As an FYI, a source close to the investigation has told me that ABC News 20/20 has offered the Anthony family one million dollars for an exclusive interview. The same source claims that AIM Productions from Nashville has also offered the family one million for book and movie rights.
I will continue to post updates throughout the day and will be on the scene at the Anthony home later tonight to cover a scheduled protest.

I knew it!!! I just knew it! And the Anthony’s codemn the media for their exploitation? Aren’t they now doing the same for monetary gain?
I hope I read that they have donated all the proceeds to a missing children’s charity. That is low.

The operative word here is “EXCLUSIVE”.
I think it is a sham for people who want to make money by the apparent murder of a tiny little beautiful baby girl. If anyone does make this situation in to a movie or book all the profits should go into the non profil organizations for missing children. they need the newest equipment to search for missing children wheather alive or dead. If they start the search before it is a “month” old there may be more success. It would not have mattered if the search for Caylee had started immediately she would still be dead. At least there coulc be closer . Many people nationwide are morning for this child, including me. I originally prtyed she would be founf alinve and now I just pray justice is done and her remains are found.
I am sick to my stomach— I think it should be illegal to take blood mney from anyone offering to profit from the disappearance of a missing child.
If moveis and book deals are to come- it should be after the case has been tried in a court of law not before…and the family should not make any monetary gain off of a childs death!

This all makes me sick. I’m so disappointed in ABC. This isn’t about ratings, it’s about Caylee. How can anyone lose sight of that, regardless the “payoff”.
That’s probably why the Anthony’s needed the attorney so that contracts can be negotiated and he can figure out his percent of the profit.

Look at all that have! She’s always got at least one boyfriend and plenty paying attention to her. She meets the “girlfriend prerequisites” which are (1) skinny and (2) easy. That’ll do it for about 80% of men.
A funny Padilla tidbit: On YouTube I found that he had run for Mayor of Sacramento in April. During a debate he was questioned about his having spent some time in jail. Leonard’s reply was “Let me correct you…it was prison, not jail” (laughter). Apparently he’d neglected to pay his taxes for two years.
Tim Miller is the real hero….all monies should go to Equusearch….this movie/book or whatever should be called As The Stomach Turns, or Orlando’s Answer to The Adams Family…..ABC/20-20 has a site for comments and I saw exactly how upset people are (and rightly so) over this whole ordeal…it’s not about that baby any more…it’s about the most selfish people I ever saw in my life…..this is what the world’s come to. God help us.

Hope you Anthony’s and money hungry people can sleep at night because this woman isn’t and has not had much sleep because I love this child along with most of the world better then any of you. This is unreal ! Please bloggers pass the word around on every website you can post on that we who loves this child will not hand over blood money and buy the book or watch the movie. I heard on Fox news this morning that her family was responsible for the bond being met– guess they can afford it now that 20/20 has offered up the big bucks! ONLY IN AMERICA, can you portray such a family and them reap the rewards for lies, deceit and murder! Tim Miller and Leonard Padilla exploiting Caylee, yeah, right! This just sickens me beyond words!
I had to take off from this blog yesterday because this has stressed me out so much! My heart hurts and I can’t help but question, “Why, Lord”? I know that God is still in control and we may never know this side of heaven why this has happened to Caylee– She will have to answer for what she’s done. I just want justice for Caylee.

I heard yesterday that she had initially posted the $300 for bail on the uttered and forged checks charges. Perhaps that is what the Anthony’s were responsible for, as the big bail was supposedly from two anonymous sources.

Court documents show that Anthony’s parents, George and Cindy Anthony, put up part of the collateral for her release from jail. The source of the money was not immediately clear. Joe Von Waldner, the Orlando bail bondsman who posted Anthony’s bond, told ABCNews.com that he was working on behalf of a surety company, which he declined to name. Von Waldner said he was working with another bail bond company called MacDonald Bail Bonds, which declined to comment.

And they’ve also mentioned a firm out of Tennesee that “may be interested” in the rights to her story for a book/movie deal. Just deplorable!
Thanks for the info Kim. I find these vultures deplorable. Nothing is more despicable than monetary greed over a sweet little child who is still missing, or no longer with us.
I would suggest a little less speculation and hysteria, a little more skepticism and realism.
There is no way that ABC or 20/20 (nor any mainstream legitimate news organization) would pay the Anthonys anything for an interview, let alone a million dollars.
Now someone like National Enquirer, that’s another story.

They do not pay for the interview but for the exclusive rights to the video and pictures that will be show tonight. THAT is what ABC is pay the Anthony’s for, the exclusive rights. Just a way of getting around the interview thing.

For ABC News to offer this family a million dollars for an interview is disgraceful. Publishers that offer book rights or motion pictures owners that want to “star” this family are beyond understanding and show they will do anything for ratings and to make money.
Caylee’s mother never had it so good, just b basking in the limelight. Why should she talk about what happened to her child? It’s all about her. I can’t imagine why the Orlando Police think she will be safe out on bond. if anything happens to her, she will end up just a young, unfortunate misunderstood mother.
She should be in jail by herself. In due course, she would be willing to talk. All the do gooders and funders are working against the system. And the grandmother claiming the child is alive is another major distraction. She a decoy to prevent authorities and people from knowing what happened to little Caylee. Bye bye ABC news if you pay any kind of money to showcase this family. I’m sure they would go on any TV show for free.
