The Casey Camp continued it’s free-fall tonight on Nancy Grace. I don’t even know what Cindy was doing on the show. She kept talking about all these people that are calling her with Caylee sightings. Sarah II summed the entire interview up tonight when she wrote:
What people are probably saying to Cindy when they call her:
“Where is Caylee? Why aren’t you out looking for her? Why didn’t your daughter look for her the week she was out of jail? Why did you tell police the car smelled like a damn dead body, and then you changed it to pizza, then you changed it to somebody’s dead body, but not Caylee’s?”
What Cindy hears:
“We saw Caylee at a mall in Atlanta and called police but they never showed up. She was with a Hispanic lady and was calling her Zanny.”
Whenever Nancy Grace would try to break it down for her regarding evidence in the case, Cindy would just go silent. Eerily silent.
As if that wasn’t enough, Leonard Padilla, who I guess is tired of their games and them slamming him in the press, decided to drop this bomb just as the credits were starting to roll.
Here’s the situation Nancy. I believe that when the FBI, who’s got one of the finest labs in the world, comes back with the DNA it’s going to shock the world over something that Lee, Casey, and Cindy have known since Wednesday when they released their preliminary findings; and also the dumpster a mile and a quarter down from the boyfriend Tony’s house is going to play a big part in this.
For those of you watching the Nancy Grace show while at your computer. Here’s your thread to discuss the show while it’s on and others can follow. I will post video, and transcripts when available.
Note: Some of the regulars here on the site are named Nancy. Inevitably, during our Nancy Grace open threads, someone wanders onto this site and starts chatting up one of our regulars thinking they are talking with Nancy Grace.
We’re quite certain Nancy Grace follows our blog, but during the show she simply doesn’t have time to blog live with us.
Our Nancy’s are better anyway.

This group was started due to the case of the missing little girl from Orlando area, Caylee Anthony. Many volunteers came together to support each other with providing food, water, etc in the area.
I wanted to be there to help local law enforcement and have approval from Fayetteville PD & Fayette Co SO if the need arises of a missing person, critical incident, or natural disaster. In the case of any above situation, law enforcement needs to dedicate time and energy on the need at hand. Fayette Finders is more of a “orgainization group” to help keep volunteers in working order, assist in getting supplies, food, water, flyers, etc.
Casey Anthony, the mother of a missing 3-year-old Orlando girl, did not accept a limited immunity deal offered by the State Attorney’s Office, which set a deadline of 9 a.m. Tuesday.
The State Attorney’s Office issued a statement on Tuesday, which said, “As of this morning, the State has not heard from the defense attorney regarding our offer to speak about the case. The offer has now expired.
The limited immunity would have protected Casey Anthony from statements she made to investigators, but evidence found based on her statements could have been used against her.Casey Anthony’s attorney, Jose Baez, did not immediately respond to a phone and e-mail message Tuesday. He has said his client doesn’t know what happened to Caylee.A family spokesman referred questions to Anthony’s attorney, but said they were “looking for Caylee alive.”"(Investigators) have to justify what they’ve done thus far,” said Cindy Anthony, Casey Anthony’s mother. “They’ve railroaded Casey from the very first day … it’s very evident.”(source)

On July 17th, 2008, at approximately 1500 hours, Detective Sergeant John Allen asked me to meet with Mr. Brian Burner in reference to obtaining a sworn statement from him detailing his knowledge into the disappearance of Caylee Anthony. Sergeant Allen gave me Mr. Burner’s cellular telephone number and asked me to call him to arrange our meeting. At approximately 1508 hours, I called Mr. Burner and introduced myself as the detective who was coming to meet with him. Mr. Burner told me he would meet me in the parking lot of a business called H&B Trading Company located at 6855 President’s Drive, Orlando, Florida. He said he would be driving a maroon Ford Taurus.
I left the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Central Operation Complex and drove to H&B Trading Company. I arrived at approximately 1525 hours and puled up next to a maroon Ford Taurus which was parked alone in the parking lot of the business. The sole occupant of the car was a white male who later identified himself to me as Brian Burner. I asked him if he wanted to speak with me in my car our his car; he agreed to sit in my car to talk. Mr. Burner sat in the front passenger seat of my unbarked patrol car. We engaged in a brief greeting and short conversation about the why he he wanted to speak with a detective. Afterwards, Mr. Burner agreed to allow me to record his statements as I thought they may be pertinent to the case. Mr. Burner presented his Florida Driver’s License to me, at my request, so that I could confirm his identity. I copied the information onto my notepad and returned his license to him. I activated the recorder and placed it on the console of the car. Mr. Burner acknowledged that he was a willing participant in the interview and that he was not threatened, promised or coerced in any way for his testimony.
Mr. Burner told me that he was in Chicago from June 10th through, June 16th, 2008. He said he was not certain whether he returned home the week of the 16th or the following week. He said shortly after he had returned home, he was doing his yard work when Casey Anthony, his neighbor, came over and asked him if she could borrow a shovel to dig up a bamboo root that she had been tripping over. He said he loaned her the shover and continued doing his yard work. He said he gave her the shovel and she walked into the garage with it. He said he saw Casey Anthony’s car backed into the garage and he thought that was unusual, because she normally parks in the driveway. H said Casey Anthony appeared to be home alone; he said he saw no one else with her and there were no other cars in the driveway. He said he did not see her leave in her car. He said he finished his yard work and locked up his tools. he said he walked back around to the front of his house to see if Casey was done with his shovel and noticed that the garage door was still up and her car was in the garage. He said told his 13 year old son, Nicholas, that if Casey came to the door and rang the door bell, she would be returning his shovel. He told him it would be okay for him to open the door and take the shovel.
Mr. Burner said he went inside to take his shower and when he was done he asked Nicholas if Casey had returned the shovel and Nicholas told him that she had not. He estimated approximately 10 more minutes lapsed before Casey returned the shovel. He said Casey rang the front door bell and handed him the shovel. He said she did not appear to be dirty. She was wearing shorts and asport top / sport bra. He said he placed the shovel inside his interior garage door, leaning against the wall and he had not used the shovel since it was placed there. Mr. Burner agreed to allow me to come to his house and collect the shovel for further examination.
Video of the Today show with Cindy Anthony, spokesperson Larry Garrison.
I guess Ericka the woman who was seen in this video yelling through the door at the Anthony home in protest yesterday, and who left a comment on our “Going too far” post yesterday after we protested her protest, is still getting some mileage on her 15 minutes of fame.
Cindy is still convinced that Caylee is alive and that Casey had given her to someone she trusted. (presumably snuffleupagus Zaneida Gonzalez)

As the Anthony family hunkers down behind a theory of disproven leads and tired tips, alleged druggie friends and a nanny who exists only as code for Casey’s ex-fiancé, the State delivers a startling one-two counterpunch to the defense’s motions to dismiss Remember the photos of the trash from Casey’s trunk? Did anything unusual or out of the ordinary make a […]

Things are definately heating up in the Morgan Harrington case. There's really no doubt in my mind this won't end up being a cold case years from now. As many cases as we follow, I've come to recognize certain patterns of interest in these cases through searches, web-traffic, and such. For whatever reason total strangers have latched onto t […]

Soon I’ll turn 40. I’m not a big age dweller but something about turning forty just doesn’t seem like something I want to celebrate. The older I get the tougher the birthdays are and the smaller the parties. Today I learned is Leah Freemans Birthday. It put birthdays in perspective for me. No more will I whine about turning a year older. Leah Freeman w […]

She apparently had discipline issues and they were going to learn her.One year almost to the day Kimberl […]
