For those of you watching the Nancy Grace show while at your computer. Here’s your thread to discuss the show while it’s on and others can follow. I will post video, and transcripts when available.

Note: Some of the regulars here on the site are named Nancy. Inevitably, during our Nancy Grace open threads, someone wanders onto this site and starts chatting up one of our regulars thinking they are talking with Nancy Grace.

We’re quite certain Nancy Grace follows our blog, but during the show she simply doesn’t have time to blog live with us. Our Nancy’s are better anyway.

Back from vacation on Monday, she performed well the first night, but on Tuesday she registered her best ratings ever in both Total Viewers and the A25-54 demo.

At 8pmET, she finished 2nd on cable news in the demo (behind FNC) and 3rd in Total Viewers (behind FNC and CNN).

The main story Grace has been covering for more than a month has been the Caylee Anthony case.

TRANSCRIPT:

NANCY GRACE, HOST: Breaking news tonight. Police desperately searching for a beautiful little 3-year-old Florida girl, Caylee, after her grandparents report her missing, little Caylee now not seen for 11 long weeks, last seen with her mother. So why didn`t Mommy call police?
Bombshell tonight. Mom, Casey Anthony, walks out of jail free, free on bond again, an anonymous party posting a $500,000 bond, this after significant amounts — not traces, significant amounts — of the powerful chemical solution chloroform discovered by the FBI in mom, Casey Anthony`s, car trunk. Sources confirm mom, Casey`s, computer reveals multiple visits to Web sites on chloroform.

And tonight, grandmother, Cindy, goes on the attack, blasting not only volunteer searches led by Texas Equusearch but also attacks the original bounty hunter who got her daughter, mom, Casey, out of the jail the first time. Why?

Investigators now go on record confirming there is forensic evidence of human decomposition in mom, Casey`s, car trunk.

Casey Anthony Bonding out Again

Casey Anthony, mother of missing toddler Caylee Marie Anthony, is expected to leave the Orange County Jail mid-morning on Friday, officials said late Thursday.

Anthony’s bail of 500,000 on a child-neglect charge has been posted, a jail spokesman said. Bail already had been satisfied on 11 less-serious charges.

Before leaving, Anthony, 22, must meet with a home-confinement worker to iron out terms of her electronic monitoring.

A release from the office of Jose Baez said, “Casey Anthony is being bailed out of jail. The individual posting the bond prefers to remain anonymous, and is doing it because of the belief that Ms. Anthony’s constitutional rights have been grossly violated. Mr. Baez will have no comment about the bond and will respect the privacy of the anonymous party.

The release also said that neither Baez nor Casey Anthony will be working again with the bounty hunter that posted Casey Anthony’s bond originally, Leonard Padilla, claiming that he can’t be trusted. (source)

Please Help me send a message to Tim Miller

In light of the recent comments from Cindy Anthony regarding Tim Miller of Texas Eqqusearch

Tim Miller misrepresented his intentions, and is falsely accusing me of not cooperating with him, when it is evident his motives were to obtain publicity for his organization at the expense of exploiting my granddaughter’s disappearance.

I am now asking for your help. Tim Miller is out busting his butt trying to find Caylee and all this lady can do is run him through the mud. Her wrath and drama is unwarranted. So here’s what I’d like you to do. Let’s send a message to Tim that says we know better. We’re not buying into what Cindy is saying through the press. He needs our support and to know that we appreciate all the work he does trying to get these children home.

It won’t take a second, and you can donate as little as 10$ (skip lunch tomorrow if you have to), and be confident that it is going to an organization that does nothing other than to search day in and day out for lost and missing persons.

Clueless at court, A new attorney, and more Disgraceful comments from Grandma

The short of it:

Baez shows up at court today not realizing it had been canceled, The Anthony’s have retained a new attorney as reported yesterday, and Cindy resleased the following statement to WFTV by email:

Leonard Padilla and Tim Miller came to me under false pretenses. Both claiming their sole purpose to find Caylee alive. Tim Miller misrepresented his intentions, and is falsely accusing me of not cooperating with him, when it is evident his motives were to obtain publicity for his organization at the expense of exploiting my granddaughter’s disappearance.

I really want to try and understand Cindy Anthony better. I don’t mean to be overly rough on her, and there is a lot of speculation regarding this case, that I don’t even touch on this blog out of respect for the Anthony’s. I realize what she is going through must be rougher than I could possibly fathom. However, her continued attacks against people trying to help find Caylee are unwarranted and flat out disgraceful. I’ll repeat what I have continued to say on this blog.

There is no more legitimate of an organization than that of Texas Eqqusearch. Tim Miller is a stand-up guy that has done and will continue to do more for missing children than people like Cindy Anthony can even Fathom. Publicity is not now, nor never has been, “motive” for Tim Miller and his organization. For Cindy to claim it “evident” is completely 100% false.

Casey Anthony 167 Bail Bondsmen away from being released from Jail

My Fox Orlando reports that another bails bondsman has posted $300 for Casey Anthony’s latest second to latest charges.

A jail spokesperson confirms that MacConald Bail Bonds posted $300 Wednesday night for Casey’s recent charges. To be released, however, she would still have to come up with 10 percent of her $500,200 bond because it was rescinded by a bounty hunter last week.

So if the $50,320 needed in bail were to be paid in increments of $300, it would take approximately 168 bail bondsmen, looking for attention, to actually get Casey released.

We’ll call it 168. One down, 167 to go.

Protester Ericka Courtney answers a few questions

Using the term “answers” very liberally here. Last week you may remember a post I wrote titled “Going too Far” where I addressed protester Ericka Courtney banging on the Anthony’s door demanding answers. Ericka found the post and left a couple comments in the comments thread of that particular post.

I have since received several emails from readers and began wondering, since it was reported that Ms. Courtney had a child of her own that had been missing for 6 years, if maybe she was reaching out and what she really wanted wasn’t 15 minutes of fame, but instead maybe she was wanting help in finding her daughter.

Below is a copy of the email I sent Ms. Courtney followed by her emailed reply

You recently left a comment on our blog regarding the incident that took place outside the Anthony’s home over the weekend. I personally would like to apologize to you as to the tone of the post I wrote. I was a little taken back by what had transpired that day, and with all the emotions in this case, I just do not want someone getting hurt, which is a possible end result if people start going banging on doors over at the Anthony’s home. The harsh tone was meant to be more of a warning to those in the future than a condemnation of your actions.

Anyway, we have received several comments, and many more emails since that post. Some of them harsh for the tone of our post and in support of you and all that you are doing, some of them, not so much. There are several questions that have been consistent throughout most of these emails. If you would like to take a moment and answer the questions below I will post your answers on a page of their own on the website. If you were trying to be heard last weekend while you were in front of the camera’s this will further that cause.

In the footage you ask “Why isn’t Casey arrested If it had of been me, if it had of been someone in my race, I’d be in jail right now”.
First I’d like to ask you if you are yet aware that when you made that statement Casey Anthony was sitting in jail?

Do you really feel like this case is a race issue?

You also mention in the footage that you don’t feel justice is being served. What would you consider justice at this juncture of the case, and why?

You seem pretty adamant about the police having enough evidence already to charge her and convict her with murder in the 1st degree. I’m just curious, are you in the legal profession? If not, where do you get your information to make such a claim?

You said in this video that the only thing you could do is use your voice, and that’s all you could. Were you aware that while this was being filmed there were at least two groups out searching for Caylee? One of which has been looking for volunteers. Did you make any efforts to join the search for Caylee? If not, why?

Later in the footage you brought up the race thing again mentioning again that if someone of your race was in this situation they’d be in jail, and you followed it up with this statement, “I don’t want to turn it into a race thing”. Do you think by bringing it up twice in this video footage that maybe people will see you as trying to make this a race issue?

In other words, if you don’t want to make this a race issue, why would you bring it up?

Several news agencies have reported that you understand this as well as anyone because of the tragedy you yourself have had. You touched on it a little in the video. Your own daughter has been missing for 6 years.

“…it’s not an active investigation, I just don’t know where she is….there’s nothing I can do to find her, and I’d do anything to find her”

“and that’s why this case means so much to me, because if it were my daughter I would have done anything and everything in my power to get her back”

I can’t begin to imagine what it would be like to have a missing child. This website receives hundreds of thousands of visitors. If you would like for me to post a picture and your daughters information on this website, I’m sure we can help to find her. There are some pretty smart people on here. Would you like for us to help you locate your daughter?

“The leader of the search said the group stumbled upon what he thought were raccoon bones.

Casey Anthony has told investigators that Caylee was kidnapped by a babysitter at Blanchard Park.

“The story she gave them was she went to Jay Blanchard Park, Zenaida and her older sister, Samantha, and Samantha’s three young children were there and they were driving a silver Ford whatever and one of them jumped her and the other one took the baby and took her and said, ‘Hey, this is the script. For the next 30 days, you read this to law enforcement and tell them this is what happened’ and they zoomed off,” bounty hunter Leonard Padilla said.”

Now I heard rumors down the line that there was a “script” but then nothing more for another bits of information were coming out at a fairly rapid speed.

Questions:
*Any more news on this supposed “script”?
*Hasn’t the 30 days expired by now?
*Is there any evidence of this “script” or has the *Anthony’s proclaimed it was shredded for the protection of the family & Caylee?
*Do you think this is the people the Anthony’s were supposedly watching but we as of yet to hear anything about?
* Can you make any sense out of this?????

I kid you not this “situation” is getting more & more confusing & aggrivating with each bit that comes out!
I keep saying THAT IS IT, I have to walk away from this but then something really odd comes out & I find myself sitting there pondering . . WHAT THE HEY HIDDY HEY IS GOING ON?
