse conversation, Kristina is heard desperately begging Casey, who had lied to authorities about Caylee’s disappearance from the get-go, for information about the tot’s whereabouts.

“Casey, you have to tell me if you know anything about Caylee,” Kristina pleaded, “If anything happened to Caylee, I’ll die– you understand, I’ll die.” To that, Casey replied, “Oh well. Oh my God. Calling you guys? A waste– a huge waste.”

Kristina says she was “shocked at how cold and callous” Casey sounded– and stunned that her friend didn’t seem concerned her child was missing. She was “more worried” that no one cared about what she was enduring in jail.

That’s typical for Casey, Kristina says. As other sources previously told GLOBE, Kristina believes Casey, who she now brands “a liar”, wanted to be free of Caylee so she could go to clubs and party.

“I know that she found it hard having a baby being so young,” says Kristina. “She did like to go out and have fun with her friends and I think maybe she felt that Caylee was a burden who stopped her living the life she really wanted.

“My son keeps asking me where Caylee is and I can’t tell him anything– he’s too young to understand. But it pulls at my heart strings when he asks and I struggle not to cry. IT’s devastating. God, there was no need to kill her.”

OK I found the interview with the tattoo artist. Danny Colamarino is the owner of Cast Iron Tattoo. One of his artists, Bobby Lee Williams, did Casey’s Bella Vida tattoo on 7/2:

Synopsis of Melich interview with Bobby Lee Williams at Cast Iron Tattoo on 7/17:

Mr. Wiliams stated he knows Ms. Casey Anthony from coming into the tattoo shop and getting tattoos. He is a tattoo artist and he completed a tattoo on her left shoulder that read “Bella Vida” on 2 July 2008 around noon time. This took approximately 30 minutes to complete. While she was there they talked about a new guy she had just started dating. The guy wasn’t at the shop and she informed him that the guy was in New York at a Yankees baseball game. Mr. Williams said the last time he saw Ms. Anthony was 15 July 2008. She came to the shop and engaged in conversation with his boss (Danny Colamarino). She was asked by his boss how her daughter was doing to which she replied she was fine and she was with the nanny. She then scheduled a tattoo appointment with him for Saturday July 19, 208. She informed him that she was bringing a friend but she never told him who that friend would be.

  263. Kat says:

FYI Tony was in NY from 6/30 until 7/5.

  264. Kat says:

Could she have put Caylee in the trunk that day she backed up in the garage & borrowed the shovel (6/17) then drove around with her in there until she got the body out of the trunk & abandoned the car at Amscot on 6/27?

Crazy Padilla’s thing one night was this period of 24 hours with no cell phone activity on Casey’s phone. Wasn’t that 6/27 to 6/28 or so?

Wonder if Tony’s 6/30 trip was pre-planned or whether he found out what happened, how he might be involved, and ran to NYC to hide out until the dust settled.

THings that make me go Hmmm…

  265. mia says:

I wonder, what with all the shouting and media and attention…

Does Casey and her family realize that their lives will NEVER be the same? Casey might as well give herself up because there’s no way in hell she’s ever gonna be able to just go out and shop or party without encountering a lot of very angry people….

Really, I gotta wonder why they try to hard to get her off and bailed out and home. That’s never gonna be a “home” again.

  266. Laura says:

is kristen the woman who was on nancy grace a while back

  267. sandra says:

Lynde I totally agree with you. She thrives on male attention. I thought if they would get a female with some psychology background she would have been so much more effective. Just the fact she lead them on a goose chase showed she had no fear or respect for them. Through out the interview the men waviered back in forth between yelling and being nice which showed she intimadated them. I can’t believe no one thought to get her to talk bring in a tough woman or Cindy herself just sitting there.

  268. Chloe says:

I think the reason the LE is taking so long to arrest her is because I think they feel the whole family might be involved. And if this is true to arrest a whole family, they would really need to have all their facts, evidence and everything else credible to hold up in court.

  269. Chloe says:

    anyone agree with me?

  270. Hope says:

    my theroy:

i am starting to think that if everyone was to just leave them alone, media, protestors, and bloggers… maybe casey would start to “need” the attention and then she might spill it. it would be like a drug withdrawl for her, that is what it is attention is her drug of choice… any one have feelings on this?

  271. mia says:

I don’t think that would work Hope. In her mind it’s over and done. If people left her alone now, she’d be back out partyin’ (or trying to) in a week. Liars like that usually have a very unusual way of being able to just “turn off” the crime, stories, lies, whatever. It’s all about THEM doing what they want.

She won’t admit to anything that she doesn’t want to and/or that will end up in her being restricted from the things she wants to do. She’d just start to move on like she was doing before all this came to light.

    But that’s just my opinion.

  272. NC says:

William Waters visited Casey on July 29 at 7 PM according to the visitors log. Patrick B was the first scheduled visitor on the 28th but was a no show.

  273. jasonsmom says:

Chloe…LE is looking for Caylee they want to find her..They are taking there time because they only have one shot at this and they want to get it right the first time…..It takes time to track down all the lie’s and get the evidence that they are infact lies..

  274. Tracy says:

NC, I think Patrick Burgoise (sp) is the neighbor. I recall hearing Cindy or George saying “Pat, help me out here”, or something to that effect. I think it’s the name of the black man who is often seen calming George or Cindy down.

  275. Shelley says:

This thing just keeps going on and on and on. I am really begining to wonder when if at all the truth is going to come out. Maybe with OCSO going to talk to Padilla and Dick they will get some new info. They certainly are not going to get it from Casey.
And how about Baez saying OCSO is just being dramatic (paraprase) basically?
I think OCSO is doing a good job. I mean they only have what they’ve been given to go on and that isn’t much cosndiering who i’ts comming from.
Have missed you all. Been busy!

  276. Debi Williams says:

There are times when I do believe in certain ways to bring someone to tell the truth. Maybe she should be put in a cell that is freezing cold, no clothing except maybe a cloth to cover her private parts, beans and water for food, she would crack after a few days. She has no regard for this child so why should we have any regard for her. I said in an earlier post that maybe she sold her. I truly believe she actually killed her so it was just a thought and something to consider. However because of the evidence of a dead body, then I know it is most likely impossible she is alive. I bet the police are so frustrated with her they could pull their hair out. I get that way just listening to those interviews Nancy is showing from the jail.

I don’t know where you’re getting your information, but it isn’t correct. Here is a link to the visitor log containing Patrick Bourgeois and William Waters names:

    http://blogs.discovery.com/criminal_report/files/casey_anthony_visitation_log.pdf

This log was released on July 28, so the visits scheduled for the 29th had not taken place.

As you can see, Patrick Bourgeois made a visit to Casey on July 24 at 9:00 AM. They had a conversation that was recorded that lasted about 90 seconds. Kat linked to the conversation video in a post on this thread at around 9:38 last night if you want to review it. Someone named Frank Bourgeois was supposed to visit Casey at the same time as Patrick. Frank was the no show, but Patrick did make the visit.

As noted, the visitor schedule was release on July 28, so we can’t tell which scheduled visitors on that list actually saw Casey. For instance, Cindy and George were scheduled to visit Casey at 9:00 AM on July 29. However, news reports for that day indicate that Casey had to make a court appearance, so the scheduled visit that morning had to be canceled.

On the same day, July 29, and on the same visitor log schedule, William Waters was scheduled to visit Casey at 7:00 PM, but I can find no record anywhere stating that he did show up, did not show up, or if he did show up, whether Casey was available to see him or willing to see him. There is no confirmation online from OSCO and there were no news reports regarding this visit. There have been no tapes released of any phone conversation William and Casey had if he did show up.

has a stamp that Patrick was a no show. I assume that if there are no other stamped as no shows, they did visit. You can see where WM.Waters was listed as a visitor on this visitors log.

  280. Hope says:

the no show stamp is more or less at franks name. also who is this stefany kostakis chick?

  281. Marina says:

has anyone heard why George Anthony is no longer a cop? He has a bad temper. I recall hearing Casey didn’t get along with her dad. Could there have been some terrible wrongs set upon Casey….to create the heartless, emotionless, cunning personality? Also, I never believed the Anthony’s story about the pool ladder being out of place. It appeared to me as a ” lie” to make it appear possible accident.

  282. kt says:

There is a video of the jail house visit of Patrick Bourgeios where he tells Casey she has friends on the outside. Casey doesn’t seem to recognize him or remember him from middle school/ high school. Seems believable. It’s the only time I’ve seen her act flustered. I figured he knew who she was in school (she’s pretty and outgoing) and he was a “nobody” who she didn’t know existed. It looks like he’s just trying to insinuate himself into the situation while she’s friendless and in jail.

  283. MauraL says:

Patrick Bourgeois showed up. Frank Bourgeois did not. The 90 second video phone conversation at the jail between Casey and Patrick can be heard here:

    http://blogs.discovery.com/criminal_report/2008/07/audio-from-case.html

If you listen to it, you will clearly hear him give his name to her.

The OSCO pdf file listing Casey’s visitor schedule was dated July 28, so the visits from Cindy/George and William Waters on the 29th had not taken place. It’s a fact that the visit for Cindy and George on July 29 was cancelled, so just because they were listed on the document doesn’t mean the visit took place. It didn’t.

Nothing has ever been said about the visits scheduled for William Waters on the 29th or for Stephany Kostakis a few days later. No news reports, no released conversations, etc. So even though William Waters was scheduled for a visit, there is no evidence that it ever took place.

  284. andie says:

Another interesting thing is that Casey claimed Jesus Ortiz was Caylee’s bio dad.. In Kiomarie’s interview with the cops she stated that she was not allowed in the house when Cindy was home because of her ethnicity. She said George was “cool” with her being there but if Cindy was home then no-go. Interesting that she named this hispanic person as the dad.. maybe as a stab to Cindy, being as racist as she apparently is. Who knows really, maybe she just said it because she knew he was deceased and took advantage of the drama factor. Funny though that no one else has stepped up and said they are possibilities as well. May be Mark Hawkins?

  285. Ro says:

Have any of you heard fo the Alice Crimmins’ case? She was young mother whose 2 toddlers went missing, later their bodies found, and I believe Alice Crimmins charged with their murders? This occured in 1965, I recall there were a few books about the case. It is eerily similar to the Caylee Anthony case. Coincidences in dates, too, as the Crimmins children found in mid July, the mother figure a “party girl”, etc. It’s interesting.

  286. MauraL says:

PS It was on July 31 that Casey requested that only immediate family members be allowed to visit her at the jail, so unless Stephany Kostakis is a member of LE or on Baez’s team, the visit would have been refused.

  287. andie says:

It amuses me that she keeps referring to a “nanny”.. Caylee would have had a freaking “babysitter”. She just likes the sound of it I think. Nannies are usually live-ins and do other chores for the family, like light housekeeping, etc. And did u see Cindy on Greta giving a tour of the house like she was Jackie O or something? Geez, Casey’s pretentious attitude makes me sick among other things…
Casey also brings to mind the nature vs. Nurture argument. Not saying G and C are stellar parents but sometimes people turn out that way. Ive seen really nice families with rotten kids, just plain bad seeds.

  288. NC says:

Stefanie was a friend of Jesus Ortiz and was quoted in his obituary. He is the person whom Casey identified as Caylee’s father. She claimed he was killed on the way to Caylee’s bd party but Caylee was born in Aug, he was killed in May.

I hate to even say it but I have to wonder if that is possible and she knew where to put her to accomplish that.

  291. jasonsmom says:

Debi…It may be a sad truth that she did in fact do just that…

  292. Arleen says:

NC … I do not believe it was Ortiz because if Ortiz was the father of Caylee as money hungry as the Anthony’s are they would have been trying to get some social security for Caylee until she was at least 18 or so.

I think Casey made that up in part because she told some people that Caylee’s father died on his way to Caylee’s birthday party ????

Also if he is the father the Ortiz’s should go after the Anthony’s with a wrongful death suit and they could get some of that money the Anthony’s are planning on making.

I don’t see any problem with this.
