Tip Claims New Slab Of Concrete Poured Behind Anthony Family Home

The Anthony family Thursday would neither confirm nor deny a tip that Eyewitness News received saying a new concrete slab was poured in their backyard over the July 4th weekend. That would be just days before the family called deputies about the missing girl, and nearly a month after her mother says she last saw the girl.”

Oh great here we go….. I guess the family not ‘confirming nor denying the tip’ exemplifies more of thier “cooperation” , that their slime ball attorney keeps emphasizing.

UPDATE:”A separate tip was discounted by authorities Thursday. Other media outlets reported Thursday that a new concrete slab has been poured in the Anthonys’ back yard. Investigators searched the Anthonys’ back yard last week and said it has been cleared with no plans to revisit it at this time.” (source)

Wait, Granny said they do alot of yard work and that the police knew of all modifications made to the yard over the last year. But, she couldn’t come up with a better excuse like “We put concrete in so that Caylee wouldn’t step on the bamboo like she did when my daughter had to borrow the shovel for that.”

This grandmother is ridiculous…and a fame whore. She is covering up.

i can’t believe those people would keep telling their self that they don’t know where that little girl is……I think the daughter killed the little girl and calle her mom for help and they let the body stay in the vehicle until they could decide what to do with it which was bury it in their own back yard! the police need to dig up that concrete. these people are druggies!!

I’ve been reading updated on this story as they become available or listening on cnn.com during my work day. This entire story completely leaves me in shock. This little girl is gorgeous, innocent and unable to defend herself. With the amount of time that has passed we can all only assume she has been murdered, and quite obviously by her own family! Not often do you find a Grandma as delusional as her daughter. Then again, I guess the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. My prayers will continue to ask for the safe return of Caylee. May God be with her always….

I think they should really take a close look at George Anthony he was a police officer, he knows how to fix things … maybe he helped his daughter try to get away with this … after all she is his only daughter and he loves her …. maybe he felt helpless CAYLEE WAS DEAD and he was going to lose his only daughter. I know from experience being the only daughter, that I could not lie to my Dad and by now I would have confessed to high heaven, if my Dad pressured me even a little bit. I think they all know the truth. They are a sad sad family.

  6. Loren says:

I honestly honestly think that maybe something happened on accident and Casey panicked, you know how scared we get when we know or think we are going to get in trouble for something uncontrollable maybe she hit her head or something and Casey didnt know what to do. So who else to call but mom and dad. Its crazy because I think Zenaida is innocent. I think that Casey used her as a target her and her mom Cindy… Cindy said she heard Casey mention that name 2 years ago. Such much bull jive. First off… how do you just casually remember a name from 2 years ago when your daughter claims to have been taking the little girl to Zanaida for a year. It hurts to listen to this because im pregnant with my first kid. And to think that someone could honestly know that a little 2 year old girl is dead and know that she is in heaven and pretend. It only makes things worse at the end. I wish she would just say you know what I F’D up! I was scared I didnt know what to do. Pizza and a dead body? Oh yeah? Get real

  7. judy says:

I believe she killed the little girl and buried her in the back yard and concrete was poured on her…

  8. Heather says:

Has anyone searched since then the backyard and under the concrete/dug it up????

  9. ohio says:

    Heather,
It is my understanding that it is not concrete that was poured. But paver brick laid. I am not sure, but trying to remember I read that somewhere.

  10. yourturntohelp says:

    Police dismissed this as irrelevant

  11. Heather says:

Has anyone checked/dug up that/around that? Maybe someone should ask Nancy Grace…

If these four family members have bent & changed each and every bit of truth containing to this case. Why does the police believe them about the slab in the back yard? Isn’t there ways to see past the concrete? Why and how can this family get away with covering up every fact. It looks like they could all be put in jail for covering up the truth. It’s like this case, this only case all the rules have been changed. My feelings are if I was thought to have caused any harm to my children or anyone that the police would come to my house arrest me and make my life a living hell. But of course I would have already been in a living hell just the thought of one of my grandchildren out from our protection. Not knowing where she was sleeping, where she was throw away at. What pain she might have endured. I love my children but who could put their lying daughter before their innocent grandbaby? I am 59 yrs. old and have been taking care of two of my grandchildren for about 4 yrs. The reason was neither of their parents watched them, cared who had them, where they were. When there was a chance that CPS would take them, that caused a small rumple in their feelings. But still, their girlfriends and boyfriends always came first. Their parents have cussed and lied on us for every breath we take. Just because we take care of their children. But when I didn’t know where they were or who had them I was going into Apt. courtyards asking questions. Looking for cars, one day I found them because they had been left alone and I could hear them laughing and playing. When I knocked on the door they screamed with delight and answered the door. How dangerous is that just by its self. They had made the biggest mess. There was no food. CPS did nothing to help us. Because their mother lies so much she believes them herself. And she too goes into such detail in her lying. Her parents believe everything she says. As I watch Casey on TV it is like I am watching our life. Except for one thing, I know where my babies are(with me). At my age this is the last thing I ever thought I would be doing. It is a financial drain, but we just do what we can. My sister and I watch Nancy Grace everyday and we just wish we could be there to question Casey. She would be begging for relief. We wouldn’t give up. Not until they unearth that baby girl. Thank you for covering this crime. I just think the respect you show for her parents is unjust. They are just as bad as Casey or they would change this way they hang on her every word. And for Casey being let out to find Caylee, heck no when others people have come up missing who do they call for help. The police, the FBI, the media. I can’t believe her parents haven’t dug up half of Florida by now. Put them all in jail and throw away the key. There has been a many of innocent persons locked up for a lot less and for a very long time. These four people don’t fear anything, not even God.
Someone should have taken this baby girl away from this family along time ago. Maybe she would still be with us growing up and making some family so happy.

  13. Lori says:

Casey could have put chloraform bottles or some other evidence in the wet concrete. Since Caylee was found in the woods she could have been burned up there then moved. I don’t guess it matters because Casey is linked to the car and the smell of death. I can’t imagine driving around in a car that smells of my dead child. That alone is crazy. The defense is saying the nanny still did it. I hope that lady sues them for everything. How would she have access to her car, computer and all with out ever meeting the Grandparents? They would have done better saying the alians got her.
