JANE VELEZ-MITCHELL, GUEST HOST: Breaking news tonight, major bombshells as more disturbing forensic evidence comes back in the case that all of America has been tracking, the disappearance of that beautiful 3- year-old Florida girl named Caylee. She was last seen with her mother, Casey. Little Caylee has been missing for 10 long weeks.
Tonight, the case appears increasingly ghoulish and grim. The much- anticipated DNA results are finally in tonight and it is a bombshell. According to local affiliate WKMG, hair found in mom, Casey Anthony`s, car trunk appears — and I say, appears — to be little Caylee`s and appears to show signs of human decomposition. And of, course that is a very bad sign. All indications now point to 3-year-old Caylee as quite possibly dead. This on the heels of air samples taken from that same car trunk that also confirmed human decomposition. Plus, cadaver dogs hit on Casey Anthony`s car. Investigators now set to hand over these DNA results to prosecutors.

“We continue to receive inquiries in reference to forensic evidence pertaining to the Caylee Anthony investigation recently returned to the Sheriffs office. We once again confirm that we have received and continue to receive forensic results from evidence in that case, from at least two forensic laboratories. As we have previously stated, because of the sensitivity of the ongoing criminal investigation we will stay the course and reserve our right to withhold any and all evidentiary details until such details become a matter of public record. We can affirm that every piece of evidence returned in this case is being carefully reviewed by investigators assigned to this case and by the state attorneys office. Our primary objective in this investigation is to locate Caylee Anthony.”
BREAKING NEWS: Casey Anthony’s bond will be revoked Saturday and she will be booked back into the Orange County Jail, bounty hunter Leonard Padilla just told the Orlando Sentinel. Padilla also told the Sentinel he no longer thinks Anthony’s 3-year-old daughter Caylee Marie is alive.
Padilla said he and the bondsmen who helped bond Anthony out of jail are not going to revoke her bond Friday because she has a scheduled appointment to meet with her attorney Jose Baez.
“It’s just a courtesy,” he said.
Anthony was at Baez’s office for several hours today and left quickly without speaking to reporters just after 3 p.m. Baez will not be making a statement to the press today. Orlando Sentinel 5:34 PM EDT, August 28, 2008
ORLANDO, Fla. — New FBI DNA results in the case of a missing Orlando girl indicate the girl is most likely dead. Hair samples found in the trunk of Casey Anthony’s car are definitely that of her daughter, Caylee, and the hair samples do show signs of decomposition, Local 6 confirmed Thursday.
